Unfortunately, the service is where things take a huge hit. We waited far too long for our meals to come out, and during that time, no one checked on our table. Even getting a drink refill felt like a challenge. It's a shame, because the kitchen clearly knows what they're doing, but the front-of-house service doesn't match the quality of the food. So I've been wanting to try this local spot for a while now. Took my wife and kids for a pre birthday lunch. The location is nice because it's on the beach but the food is straight Trash. We had to send our food back and we order something else and that was also gross. First thing we ordered was the chilaquiles that came out cold and did not taste good at all. Then we told the server and we ended up exchanging it for the lomo saltado that was disgusting seemed like a soup in Bbq sauce. Weirdest lomo saltado I've ever seen. I'm going to leave a five star review. For the simple fact the service by our waitresses was great felt very welcomed , even the security guard was so chill ( I truly hope you become a lawyer ! ) the people around us were cool. Now we came to watch a Mexico vs England game and my brother and I were rooting for England and they happend to score a few times ( 3 times actually) and my brother and I being fans cheered ! Half Time comes and we eventually get told we can't be here and that it's " safer " for us to leave because we're "inciting violence". That I didn't appreciate . Their own cooks were looking at us with these faces of disgust and felt Very uncomfortable. Again it's called a watch party for a reason and we came to watch a game just like everyone else did yet they told us " we Shouldn't t be here" " if anything goes down , don't say I didn't warn you and I'm not protecting you" im sorry but you don't say that to anyone . I get it if we we're being rude and mean to others but no the family in front of us were rooting for Mexico and we got to laugh and banter back and forth in a respectful fun way . Yet the "manager" came To us no one else and told us we're Going to have to leave. To me that's wasn't very nice at all , I should feel comfortable and safe to watch a SPORTS GAME AT A WATCH PARTY and be able to root for who I want. Definitely felt targeted but it is what it is. Beautiful spot. Beach views and location not hard to find. The food was great. I ordered the Entrańa entree with mashed potatoes and for my friend she got the milanesa sandwich which was really good. We went during lunch time was not crowded and weather was amazing. I am most definitely coming back. The vibe was cool and calm and their music playlist was my favorite. Reggaeton!! It's. YES for me! Worst brunch experience ever! I recently went here for my birthday weekend in hopes of a good time. On their website they advertise music on Sundays & that did not happen. They had music on for an hour & then they shut it off for the fifa game. I get the games are a big deal right now but don't advertise music from 11-2pm when you really are not going to play music. Cody started off our 1st round of drinks & he was great ! He was nice & helpful w/ explaining the menu. Then he got stuck behind the bar and we got a new server, he was not attentive at all. In Spanish him & the food runner/busser kept down talking about Cody to us. Which I thought was very rude! Then it took forever to get our food order in & a 2nd round of drinks. I came here two weekends ago and experienced some of the worst service I've ever encountered. I was sat at the bar and handed a menu by the hostess. No one at the bar acknowledged me, so I ordered food and a drink using the QR code. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I got up to pour myself some water since no one offered. A nice man (who seemed to be a regular) sat down next to me during that time and was immediately greeted and served by the staff -- which made the lack of attention toward me even more noticeable. After about 25 minutes, I stopped a passing waiter to ask about my food/drink. She was able to notify the kitchen and bar. a girl from the bar then came up to me to see my receipt and ask what drink i ordered (and no apology was offered??) I waited another 5 minutes then my food arrived and my drink followed shortly after. it was all mid and not worth the wait lol I understand restaurants can get busy, but this felt less like being short-staffed and more like simple inattentiveness. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I won't be returning and don't recommend unless you're just going for the view. read more

Last night 4 of us went to Gaucho's for a special dinner coordinated with Bulleit Whiskey/Bourbon! It was fantastic. The menu got a little out of order in the beginning but was no big deal. It was a 4 course menu with Gravlax; Scallops; Lamb Chops; and Flan. Each course was paired with a Bulleit drink. Gravlax & Bulleit 10 year; Scallops & Bulleit Sunset Cocktail; Lamb & an Old Fashioned; Flan & 10 year Rye. Carlos was the representative for Bulleit and did a great job recounting the history of Bulleit (been around since the 1830's) to its current day offerings. Beautiful view, clean restaurant and parking was easy.The order system is confusing as they have QR codes on the table but then a server takes your order. The food was mediocre at best, and our order was wrong.But it was hot so we ate it. The 1 server and 1 bus boy were running around as the manager just sat on his but and did nothing as he can see the staff was in the weeds. i am gonna chalk it up to an off day. They were under staffed and the bad manager did not helping his staff.I still tipped well as it is not the staffs fault! read more

Let me start by saying this: the views are doing a lot of heavy lifting here. Absolutely stunning. Ocean breeze, beautiful scenery... it's giving "this could've been a 5-star experience." And baby, shoutout to our server Kristen (I believe that was her name), because she was sweet, pleasant, and clearly doing her best in what felt like a very... chaotic situation. Now--let's talk. The garlic butter fries? Don't play with me. Those were GOOD. Crispy, flavorful, seasoned like somebody's grandmother was in the back saying, "Taste that again." Loved them. The espresso martini? Eh. She showed up, but she didn't make an entrance. I've had better, but I've also had worse, so we'll let her live. Parking? A mess. But it's the beach, so I'm not even going to hold that against them. What I will gently side-eye... is being served what tasted like tap water in small plastic cups. I'm a little bougie--give me a real glass so I can feel hydrated and respected. Now here's where I had to start blinking slowly... It took an hour to get our food. An. Hour. And not a peaceful, "we're sipping and chatting" kind of hour. The kind where you start wondering if the chef went fishing for your meal personally. On top of that, I had to ask about my espresso martini three separate times--only after noticing a group that came in after us already had their drinks and appetizers. Oh? So we're skipping tables now? Interesting. And then... my entrée. I ordered the brunch steak and potatoes, and when I tell you that steak said nothing... I mean not a whisper of seasoning. Not even a suggestion. And the chimichurri? Equally quiet. Just vibes. No flavor, no personality, just... present. Overall, this place has all the makings of something special--the views, a kind server, and those fries (again, don't play with those fries). But the timing, attention to detail, and flavor? They need a team meeting. Would I come back? Maybe... but I'm coming for the fries, the view, and a little prayer. read more
