My cousin and his wife from out of state came to visit my folks and I last night, so I suggested we come here for dinner based on my past experiences here. Service was quick and friendly last night. As always, the place was kept well maintained and clean. Everyone enjoyed their meals. There are plenty of pescatarian, vegetarian, and vegan options on the menu. The restaurant also offers a nice selection of drinks. I only wish they offered their breakfast items all day.

What a wonderful family run restaurant! My friend made reservations for the 4 of us, not really needed, but we were greeted with a smile by the owner and the table set and ready for us. The menu is extensive with wonderful menu options, especially for us home cooks that want to try something culinary different than what we make at home. Simply put, all 4 dishes were excellent and wonderfully plated! The Potato Leek Soup is a "must order" and the sweet potatoes fries all amazing as Starters. My husband's Flat Iron Steak was very tender and cooked perfectly, although he felt the portion could be larger. He loved the extra crispy seasoned fries! My Penne Arrabiata with Chicken was amazing! I was asked my preference on the amount of heat, I said medium and it was medium. A perfect dish; a wonderful blend of flavors with moist chicken and ample goat cheese creating a wonderful savory experience. It was a very large serving so lucky me, enough left over for a second meal tonight! Our friends ordered the Cilantro Pesto with Chicken. He said it was absolutely delicious and I was able to snap a photo of it before it was all gone! His wife ordered an absolutely beautifully plated and tasty dish, the Fusion Dish; Shrimp seasoned and cooked to perfection, unique potato puree type croquets and Shitake Mushroom Spring Rolls with wonderful dipping sauces. House Chillean Chardonnay wine was wonderful and only $9.00 a glass, nice selection of on-tap beer, Moscow Mules a thumbs up. The owner is delightful and the service was excellent! We can't wait to go back with our entire family.

We visit this extraordinary restaurant as much as possible and bring friends with to enjoy it all. It's a beautiful setting outside and inside, and the owners are available and friendly! The food is plentiful, delicious, and plated artistically! There's even live music at dinner. You can't go wrong, and it's so satisfying to frequent a local neighborhood restaurant!

Lovely restaurant, with indoor and outdoor seating, we had dinner and enjoyed looking through the large menu first. Many Veggie, Vegan choices. The Coconut salmon is spectacular! My boss invited us here for lunch and this has been my 3rd visit here. This place is always busy. The best part is that it's locally owned and ran by the owners I think and the service is fast, friendly, and ooooohhh sooo delicious. We all ordered very different plates and they all came out quick and hot. The portions are big and filling. I got the grilled chicken sandwich with a side of fries and it comes with this dipping sauce that is oh so good too. The service is top notch like a fancy restaurant and the pricing is affordable for the area and service/portions. I highly recommend this restaurant as I've never had a bad experience and the food tastes fresh and healthy since they use clean oils to cook and fresh ingredients.

We tried breakfast here the other day and it was decent. I feel like it's super promising and in a few months they'll be great. The pancakes were amazing and their traditional breakfast was good. Been here a few times since they moved to TO. Apparently a huge following in NBP there old location. Nice atmosphere, decor, foods a bit pricy and they charge for extra sauce when you don't necessarily get enough but food is fresh and good. My boyfriend and I went on our first date at Fusion Grill, and we have been back several times since then. It's our special spot. I like to try different things each time, and so far I've had the veggie risotto, chicken sandwich, cilantro pesto penne, and tonight I had the coconut salmon for Valentine's Day. They've all been delicious! The only thing is that the food always comes too fast! Within 5-10 minutes of ordering (no joke). This can be a positive thing, unless you were trying to enjoy some bread before the meal and let the anticipation build. We still adore this restaurant and will be coming back regularly. Valentine's Day was such a treat, the chocolate mousse cake + espresso was to die for. They handed out beautiful roses to everyone. Fusion Grill is one of my favorite places in the Thousand Oaks/Newbury Park area. Owned by a local dude who's fusion food always packs a great flavor punch. The Chicken sandwich, don't let the name fool you, if the best chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life. Chicken cooked to perfection, a bunch of flavorful veggies, and an amazing chipotle sauce. Their chipotle sauce is SO good. The bread is always fresh and tasty too! Definitely check this place out! Has inside and outside seating. read more

My family loves this restaurant! We're a family of 4 with some picky eaters. There is something on the menu for everyone. The food is delicious! We have tried a lot of the items and have enjoyed all. The staff is so gracious and friendly. It is family owned and you can feel that warmth in the staff. It has become our favorite restaurant. I'm glad we found this gem! read more

They have dealt with my crazy special orders (food allergies have always been a challenge but I have never had an issue because everything is made fresh)! Really weird vibe inside and weird combo of food in the menu. For the price of the food, it was very unflavorful and over not great. Very slow service even though that had like 4 waiters working, we would ask for refills or bread for the table and they would never come back. Do not recommend coming here :( read more

I love this restaurant! My parents took me here for breakfast last week, as they had dinner there the week before. My mom and I split the steak and eggs and the grilled cheese breakfast sandwich. I really enjoyed both, but I've been thinking about that sandwich for days. It had two kinds of cheeses, eggs, and tomato. Yum! Yum! We went during the week, so we missed out on the unlimited mimosas for $7 (just on the weekends), so I'm getting a group together to go for brunch in the next few weeks. Oh, and as a bonus, the owners were super sweet, and I love choosing a neighborhood place over a chain, any day. read more

Had dinner here the other night with my husband. First off, I love that this place is small enough to be like a quick dine in dinner but still looks really nice like it's a big restaurant. They have huge sizes for beers here and for a good price! Everything on the menu sounds delicious but my husband ended up on the one eye burger and I got the strip steak. They allowed me to sub fries for green beans (boo post baby diet) but I so wanted to try the fries. They looked so good! Maybe on cheat day...anyways. My husband's burger was delicious (snuck a bite) and my steak was made perfectly. Husband tried the chocolate mousse for desert..very light and good. I really enjoyed this place and will definitely be a new regular spot. Also very clean, nice staff...overall great. Can't wait to try more items on the menu...Thank you for dinner! read more

Fusion Grill has been around for awhile. They offer patio and indoor dining. The menu includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. We ordered a Goat Cheese Candied Pecan Chicken Salad and the Fusion Platter. Dinner was delicious. Cant wait to go back and try some of their other dishes. Wonderful service. read more

We went to Oak and Iron, but because we didn't get the best service we went downstairs to see what was there and found a hidden gem in Thousand Oaks. Plus the wine selection was amazing. We got to try some delicious wines. It was awesome to talk to the owner of the wine club. Who knew everything about each selection and let us try various wines. Honestly, this is a hidden gem in Thousand Oaks and you have to check it out. I am seriously in love with this place. You have to check it out.

the service here was so disappointing! we came here to celebrate a friends birthday. one of us…read morecalled in advance to see if leaving a cake in their fridge was ok, and after getting the green light came to the restaurant early in the morning to deliver it. we got to the restaurant at 6:30, and after being sat we started to notice that it was taking quite a while for them to come take our order. it's a saturday night so they were kinda busy but the patio still had plenty of seating left. one of the waitresses was very nice and offered to get us some extra bread for no charge to eat with our charcuterie board, but it never came the real issue arose with the cake... after eating we asked for it and it genuinely took 20+ minutes for it to appear on the table. i want to stress that we were not asked if we would like the cake cut or not when we first asked them to bring it. about halfway into the wait one of the employees came by and asked if we wanted it cut, and we said no, because we wanted to put the candles on it and cut it ourselves. our cake finally appears and there is a single cut in the center of it. once we got the check we saw that there was a 20 dollar cake cutting fee added to our bill. again, we weren't asked at first, and once we were, we said no. idk :/ aside from this, the food was ok. the steak and frites with the chimichurri sauce was alright. i really liked my leek quiche. fries were really good actually. but unfortunately this experience was really tainted by the service. i don't think the staff communicated with each other at all.

The veggie platter that came with the order was pretty standard and nothing bad nor special about it. Seating arrangement is a bit awkward for larger groups. My group was 5 people and since it's all bar seating it was difficult to converse with everyone so I wouldn't recommend this spot for bigger groups Staff here were awesome. They were professional and took care of us well during our entire dining experience Overall, for the price and quality of food I wouldn't recommend this spot for folks who regularly have Shabu Shabu.

Listed under appetizers but really a good sized portion with four large prawns. One of the prawns was prepared to perfection. The other three were a bit "squishy". After we finished eating, the owner came by to see how we enjoyed the dining experience - nice touch.

As a result, Dear Hubby and I haven't been close by to Little Calf to remember to stop in for quite a while. Recently, though, after a nearby medical appointment I felt like some non-dairy ice cream. It was a Saturday in the mid-afternoon, and they weren't very crowded, which worked out great for us. They always have at least four options for frozen "ice cream" without the cows' milk dairy. Having just been through an MRI test, I decided to treat myself to a small sundae. Hadn't had one in ages! Their hot fudge is outstanding! Just the hit of chocolately goodness I was craving. I paired it with lemon sorbet. It was a wonderful combination of sweet and tart. It was warm enough to sit out on their side patio and just relax for a while. I remarked to DH that I miss all the plants that the previous business owner had kept out on the patio for atmosphere. The current iteration is clean, but on the boring side. We love their food, so I'm overlooking the lack of ambiance for now. That being said, DH and I have been discussing recently how much we miss the kinds of places that used to have great style in their decor. Theme restaurants are more rare these days than they ought to be. I'm sorry for our kids and grandkids that they don't get to experience more of those kinds of visually interesting kinds of places without having to go to a theme park. I definitely enjoyed my small sundae as a wind-down from the whole MRI experience!

They got a variety of ice creams, some common ones but also some new ones. This is the first place I ever had a chance to try the espresso ice cream, which is ice cream with a shot of espresso, and it was delicious, especially as a coffee lover and ice cream lover. Kids devoured all their ice cream, which is rare for them to do. They also serve food here, which we did not get to try but is good to know is an option. They have tables everywhere and a fountain machine and some unique teas I got to try, like their lavender tea! This was beautiful and so amazing. I can't wait to come back and grab another ice cream espresso from here and maybe try one of their sandwiches. Yum!

Finally decided to check this place out, so i called in an order minutes before they closed (which was a pretty ballsy move considering i knew nothing about the place). Ended up ordering a Steak Sandwich combo for $14.95 which was a grilled steak on chiabatta bun, lettuce, tomato, red onion, homemade cilantro sauce and chipotle aioli with salad instead of fries (BTW, huge salad came with 1 little dressing container :( not enough to even put on half of the salad) and on-top of that my order came with no fork. However, my sandwich was delicious. My friend ordered a Caesar Wrap combo which has chicken, romaine lettuce, homemade croutons, tomato and caesar aioli with french fries, however the caesar dressing or dip sauce was tasteless. The gentleman who rang us up was extremely nice, friendly, helpful, and offered all sorts of condiments upon pick up (i would have asked for more dressing if i knew). I noticed upon pick up the restaurant does offer beer and wine sold inside - however this restaurant is not a full bar :( Our order came out to 29 and change - all in all pretty good place to check out. would love to come back during regular hours, I would also like to eat inside the restaurant (not that their to-go isn't good) and I will definitely be back to check out those truffle french fries, grilled cheese sandwich and I also want to try their burgers... seems to be a popular menu item :) read more
