I called Fuse HVAC due to issues with Heat Pump unit. Vladimir, the technician, diagnosed the issue as being tied to refrigerant leakage. He was clear and thorough in explaining how he did the diagnosis and walked through the different options. He gave me 2 quotes - one for repair and another for replacement. Later I decided to do just a refill of the refrigerant and got a quote for that. He came over to do that too and identified one more issue. I followed up with a phone call to understand the issue and again he was informative and professional. Overall, a very good, positive experience. read more

I've used them for HVAC (mini split and heat pump) installation, multiple electrical outlet installations, and organizing permits for a new subpanel and they were all very communicative, cordial, and when complications or questions arose open to creative ideas and solutions that would be also still to electrical and city codes. Pricing I would say is a bit harder to understand at times with a lot of coupons/sales/options (not a bad thing at all, but do your research and ask the staff which things would be most helpful -- ex. Can I pay in cash? How much would permitting cost? I have a referral code, etc), but while maybe not the cheapest the workmanship is worth it. read more

Because I had trouble re-producing the error when he first visited, he suggested some ways to collect data and then returned with a replacement temp sensor. The scale of our plumbing project was frankly crazy - I don't think we'd have started if we knew what was in store for us... but I am so glad we did. Fuse stepped up to the challenge and did an amazing job. The water in our house is simply fantastic and a small source of joy every time I run a tap (I'm not exaggerating!) The challenge was nothing less than to replace all the plumbing in our house with brand new copper piping. Fuse replaced the water cylinder in our garage with a new gas tankless boiler, added a water softener and installed a recirculation line for near-instant hot water. We also used this as an opportunity to overhaul the laundry area in the garage: Plumbing for a utility sink was added, condensate pipes for the HVAC were tidied up behind the wall and electrics were rerouted. The water softener was perhaps the biggest revelation. Previously our tap water had tasted so bad that we resorted to having our drinking water delivered in 5-gallon bottles every month by ReadyRefresh. Limescale quickly built up in our showers and it was difficult to create much of a soapy lather. Now the tap water is very drinkable and we've cancelled our ReadyRefresh subscription! The water actually feels softer and shampooing feels luxurious. Even our cleaner has commented how much easier she finds it cleaning the bathrooms. The main bulk of the project took two weeks to complete. If you are considering a plumbing project of this scale, be aware you will have to move out of your house for several days. My family booked into a nearby hotel for four nights. We were able to move back as soon as water was available in the kitchen and upstairs bathroom. Every day at 8.30am and 7pm I dropped by the house to monitor the work, get updates and give direction. As the owner of the house I needed to make sure everyone was on the same page and clarify details where necessary. If you are happy to spend the time and money, an alternative would be to draw up detailed plans and hire someone to supervise for you. Fuse will do their best, but they are not mind readers. The laundry area was perhaps the trickiest part of the whole project, and I underestimated the work required to do it properly. A lot of piping and electrics had to be crammed into a small area of wall at the back of the garage. These had to serve the washing machine, electric dryer, new utility sink, water softener and HVAC. It was like a game of Tetris! I greatly appreciate the patience of Kiril and his team as they tried to fit it all in. Ron the electrician also did a fantastic job rerouting all the electrics so they were neat, tidy and to-code. Unfortunately the frame of our 50-year-old house simply wasn't sufficient to accommodate all this work. By the end of it the 2x4 studs had too many holes! After the city inspector said this wasn't going to pass, Fuse hired a structural engineer and General Contractor to install new, larger 2x6 studs. To my surprise the extra 2" of depth made all the difference - it now seemed a lot easier to route all the pipes and electric wires. The finished result looks so much better. I am hugely appreciative of project coordinator Zane's patience and professionalism throughout all this. The process involving the city inspector, structural engineer and General Contractor took a lot longer than anyone expected. It must have been pretty frustrating at times. In hindsight, the very first thing I should have done was open up the wall and get a structural engineer to look at it. I however knew nothing about structural engineers at the time, so my one recommendation to Fuse would be to make sure their clients understand the structural implications of the requested work. I was completely clueless. Now that is all behind us, my family and I absolutely love our new water. We never realized how bad our old plumbing was. Instead of waiting five minutes for hot water in our main bathroom it is now instant; showers are very satisfying and our tap water tastes great. Furthermore, we now have a laundry space that is clean, tidy and modern. It was a lot of work, but absolutely worth it. Another great job Fuse! read more

It's been a while since my 2 star review Since then, I have had my water heater and HVAC unit replaced from Fuse as well as ran electric wiring. Yes, not all the reps speak good English. And dealing with the permit department is not the smoothest due to the curt responses However, the ladies on the customer service phone lines have been extremely courteous 9 out of 10 times and the guys that did the HVAC were both personable and very proficient This is one of the two companies that I go to for any electrical / HVAC issues - wonderful, down to earth people. We just replaced our 20 year old furnaces and A/C units with a heat pump. Sage came over and assessed the project and sent over a quote. Andy and Alex came and did the work in 3 days. They were very courteous and professional. When the job was done yes quote and what we paid was almost spot on. Made the appointment on the first call. And their technician (Walter) showed up on time. Turned out after reviewing the situation, all he had to do was reprogram the nest thermostats. Easy peasy. Most recently I had an issue with half of my kitchen outlets not working, and they sent Dmytro to come diagnose and provide a free quote. We recently completed a large HVAC project with Fuse and we couldn't be happier with the entire process. We converted from a old gas furnace and central air to a dual zone Daikin heat pump system. Fuse also replaced all of our ductwork and installed several new vents as well. For our 3100 sq ft home, we received bids from three other HVAC companies. Fuse was the only company to provide a system with adequate sizing for our home size and layout. Both Elijah and Slava were extremely detailed in their site visits and took the time to answer all of our many questions before we committed to the proposal. I contacted FUSE, they had PM came to my house to look at the issue, and gave immediate solutions/options (even if main cause of the issue could be my old house's space limitation). After understanding what happened, they reimbursed the $500 we paid last year, sent 2 of their best technicians to thoroughly investigate what was going on and resolved the leak.The technicians did a thorough analysis and found a slowly leaking part on the high pressure side of the system.
