I love this taco shop and whenever I'm in the area I try to stop here . This visit fell kinda short but not enough to make me angry. Outside patio and inside needed tables cleaned and floors needed to be swept. We found a table on the inside thankfully and ordered our food . I ordered the brisket bowl which was just ok. My hubby ordered the same and he had the same response. The second couple with us ordered chips and Queso and quesadillas. They had no complaints. Drinks I tried to order were not available due to missing ingredients. I settled on a fuzzy navel and it was just ok . My friend ordered a banana margarita and she had no complaints. Staff were friendly. Restroom was just ok as well . Prices are reasonable. Menu has many items I'm interested in trying. I'm not gonna say I won't be back because I definitely will I just hope next visit is better. read more

Fuzzy's is a fun taco spot at Westport. It's great to pop in for a casual lunch or happy hour. They have a decent sized patio that lends to good people watching. There's quite a bit of seating indoors as well. Service can be hit or miss, depending on the staff working at the time. The margaritas are priced reasonably and quite good. I remember this place being so much better. I tried Fuzzy's for my first time a few years ago and absolutely loved it. However, my visit yesterday was far from impressive. The woman taking our order was very unfriendly and annoyed. After ordering at the counter, we grabbed a booth and waited a very long time for our name to be called at the counter for pickup. The restaurant was practically empty, so I'm not sure what could have taken so long. We ordered a shredded chicken taco, a ground beef taco, two Birria tacos, and an order of chips and queso. The Birria tacos were supposed to come with a side of sauce, but we did not receive any. Also, the cheese on the Birria tacos was completely charred on one side. The shredded chicken and ground beef tacos were perfect-- no complaints. The chips were also delicious and warm, but they were originally left out of our order, so we had to go out of our way to request them at the counter. The cook was very rude when we politely asked for the chips they had forgotten. The queso was alright, but I wouldn't get it again. The restrooms were pretty gross. The stall was almost out of toilet paper, no paper towels at the sink, sticky floor, and grime everywhere. I'm still giving Fuzzy's 3 stars because some of the food was delicious and the prices are very affordable. This place desperately needs a revamp... I miss how it used to be! read more

No creative sauces or garnishes or flavors. The tacos I got were pretty simple. No unusual combinations of flavors The bad. No micro brews on tap. Acoustics. I have to say the frozen Margarita was very good but wouldn't get me back there. It's been years since my last visit to the Westport location, and everything pretty much looks the same. I came during lunchtime on a Saturday and it wasn't busy at all. Only a few tables were occupied while we were there. They have 2 huge screens that display their menu, but it wasn't working. They had an outdated paper menu, which didn't bother me because I knew what I was coming for. The staff was nice and friendly. She explained what items were changed or no longer on the menu. When it came to checking the status of our order, I was a bit confused. We used to receive buzzers, but not this time. I saw what looked like my order up, but no one called my name. I asked the front staff, and she grabbed my order. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to just grab my own food or what. The bartender wasn't present and waited a minute for our drinks. This was my first time setting foot in one of these "Fuzzy's" restaurants. It was Saturday evening and to my surprise, there wasn't anyone there (same thing goes for most of Westport Plaza...). Visited this location twice and while the food is always on point I like to take the time and thank you and your staff for good service. My daughter and i went for a little girl time. I ordered the queso and chips and a shrimp quesadilla. The queso was pretty good but because a lot better once I added Pico to it. The shrimp quesadilla was tasty. The staff was really nice and very friendly but the young lady making the margaritas could use some more training on making margaritas. My daughter's margarita has a bubbly wine turned upside down in which made it overflow and a lot of the drink was wasted on to the table because she didn't compensate for the bubbles coming out into the margarita. Not too big but not small to the point where you buy two. My daughter had the shrimp tacos and said it was very good. Her quest Taco seemed a little too heavy on the queso. Her friend liked her shrimp quesadilla. We split an order of fajita nachos. Little small on the toppings and the chips were too fragile to scoop with. For dessert we tried the Oreo churros and the sopapillas. Churros were a little thick with minimal cream filling to cut the richness of the chocolate. The sopapillas were bite sized and sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. Butter on the side if one wished to add. My preference of the two. Overall we had a good experience. Fuzzy's has good food but if you want it hot you have to ask for it otherwise you get enchiladas wrapped around plain unmelted shredded cheese and Luke warm sauce. The shrimp and fried avocado was good but the soft taco shell seemed stale and not tasty. They are extremely slow in everything, and today had drinks that were out, no lids and no silverware and no one seemed interested in filling any of these. I don't come to Fuzzy's often due to cold food and very slow service and unless I see a lot of improvement I won't be back.... Met a friend for after work drinks and eats. Fuzzy taco had a $5 happy hour on different drinks. I haf a frozen pomegranate and peach margarita that was great. Service was quick and the food was great. We both chose the chick quesadillas. We had enough to quench our appetite and to take home for left overs. We always love Fuzzy's - regardless of which location. The beer-a-ritas are a must if you want an adult beverage. My new favorite is The Shocker...although I haven't complained about any of the many I've tried. For food, pick anything off the menu. I'm partial to the grilled shrimp tacos with a crunchy shell and the beef nachos (enough for 2 or more and SO good!). My husband and I like to split an order of nachos and then order a taco on the side for each of us. PLENTY of food! The Westport location has a bar area as well as dining and outdoor seating. Went here for the first time a few days ago after helping a friend clean their apartment. My friends are big fans of it however I found it to be a bit of a let down. The prices for what you get are good but overall the tacos were basic (same ingredients with different meats) and too full so they were hard to eat and I felt like I was wasting a lot of food since the majority falls out when you try to take a bite. So showed up to a sign that states cash only internet down. Fine but walk in and the guy incharge is on the phone. Really bothered that someone came in. Ordered. Watched as he continued on the phone, leave the restaurant area. Customers coming in just have wait and wiat for him to show back up. I was attending a conference at the Chalet nearby, and we decided to come to Fuzzy's because we were craving Mexican food, and needed something fast for our short lunch break. The courtyard around Fuzzy's is so, so charming and European, and I want to come back just to walk around it again. The line moved quickly, but we had to watch the tables like a hawk because 3 conferences=no empty tables to sit at! I ordered a shrimp fajita plate and a grilled fish taco. It took about 15 minutes for my order number to called, and I was pretty impressed by how huge the portion size is. My fajita plate was overflowing with fried rice, grilled onions and peppers, way too much sour cream, tasty grilled shrimp, lettuce,and hot tortillas wrapped in tin foil, refried beans (SO GOOD, although a little too thick and almost stuck to the roof of my mouth), a much appreciated huge dollop of guacamole, and salsa. The fish taco came in a corn tortilla and I really enjoyed it! The fried rice was unfortunately 50% inedible because most of the rice was rock hard (uncooked?? over-fried?) and crunchy....but still, I enjoyed the rest of the meal and had enough to bring home for dinner later that night! read more
