Review on (07/03/2024) updates the previous review on (06/26/2024) After reading my first review (see below), the business reached out to me and apologized for the ordeal that I had to go through. They also issued me refund for the entire amount that I had paid them to diagnose as well as repair. By this time, the other AC repair company finished the repairs of my compressor and the AC started working again, which confirms that the compressor was the problem to begin with. I just wish that they had accepted their mistake when I called in to report it, rather than have me resolve the issue in this fashion. The installation for an ear pump was done very well and efficiently. Although the estimator was very knowledgeable, he only measured the inside of the closet. When the installer came, he realized the door frame was it large enough and had to remove it. The estimator also promised Fuse would take care of HERS and permit inspections, neither of which they showed up for. I was impressed by their scheduling communications by text. However when I tried to call their office, it was difficult to get an answer. There are many numbers and many different departments none of which answer. I contacted multiple companies to get quotes for replacing our two gas furnaces with heat pumps. Almost all companies quoted an egregious amount, and were only offering large Carrier or Lennox units to install. However, when I got in contact with Fuse, they had different offerings and at a price that is much more reasonable. Their quotes were about $12-15k lower than what many others asked, and the final price for the two heat pump installs came out to be just $400ish above what the estimate was. The whole experience was really great. The estimator was thorough and guided me with the different options I can choose for heat pumps- Mitsubishi, Carrier, or GREE. I decided to choose Carrier as it provided the best middle-ground solution of price, features, energy savings, and warranty. The installers came a few weeks later and did a fantastic job of keeping the worksite clean, making sure their work is thorough and neat, and verifying that all of the requests were met. They dotted all of the I's and crossed all T's. I'm super happy with the result of the two heat pumps- both are very quiet, they keep the house at a constant temperature, and are rather aesthetically pleasing when compared with the two old Rheem gas furnaces we had. The work they've done has been splendid, and I will be contracting them with additional electrical jobs on my home. Bravo! read more

The plumber replaced my washer box, replaced the ice maker water box for the fridge, and fixed a toilet leak. The total time was about four hours. I was impressed with how he handled unexpected challenges like the pipes for the new fixture not aligning with the existing pipes in the building. I paid a little more than I would have liked but that's the nature of plumbing work. You're paying for the know-how to avoid disasters. David from Fuse installed a ductless Mitsubishi heat pump system for our split-level home. He was an excellent communicator and kept us in the loop during the entire process. Two ceiling cassettes were installed downstairs, 1 in the living room and 1 in the dining room, as well as two more ceiling cassettes in the two bedrooms. His work was excellent and he worked long hours and came in on a Saturday to finish on time. He was methodical in checking his work, and even did extra work to improve on some aspects of our existing ductwork. We have a small attic and small house, but David and his team were able to figure out how to make it work. We've had the system working for 2 days and both the heating and cooling are working very well and we are extremely happy with the result. We can't wait to try it on a hot day. The only thing that was a bit unexpected is that it took longer than the 3 days in the estimate (it actually took 4 1/2 days), but David worked hard to get it done as fast as possible. Let me explain: Estimate was done by video and extremely easy and accurate. Scheduling was easy, too (4 stars). Day of appointment was poor communication and electrician showed up late. As a result of poor scheduling, I lost several hours from the office that I didn't need to lose (2 or 3 stars). Electrician (Zorik T.) was great. Very attentive to protecting property and clean up; constant communication throughout the job to ensure it worked from both the client's and an electrician perspective; and everything is working as expected.
