This is my third visit to the location. Once again absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is positive modern Asian fusion. The staff are always kind and welcoming. The restaurant is always clean and orderly. The food and flavors and variety are off the charts especially for this region. The value can't be beat, the food quality far surpasses the price. On this visit we started with an order of the fusion fries and I continued with the baller bowl which consisted of pan seared and cajun popcorn shrimp that was so light and fluffy even I who despises fried shrimp truly enjoyed it. Having spent time in the south, I found that most places that fry shrimp are lacking, and much rather prefer fresh. However, fusion got me, however they battered their shrimp it was light and fluffy and crisp, not greasy or gritty in any way. A special shout out goes "Outa" to our server Outa, who explained his name was pronounced like "get outta here". This young man handled so many tables with professionalism and the speed and grace of a culinary assassin. We actually expected him to slip up and possibly even spill something or drop something, but he never did and he was always so kind and positive. Truly remarkable. Food-wise, it is alright. Half an hour for the order. I think they can do better than that. The staff needs good customer service, and micromanaging is not the key. In an hour in half, we only got checked twice. It took 10 minutes to run my card because the server started making 4 drinks. Fire!! Again, hot damn this place is FIRE!! You can taste the freshness in every bite. The ambiance is great. We had an awesome waitress "Olivia" who helped direct us & give good input on what to order. Honestly, im sure anything we ordered would have been delicious. We got here at 8:30 pm and I'm guessing the bar part of this joint was in full effect. The bartender was rude, disrespectful and unfriendly. She insulted us several times and I was ready to leave but my friends were reluctant and eager to try the food. After 15 minutes of waiting, and more foul looks from the bartender she finally took our order. We could hear loud music and fighting coming from the kitchen while our food was being made. Food came, I ordered Pho. The broth was awful and tasted like sink water. There was barely any meat and a load of undercooked noodles. No beansprouts or basil was given with the plate. This was the worst restaurant I've been to in a few years and I travel constantly. Absolute sh**hole. read more

Okay! They did it! They have officially moved to the Westside and we could not be happier! Fusion secured a prime, downtown location on Placer across from the restaurant that favors dogs to patrons and we are in full support of Fusion's policy that patrons come first! Clean, sharp, snazzy new digs, well lit, polished, and professional! They still have the pool table and multiple TV's for entertainment off to the side yet now have larger tables and an open atmosphere to house us all in an inviting new dining area. Same great food and drinks, lively staff, and YES their Pho is still the bomb! Excited to visit any day of the week and enjoy their extensive menu and great, big city vibe with a hometown feel. Food is good. Service was not. I was there on Tuesday 10/19 around 1pm for lunch with my wife. We sat at the bar. The Bartender was a very nice young lady who seemed to be working her ass off while the blond female (manager I'm guessing) leaned on the bar and talked for almost an hour with, what seemed to be, friend's or family of hers. I watched another couple leave the restaurant and say " Thanks" to the manager as they walked out, she didn't even acknowledge the thanks- Shouldn't this really should have been the other way around, shouldn't she be thanking them? The thin brunette from the back brought out our appetizer and was so quick to drop and run she didn't offer any napkins, utensils, plates, etc. After a few minutes I finally walked down the bar and found us some paper towels we could tear off and use both as a plate and as a napkin. The manager saw me grab the paper towels and didn't offer to get me anything. Our experience would have been much better if the Bartender had some help. She was covering most of the place by herself so I'm sure her service to everyone was lacking- though no fault of her own. You can't blame it on a labor shortage either, the labor (manager) you've got is just lazy or perhaps misguided as to the role of a manager. read more

The location is surrounded by a lot of other stores, shops and restaurants in the new and still developing downtown. This place has a good vibe, nice look and the food is truly amazing. We sat at the bar, as we always do, to get a good look around. Chris, our bartender, took very good care of us...very good. He is the kind of server we always wish for. My wife loves to order from the drink menu and I have beers but the drink menu even turned my head. I ordered from the gluten-free menu and got back to the hotel to find my shrimp was breaded and not grilled. I called and they offered me a "free" replacement next time I come in or to have me drive back and have it fixed now. It isn't free if I already paid for it. I was overcharged because they changed they're menu prices on the computer but not on the hard copy. The young lady fixed my prices right away which I really appreciate. But not very stoked that half my food was inedible because a food allergy was ignored. Maybe they should change the name of the menu item when it is gluten-free to avoid confusion. read more

Pretty good - still working out some kinks in the new location. If there's going to be a "wait to be seated" sign someone needs to be attending as a host/hostess. I had three people, all who saw me, from behind the bar who really just didn't make a move to seat me until after several minutes. Interior is completely remodeled and it looks much nicer inside than it did before. The booth layout is a little weird and some of the tables are super wobbly but it's still nice inside. There's a full bar which is nice and pretty much the same menu as their former location. The seared ahi was very good - spicy and the side sauce was amazing. Overall it was pretty good. I'll give it some time and come back to try something else once they settle in a bit and I'm sure, by then, an upgrade will be in order. read more
