    Blueberry pie

This place was great! Our server was very friendly, Sara, and overall we had a solid bar harbor meal here. We had lobster, chowder, lobster roll, Cobb salad, and blueberry pie. Their pie crust was really amazing, I'd say the best slice I had. Their clam chowder and lobster roll 2nd best I had In bar harbor.

Despite the huge tourist population in the summer, there was not wait for Geddy's, it was crowded but the waitstaff was very efficient and attentive. I had a really nice salad and New England Clam Chowder, my friends had pizza which they liked. I like a place with a lot of menu options and this fit the bill. And they have a nice gift shop below.

This place was my boys favorite spot and we ended up going here twice while in Bar Harbor. Is it probably touristy? Yes. Did they seat us immediately, have a wide variety of options for everyone, and have great service? Also yes! The kids meals come on frisbees, which they can use at the park across the street. The first time I had the ahi tuna tacos which were light and fresh. The second time I got the poke bowl, which was so good! Fresh, light, and veggie filled. My husband had the chicken sandwich and the fish and chips, he loved both. We also had the calamari. The kids had Mac n cheese and buttered noodles. They have a big Shirley temple drink that my son loved too. Lots to look at as well!

Easy and satisfying spot in the heart of Bar Harbor! We got seated, ordered, and received our food so quickly which was amazing after a long day at Acadia. I would definitely recommend the pizza and the fish and chips, those were winners for sure. The lobster roll and the clam chowder were delicious in the mini lobster bake, though the blueberry tart was unfortunately a little burnt.

I actually loved Geddy's. I know it's a tourist establishment, but, we are tourists and they had a wonderful menu and ambiance. We requested to sit by the window to have my birthday lunch and loved watching the sun set over the water. This is in a prime spot right by the wharf and has a gorgeous view of the water by the windows, but has a great bar and more seating in the back. Menu is huge with sandwiches, fish, pizzas, salads, etc. We went with the warmed brown butter lobster roll and a margarita pizza add sausage. My husband is a pizza guy - has it like 5x a week - so he's picky. He loved this pizza and said it was really top tier. I also thought it was very good - crust and toppings all great and cooked well. Sometimes margarita pizzas are runny due to less cheese/sauce ratio but this one was good and crust was yummy. The lobster roll was a different way to have it - I usually have it in the mayonnaise sauce chilled, this one was warmed up with brown butter on a delicious bun. Very good. They have 3 different lobster rolls on the menu to satisfy whatever the craving/need. For desset - we chose the chocolate death parfait. It was SO good. Not something I would usually get bc it was so heavy - but we were in town for my birthday so, treat yo self! Layers of chocolate cake, dense white marscapone cream and chocolate mousse with caramel and toffee chunks. Yeah, sign me up for that. Don't forget to visit their gift shop directly underneath and off to the side - it's huge! It actually has far more than the standard cup and t-shirt or hat. Expect loads of gifts and souvenirs and some awesome t-shirts. We got more than a few things in this surprise shop. 100% recommend this place.

Busy bar / restaurant on the main drag. Service was attentive but not very friendly. Food was ok, we had the haddock sandwich and a chicken sandwich. Nothing to write home about

Fast service, reservations and walk ins welcome, the haddock was amazing and they also have really good pizza. A little upset they got rid of the whoopie pie. I was looking forward to trying that. Our server wasn't the friendliest but everything else was great. Check out the apparel shop underneath!!

Stopping at Geddy's for lunch has become a family tradition and it always feels like coming home. Our party of 12 was seated with no wait on a Monday afternoon. The lobster stew and clam chowder were outstanding and the fig, prosciutto and gorgonzola cheese pizza was a uniquely delicious. The service here is, and has always been, top notch.

The food was* really good, but the insane service and how genuinely nice everyone was still makes this a spot worth going to. The staff went out of their way to be welcoming and attentive, and that kind of experience honestly stands out more than the meal sometimes. You leave remembering the people more than the food. My apologies I corrected wasn't to was. The food was really good Sorry for the error

Here we are having some dinner before heading back to Camden for the night.. Kris ordered the fish n chips supposedly a specialty & I ordered lobster stew. The best lobster stew I've ever had. Every chunk of lobster melted in my mouth. The broth was a very rich cream. FYI: I'm stuffed to the gills, I couldn't even eat the luscious blueberry pie that I really wanted but I'm a good doobie & held back. Our waitress was excellent her name was Ada

All great! Great butter lobster roll. Comes with fries. 5/5 Regular Fries Can be swapped out for sweet potato fries that come with a special cranberry ketchup -a little sweet and spicy. One of the kids had a burger. 5/5 Able to accommodate nut allergy with zero issues. They even had an allergen book and pulled it out for us to look at. Sarah was the young lady helping us. She was friendly and helpful and AMAZING!! 10 stars for her! Zero wait. The food was great. But the best part is the staff were Welcoming and Kind. They are the face of a business. We felt really --welcome! And not like a major annoyance for them. Very grateful this restaurant exists in Bar Harbor!! 10/5 Highly recommend. Esp for folks with food allergies. We will be back!! Our friends who used to live in Bar Harbor mentioned that this used to be one of their favorites places to hang out!!!

Such a fun place! Unique atmosphere, very friendly staff, and good food. My friend tried the blueberry wicked beer and LOVED it! everything was tasty, just nothing over the top for what you get with a higher price.

Got a reservation for our last night in Maine and as soon as me and my family walked in we knew it would be great food. The atmosphere was fun and there were so manny cool decorations inside. Everyone in my family loved there seafood dinners we had and if we are in Bar Harbor again we well definitely be back

We showed up on a Saturday at 5 o'clock end of August and got right in at Annex which is the same menu and attached. Waiters were helpful and kind, amazing people! Live music was going on at 7 but we left right before, awesome vibes doors to the outside open so it was basically an open air concept since it was a beautiful day. Clam chowder: super delicious and passed the spoon test! (I like my chowders thick so a spoon should float on top) Bangin Shrimp: seasoning and sauce were bangin! Great stuff and the buttery grilled flamed pita added a beautiful touch Cadillac fries: crispy fries with melty cheese, hot sauce, bbq sauce, chipotle mayo and toooed with bacon. We inhaled these. Mac + rac: fall off the bone rips and the Mac was killer. Mixed in with street corn added a great change up and all went so well together. Larger shells cooked perfectly and super cheesy, this was a great dish. Highly recommend, wish I could have tried the Blueberry Pie because that looks insane, was way too full after crushing the other dishes and washed down with a blueberry beer and an extra dirty martini!

However, we weren't too tired to eat it, so we had the food delivered from Side Street Cafe. So glad we did it that way cuz it was terrific... and easy to arrange ! My hubby ordered their Cubano sandwich while I ordered a cheeseburger. He loved his Cubano, which came with a side of mac 'n cheese. The mac 'n cheese was light in flavor, I think because of the kind of cheese used. I prefer more flavor, but it wasn't bad either. My( burger was quite large, and it was really tasty... very nicely seasoned beef patty, and it had all the things I like... cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle.... and catsup. I was very happy. It came with fries, but I had my fill of fries with all the lobster rolls I had ordered along the way, so I didn't eat them. Plus, there was a slice of blueberry pie calling out to me, so I wanted to blow my calories with the pie... and so glad I did cuz it was another spectacular piece of blueberry pie. Against my will, I split it with my hubby. Lol. It was a great way to end our meal. (Turns out we never got dinner that night cuz we were so full from such a nice lunch.) Side Street Cafe is definitely going on my radar if we're ever fortunate enough to return to Bar Harbor.

Off the beaten tourist path and open year round, PP lives up to the reviews and hype. We made a mistake our first night in Bar Harbor going to a tourist trap and getting a rubbery lobster roll and sad chowder. I did a bit of research online and found Peekytoe and was SO glad for it. While you don't get a water view, but a cute walk down the main drag, it is WELL worth the excursion AND HOW. My husband said his Crabby Patty was the best crab cake sandwich he ever had. I agreed in as I had the cake as an app. I also got a Halibut dish with pickled fiddleheads (a local green I might liken to okra for lack of other reference) and blistered tomatoes. It was moist, well cooked fish, amazing sides with phenomenal heightening elements. We also enjoyed our cocktails immensely. GO if you are a foodie and don't want a lame wannabe roll with some kids grilled cheese sides, DO this spot. SO well worth it. PS to manament - I know you do a brunch. MAKE SURE YOU DO A CRABCAKE BENEDICT. Your crab cakes are divine and with a slight seared crunch. Ideal. You can even do a lemon-fiddlehead or blistered tomato HOLLANDAISE. I'd be IN IN as I am sure most people would. The vinegary elements from the fiddleheads to (I think) my husband's pickled onion atop his crabby patty MADE the CRABCAKES THE STAR.

When asked for the WiFi password at the beginning of the meal, she said "I'll ask" and never got back to us until the end of the meal, when we had to remind her. When taking our orders, she specifically asked if we wanted cold butter or warm butter on our lobster. While my friends wanted cold butter, they got warm. Food was subpar. While the price for lobster here is cheaper than most places, my lobster ended up being very rubbery. Partner ordered a pineapple ginger juice, and it was VERY heavy on the ginger and tasted "off", like drinking kimchi. I didn't care for the sweet potato mash, it did not go with the dish (lobster) at all, but the cucumbers were ok. Portions were uneven. My friends got the same lobster as I did, and yet they got significantly less lobster. Finally, while I know this wasn't a restaurant problem, I feel as they failed to act accordingly. One of my friends went to go to the restroom, and saw a man laying down on the floor. Staff were notified, but the staff seemingly did nothing; we asked the staff for an update and they just shrugged us off (because we were concerned for that man). If you're wanting to try lobster for the first time, DONT come here - spend a little bit extra on more reputable places, because this place was not it.

My husband, on his noble quest to sample every lobster bisque in Maine, declared this one the worst of the trip -- and trust me, the man takes bisque seriously. My beet salad with picked lobster was actually quite good, fresh and nicely balanced, which saved the meal from total disappointment. Service matched the décor -- polite enough but not exactly engaged. It had that subtle "we're doing you a favor" energy, which really pairs best with... no one's martini. Speaking of which, I had to remind our server to actually add the olives to mine. Small details, big impact, friends. In conclusion: go for the view, not the vibe. There's potential here, but it needs a little love -- and a lot more attention to the bisque.
