Gazebo Cafe is a open air cafe very close to the French Market, this place is very loud and popping with that NOLA feeling, the atmosphere is so high and electrifing with a live band pumping out the sounds, it is right next to a small historic park. This was the perfert spot to come and chill after shopping, we ordered the cat fish po boy, the shrimp po boy and salads and gumbo, the food took a while to come out, but everything was delicious, this place was so crowded but we were check up on about three times...."working on that tip"This is a covered cafe, with fan's and heater's in the ceiling.

Music was great, and the atmosphere right next to a small park was beautiful. The sampler was delicious and so worth it. Out po boys were less than amazing, but that's ok, we came around the time the kitchen is about to close.

Gazebo Cafe is known for their many flavors of frozen ice cream daiquiris! You can order up at the kiosk/booth and they blend it up right in front of you! And it tastes like an indulgent boozy dessert. I had the banana split and I wasn't sure if the flavors were going to go together well, but it was unique and delicious! It also had a respectable amount of alcohol in it. My husband got a pina colada daiquiri and it was really good too. We just grabbed seats right by the music and the vibes were just right. The only thing was that the service wasn't super friendly. But I'd definitely get some more daiquiris here again the next time I'm staying in the French Quarter!

Service- 15 minute wait Drinks- hurricane was very strong with liquor. Had to stir to make it taste like a fruity drink. Still very strong. Mango drink- couldn't taste liquor at all. It taste like a frozen fruit drink.

After a while of walking around the French Market on a nice weekend morning, Chas and myself got a bit thirsty. The Gazebo at the French Market offered a stand for a fairly quick drink rather than having to go into a restaurant and order off a menu and wait. Chas was feeling a bloody Mary and I got myself a Banana Split frozen daiquiri. I tried Chas' Bloody Mary and it had good flavor and a nice little pop of spice. Nothing overbearing, just letting you know it was there. No frills on this one, not like other spots with fried shrimp and stuff hanging off them haha, but a tasty drink. My drink however, was far far better. I would drink this thing everyday for the rest of my life. I'm not sure how much alcohol was actually in it, but the flavor was on point. Definitely Didn't Suck!

I have passed this establishment many times during previous trips to New Orleans! My friend wanted to rest as we had been walking around for about 5,000 steps in the area! We stopped here because the band was playing and we needed a refreshing drink! My friend got the Rum Runner and she enjoyed and I shared the drink with/her! The service was adequate to be a busy outdoor cafe!

This was our first meal on our trip after landing in New Orleans and it definitely hit the spot! We grabbed some gumbo fries and it was so flavorful. The gumbo was very well seasoned, the chicken wasn't dry and each ingredient seemed to hold its own flavor. Yum. The live music was a bit loud but definitely added to the ambiance. It was a little confusing at first, we weren't sure if there was a specific spot we were supposed to go to to get seated. It seemed like the servers kind of just swam around the crowd of people asking if they wanted a seat. If you have cash, great, if not there's a small fee!

Great daiquiris, blended to perfection. Walk up to the window, place your drink order and head out with a delicious daiquiri. I tried the orange creamsicle is was so good, reminded me of a push up pop, loaded! Service was great! There's seating right outside, you can be seated, and enjoy some delicious food from the cafe menu or head out for a stroll and sip in the French Market!

For several decades, I've come here for one thing --- The Frozen Grasshopper Famous for their Frozen Ice Cream Daiquiris, The Gazebo's Grasshopper is made for mint chocolate chip ice cream lovers, using creme de menthe and chocolate syrup. Delivers a nice refreshing punch to any part of your day. (They also make an amazing Mocha Almond Freeze) No matter who is tending bar, they are always friendly, professional, and efficient, making sure to tap every bit of what's left in the blender into your cup! The Gazebo is an unmistakable landmark, with plenty of outdoor seating, live music, a full menu and in close proximity to the French Market, Cafe' du Monde, and Central Grocery (home of the original Muffaletta).

A mixed group of adults and teens were here over the Thanksgiving holiday. Wait staff was friendly and efficient and had great recommendations. I enjoyed the live music and strong to-go drinks.

Stopped by for drinks after hearing the live music down the street. They have a patio that's enclosed with clear tarp with a lot of seating. Good for group of 4-5 max per table. The menu has a bunch of cool options for drinks- both alcoholic and non alcoholic (like spiked hot chocolate, coffee&liquor drinks, drinks with ice cream, etc.) They also have a food menu with sandwiches and appetizers. When we sat down, a waiter came by immediately to take our order and was super nice!! The band was playing songs from a variety of decades and genres, with some jazz improv in between. The weather was cold and rainy, but the enclosed space and heaters made it super manageable! Will have to come back and try their food at another time! It's also located next to the french market if you want to shop amd support local artists!

Great place for a quick lunch in the quarter! Great weather, great Bloody Mary, and great band playing in the background. Stopped by for a quick snack and drink to enjoy the sun and music. The pickle Bloody Mary didn't disappoint. Were did the sampler platter for an app and gumbo. Both were very tasty.

Burgers my sister loved! I went for the salad and onion rings and wow! Yep all good!

3 stars for the music only. The food and service here is below average. Go eat elsewhere, but stay for the live music.

Do you like a plate of food that speaks classy without punching you in the wallet, and servers who don't hover, but can answer even the most random questions you could have about the stuff on your plate? Look no further, friend. Right off the bat, after arriving on a Friday around 4:45 PM we were seated promptly, given water and the tastiest little sweet yeast rolls ever (the tops actually crackled when you squish them you guys), and made our bevvie choices. Tonic with lime for me (I'm behaving rn) and an Old Fashioned for wifey. Killer. We skipped the appetizer course and ended up ordering off the specials menu for both meals. She got braised brisket with deviled egg potato salad (fantastic!) and I got grilled Amberjack with roasted Brussels, topped with pickled peppers, onion, capers, and a drizzle of olive oil and Crema. Did I mention this place has a rustic atmosphere, and cozy feel, AND a Michelin recco without a dress code required?!? We had Lemon Buttermilk Icebox pie for dessert... MY GODS. This pile of words I just typed doesn't do this place justice. Chef Link has got something special going here, and his butcher shop next door is totally groovy too. I can't rave enough about this place, and I wish it wasn't so dang far from Texas, but hey, it's just another in a list of damn fine reasons to come visit the fine folks of NoLa again.

I've never had crawfish and seeing it was crawfish season we were destined to be here. We built out our own seafood boil, which included, 1lb shrimp head off, 2 soft shell crab clusters, 1lb crawfish, corn, potato, and sausage. Let's just say we left with a pretty big leftovers box We ordered the hot house flavor and do not regret it one bit! Our server was so kind to show us how to peel and eat the crawfish and honestly it was so fun!! I will definitely be back next time in New Orleans!! One quick note I will say that I learned from a local that I wish I knew before this feast (And you should double check with staff if this info is correct). Most seafood boil places in the area when they have headless shrimp it is farmed and brought in from outside retailers where if you get head-on it's from local ships in the area/fresh caught. Apparently they've been struggling and if you want to support New Orleans local fisherman then go for the head-on shrimp. Again double check with staff if their head-on shrimp is local cuz I learned this information after visiting.

Took 30 min into the meal to receive the gumbo we ordered. Server would disappear for 20/30 min increments. As our meal we ordered snow crab slam - the shell was seasoned but meat was bland.
