These guys literally saved my life…read more I took my car in for a 2nd opinion yesterday and THANK GOD I did. They did a complete inspection of my suspension system. Then took me in to see my car and walked me through every part that needed to be replaced/repaired and explained the issue and severity. That has NEVER happened at any other shop. They gave me several estimates to help break down the repairs for me. I knew how serious it was when they had me sign a disclaimer stating basically that they informed me of the severe issues with my car and I was knowingly driving an unsafe car. That freaked me out a bit. Took my car back today first thing in the morning to fix the things they considered priority (brakes, driver side axle, and wheel bearings). They did the work. When it was done, they took me in again to show me something completely frightening. They explained that the second they took the tire off, the axle completely broke APART and the pieces were lying on the floor in front of me. The only the thing that kept the pieces together was the tire holding it in place. Once the tire came off, the axle fell into pieces. I wish I took a picture. It was terrifying. Had they not pressed into me how serious the issues with my car was, the axle and brakes could've come apart on my way to work. Could've been in an accident. Could've been in an accident with my family in the car. Caused an accident. They literally saved my life. I can't even imagine what could've happened to me had I kept driving my car in the state it was in. I am beyond grateful.

I reached out to this shop for an emergency alignment job. I had previously taken my car into a…read morenational, well-known franchise for regular maintenance. They informed me an alignment couldn't be completed by their shop. Unfortunately, after getting it back, my car was nearly impossible to steer, I would get thrown into other lanes and it felt like my car was going to slide right off the tires. It was dangerous to drive. Enter Manteca Tire & Wheel Outlet, after explaining what I needed I was told I could bring it in. They were open about not being able to do the job as well (I've owned the car for 10 years now, with several shops having difficulties aligning it--and no shop ever being able to get it to spec., even when the car was stock. It's a clear manufacturer defect.) And while it did take some time to complete, they were rather busy at the time, and still found time to accommodate me for this emergency. But they were very communicative during the entire process. They were even super apologetic they couldn't align it to spec., which I fully expected. Price was fairly good, much better than the previous shop, and they even gave me a break because it couldn't fully be aligned correctly. The car drives so much better now.
