We had someone come out to look into why some lights weren't coming back on. He flipped a switch on our breaker, turning on the lights we thought were the problem only to not check the rest of the house. The other half of the kitchen lights now won't turn on and they said it would be $620 to come back to trouble shoot it after paying $69 for them to come out and flip a switch. We also had them look at our heater since it would turn off then back on repeatedly. He said to clean the filter or place a vent on the furnace door. We changed the filter however the problem persisted. We learned from an other company what the real problem was. Again, we paid $69 for poor advice and no diagnostic information. I recommend going elsewhere to actually diagnose the issues you may be having. read more

This is a review of HVAC services provided by Fuse Services. I am a retired HVAC (and General) Contractor and before I retired I always used a competent sub-contractor when I could not perform a trade to my satisfaction. I installed my existing HVAC system myself over twenty years ago, and it was still operating satisfactorily. However, I try to replace major appliances before they fail because it is far less disruptive (and often less expensive) to do so. But now I'm in my mid-seventies and not as agile in an attic as I used to be. As part of my due diligence I of course researched Fuse Service reviews on Google and Yelp, and made my selection based primarily on that information. In my opinion, and my experience, project cost is secondary to value; meaning personnel timeliness, craftsmanship, vendor dependability and product reliability are all an important part of the purchase decision making process. (Cheap is rarely inexpensive, and in the end often costs more. You don't always get what you pay for, but you never get what you don't pay for.) With respect to cost, while Fuse was certainly not the cheapest of the multiple bids I obtained, they were also not the most expensive, so I decided to go with them. The Fuse Service project evaluation process was professional, thorough and responsive. They were readily able to incorporate several unique system design requests that I wanted (and which would normally not come up in a standard home bid). The installation process was profoundly EXCELLENT! The Lead Installer Aiden and his associate were fantastic workers. They were energetic, incredibly hardworking, thoughtful, creative, exhibited superior customer service and simply professional to the highest degree imaginable. I have very high standards when it comes to my work and I was pleasantly surprised beyond my expectations by their performance. (If I were still in business I would hire them in an instant!) I contracted Fuse to install an 240v outlet for my EV charger and a generator inlet with main breaker interlock. Victor set up a video call with me to get a free estimate. He was quick to deliver the estimate 3 days after our call. He was quick to answer my questions over text. The price was very competitive compared to other contractors, mainly because they included a load shedding to give me full 40amp charger vs others were going to install 20-30amp. Do I need 40amps? Probably not but I really like the optionality and future proofing it provides! Vitalii and Oakley were here for the install. Vitalii arrived on time and asked me questions on where to install. There was some miscommunication with the estimate but it was quickly addressed by both Vitalii and Victor! The install was quick and painless. Vitalii even addressed my concerns about potential pipe behind the wall so he used his snake camera make sure there's clearance. They left the install site clean and showed me how to use the new interlock. I did my own permits and the city inspector came by and approve the install.
