My first visit to Gaucho Beach was such a great experience! The old-school R&B music created the perfect vibe, the weather was beautiful, and the view from our booth made it even better. Our server, Yesi, truly elevated the entire experience. She was warm, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu. She recommended the Nikkei ceviche and the mussels to start, and both were absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and the perfect appetizers. For my entrée, I went with her recommendation of the ribeye, and I'm so glad I did. It was cooked perfectly, incredibly juicy, and easily one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. What impressed me most was Yesi's attentiveness. Even while managing several tables, she consistently checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. Her genuine hospitality made us feel well taken care of throughout the meal. I highly recommend Gaucho Beach for a girls' night, date night, or any special occasion. Came for the advertised R&B brunch, the service and ambience fell short of a good time. Staff at the bar was not helpful when ordering drinks- took about 20-30mins while we waited for a table When we were seated upstairs, there was no R&B music playing as it was originally advertised. Not sure if that's only isolated to downstairs that would've been good to know as other guest around us expressed their disappointment as well. The waiter was not attentive at all. He took our order, but wouldn't check in. We'd have to flag him down for more drinks. Upon initially arriving we noticed you can order via the QR code provided on the tables. We did. Another waiter came by once and every single time we attempted to get his attention he purposefully ignored us. This was quite frustrating seeing we were waiting on food and drinks. Came here after a bike ride with friends. Loved the ceviche and the bread with chimichurri sauce is always so good. Wish it came with the meal like it does at the other gaucho location but the meal was so delicious and loved every bite. Wish they had their gaucho beers available like it was listed on the menu but we will definitely come backs again to try them. Some of our food came out at different times like the bread came out at the end and our friends food came out late. Such a cool spot right on the beach - we pulled over at Gaucho Beach (separate from café) for delicious Argentinian dining on our bike ride from Naples to Shoreline Village. Our waiter Bang helped us narrow down the extensive choices on the menu. The Ceviche Nikkei, chunks of ahi tuna with plenty of cucumber and onions was like a large bowl of poke. The Pechuga a la Brasa chicken was grilled perfectly with chimichurri on the side and awesome mashed potatoes. We loved our table overlooking the ocean front bike path. There is a second story outdoor dining area open for evenings that promises a great view of the oil islands, Queen and port. We now want to ride again for a sunset dinner. read more

I finally made it Gaucho Beach restaurant on Sunday for the first time, I had reservations for 1 only, when i got there the lady on check in could not figured out about my reservation, she put me at bar, when i did ask for table, she told be scanned QR code to order food and drinks, I was almost completed with my order when the bartender finally came to me, he told me don't order QR order through me, after being 10 minutes he tells me that, I ask for beer and guacamole and chips to start off, it took over 5 minutes to get a beer, the beer was warm not cold enough, I put my food order in, i told bartender the beer was warmer, i still finished the beer because I was thirsty, I ask him make me a nice cold margarita and i told him what type of tequila i want, he told no problem, i got you, he said, ten minutes i reminded him, I'm still waiting for Margarita, he completed forgot about me, just a reminder I was sitting in the front of him, my food came the lady that drop it off, I got attention to tell her that i need utensils, she walked away from me never came back, after more than 5 minutes got attention of the bartender that i needed utensils, i finally got my utensils eight minutes after my food was served in the front of me, as time when on i ask 2 bartender for a glass of water, both of bartender forgot about me, i finally got a glass water after the 3rd attempt, when i ask to pay for my check, i noticed the bartender had mark the percentage of tip that he wanted, that should be up to costumers how much to leave as a tip not the bartender or server, I was very disappointed at service staff, i noticed looking around the bar are , the bartender's were catering to local people that were just for few beers or drinks, i spent $153 on myself plus i gave him 20% tip, the place amazing vibes been next to sand, the food was good, but the service was not good enough. I bring this to management team for problem could be fix, if don't say anything about, the problem will continue. read more

Ok my plate was ok but all and all but NOT worth the wait. You can rarely find parking in the tiny lot. You're better off parking through the Linden lot. The wait was just over an hour and our food also took about an hour and they forgot my skirt steak. Decided not to order drinks because it took way too long for everything and new my fave drink was just a short drive away. I got the brunch chilaquiles and my friend got the fish and chips... she hated her dry, no flavor plate. I probably won't return. The music was good but it was a playlist, no Dj. Disappointed in the service we received at Gaucho today. My friends and I are here every Friday, they know the staff and have built a relationship with them. Today, for a World Cup game, my cousin and I arrived when they opened to secure a good table. We were successful. We know the burden of customers being at a restaurant all day, so we made sure to order and make sure the business was still making money from us and tipping every hour. All this to say, once the first game was over, we were kicked out! We were told that we could not wait for the next game to start (mind you, the game we were obviously waiting for). Daniel, the manager, failed to disclose this information after racking up a $200+ bill. It's upsetting knowing a place that we enjoy spending time at would wait last minute to inform us of information like this, knowing that we planned to stay there for the later game. Yelp asks, what could this business improve? Change management (again) and maybe respect your loyal customers/locals. read more

The location is great, they had two big screens to watch the game, nice music vibes. The food was average, and below average. we had the shrimp taquitos and the fish and chips. I definitely do not recommend the fish and chips the food had no seasoning, the fish was greasy and soaked in oil, the chips were just saggy. They were nice enough to redo the fish, but it really did not make much difference. They did not have any of their beer specials. The taquitos were ok. Definitely do not recommend any seafood option,maybe one will have better luck with the burger options read more

Matias definitely took care of us when we here on the patio for a pre wedding celebration. The staff and crew of Gaucho Beach made sure our celebration was great. Come here for the view, not the food. I have been wanting to try this place ever since it opened years ago, but I just never got around to it. They are famous for their empanadas, but they do not start serving empanada until 11 am. I arrived right when they opened shop at 8 am with my dog. I ordered the sandwich de miga, which was nicely toasted but it was extremely simple--just a few slices of deli turkey and melted cheese. There was no spread, sauce, or any other filling. This is something that anyone could put together in less than five minutes at home. It tasted okay, but perhaps I should have tried their coffee or smoothie. There was condensation on all of the outdoor furniture, making it hard to find a dry place to sit. I managed to find a dry spot in the shade, and I tied my dog to an adjacent table while I ate my sandwich. You do have to step over detritus from adjacent homeless encampment in the immediate surrounding, but the dining area within the patio was clean. read more

Went to GB to watch the USA v Australia soccer game. GB refused to show the English broadcast of a game between 2 English speaking teams. When asked about this the staff said "because it's an Argentine restaurant" this ignores the fact that the menu is in English, the marketing materials are in English. Holy Crap! How does this plate get good reviews. It is louder that a 747 at takeoff thrust inside. You can not hear anybody but loud drunks and it was 7 pm. Food was very average and trying to be clever. Terrible salad and had some tacos that I could not eat. Server was trying so hard for a tip and being clever. How about this tip" Never pet a burning dog" Will not be going back to this trap. I can not think of one good thing to say as even the bathrooms need a code to get in and they smelled like an open grave! Avoid like the plague. I was pretty disappointed with my experience here. When we arrived, there was no host present for about 10 minutes, which made things feel really disorganized right from the start. When the woman finally showed up, attitude came off as rude and unwelcoming, like we were an inconvenience rather than guests. The overall vibe of the place just felt off between the lack of attention and the negative energy. The music was good and the view spectacular but couldn't even convince us to dine in we left to yard house instead. Unfortunately, first impressions matter, and this one missed the mark. read more

We love Gaucho Beach! Our waitress, Kamiah, was amazing--so friendly and attentive, and she provided excellent customer service. We've been here multiple times, and Kamiah has been the best server so far. We live just down the street and always bring our friends here for great food and drinks. I highly recommend the mussels, lomo saltado, bread with chimichurri, breakfast burger, espresso martini, and strawberry basil margarita, just to name a few. They also have a great happy hour! The beachfront vibe is absolutely beautiful. You really can't go wrong with the atmosphere, food, or drinks here. Gaucho Beach has become one of my favorite spots for breakfast or brunch or really anytime. It is located in downtown long beach. Parking entrance off of Shoreline drive at Ocean ave. Must Pay for parking using the passport park app. The restaurant is an open air concept, right on the boardwalk with views of the shoreline, The Marina, the Queen Mary, and the old Spruce Goose dome. The fairly large space has a beautiful modern tropical vibe and is popping with positive energy and great music. The music is loud which adds to the ambiance. There is a roof top lounge that opens around noon and is available both for food and drinks. The menu is simple but tastefully designed with something for everyone. They also have a bar and a great drinks menu. The service is excellent. Gio, the chef himself delivered the food to our table while doing some personal dance moves and introduced himself. Really fun! Both people in my party had the Lobster omelette. The eggs were fluffy and as light as air. The Lobster and the aioli sauce were a great compliment. Even the Greek side salad was so tasty. For Dessert, my cousin and i shared the Flan which was light with a distinct caramel taste but not too sweet. We kept watching the servers passing by with one beautiful dish after another. Overall great experience!!! We will be back for sure to hang out on the roof top and order some more delicious food. I highly recommend Gaucho Beach. read more
