    Bone Broth Soup
    Jonathan L.

We decided to do a road trip and found this noodle place in a small plaza. The front is decorated with a small noodle cart which I thought was a nice touch. The decor inside was standard and our party was accommodated with no wait time; however, there were a few issues I had that didn't really hit the mark for me. I ordered the Hu Tieu Kho which comes with a noodle bowl with sauce, side veggies, and a bowl of bone broth. The bone broth was extremely bland and I wasn't sure if it was my tastebuds, but everyone in our party said the same thing; it was almost like drinking warm water. The Noodle bowl itself was decent, however I did notice that some items like the Quail eggs, weren't the freshest quality. The sauce for the Hu Tieu wasn't particularly amazing but I wouldn't say it's bad at all, just decent. Service wasn't great nor bad, a few times I had to waive down the waiter just to get some refills on our waters (we were a party of 10). Same thing for the bill whenever we were ready to checkout. However, They were nice enough to move some of the party to another table since the table they gave us was too small. Overall, I don't think this is a bad place to try Vietnamese food around West Minister but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again.

Service here is pretty fast and friendly! I've gone here a few times with my family and there are certain dishes we like from here. Our go-to favorite is the Mi Thập Cẩm, which comes with a lot of different things. I get it as a dry noodle and really like it. Recently, we also tried the Cơm Gà Hải Nam, which comes with half a chicken with rice. The shredded chicken comes mixed with onions and nước mắm (fish sauce). Pretty tasty. We ordered one of their fried rices and the portion was disappointing thought. I would not get that again. Other than that, pretty satisfied with the other two entrees!

Came her with my son for lunch and it was good. We ordered egg, rice noodle and it was good. I would come back and try something else. Here you can have it dry or in it with soup. There is so much in O C places like this, and so far this place is good then some other places that I have tried. Service here was good, nice and friendly. Ambience here has couple of booth table, chairs and tables and the decorations was good as well. We came in around 1:00pm it wasnt busy as much, and there Wasnt any waiting time as well.

There was a short wait upon arrival, but the waitlist went quick. Restaurant is a decent size but with lots of tables crammed in. Menu is large. Our server was very friendly and helpful. Our food came out hot and fresh with lots of veggies. The sides of pickled chili and garlic were very complimentary to our noodles. Definitely would like to come back for more =0)

I got the mi thap cam and it was decent. The broth was fairly bland and did not live up to the hype I was hearing from my family who are native Californians. The establishment was extremely packed when I went so there is a clipboard for you to reserve your spot with your name and party size. It is decorated really nicely in the front. The service was great considering how busy it was with us getting seated & food coming out fairly quickly.

I wanted to try this place despite it having only 3.5 star ratings, which actually kinda surprised me as the food was actually delicious! I had Special Egg Noodle Soup which has everything. I like that they were generous with the amount of toppings. The bowl is a little smaller than average, but it was the perfect size for me as I don't really eat that much. Overall I enjoyed it. My BF had Shaken Steak with Pasta. He liked it, although I thought the pasta could've been marinaded a bit more for more flavor. But other than that I thought it was pretty decent. The pasta took a bit longer to come out, and I guess one of the servers felt bad and told us it was on the house! Yay!! Our final check was pretty much just for my noodle - the pasta AND Vietnamese Coffee were comped! So we really appreciated the gesture and will definitely come back again.

I'm not sure why this restaurant is always so crowded. I came here for lunch and the place was packed. I ordered the Hủ Tiếu Nước Thập Cẩm, and it was nothing special. The portion was disappointing, with very few toppings, mostly just a lot of broth and noodles! The cơm gà wasn't good either. Usually, at other places, cơm gà comes with fried rice that has a nice golden color, good aroma, and well balanced seasoning. But here, they served plain white rice , lacking flavor, I'm not enjoyable. The chicken was also dry. At $19.45, I felt very overpriced for what I got. The restaurant was clean, but extremely noisy because it was so crowded. Service was fast, though. Parking was also easy to find when I visited.

It was a friend's recommendation and I'm so glad it was one of those, I'm so glad you shared this with me! We really enjoyed it we got number 10 and 12. Both came out hot with a good portion size. One is a small and the other a large. I enjoyed it with egg noodles and clear noodles, glad we had the option of mixing it. There wasn't as much egg noodle but I didn't mind it too much since we like the clear noodles. Veggies it comes with are crown daisies and bean sprouts. Soup on the side was ok, nothing to write home about however, I've been thinking about the noodles. Loved their combo of garlic, dried shrimp and little crispy pork skin pieces. I also enjoyed dipping into what I'd recommend is some soy sauce and vinegar with chili oil and green pickled garlic chilis. Chef's kiss. Be careful they're spicy! Loved the kick. The service was great. We were checked on consistently and the staff was friendly for us first timers. Will be back soon would definitely recommend them!

Servers were great and they were attentive! The food was mediocre, the portion was okkk? Not too little not too big. I enjoyed the dish but I wish there was no noodles and I wish there were more flavors. The dish felt a bit bland and only has a mild flavor.

Great service from start to finish! We were seated right away, and the staff even gave our son a bag of lollipops, which was such a sweet gesture. I ordered the mì hải sản, and the portion was very generous. Everything was delicious, and our whole family enjoyed the meal. We'll definitely be back!

Went in 2 days ago, I had the chicken salad with rice noodle instead of rice. The salad was lack of rau ram, they put rau ram in the salad because it is Hue^' style, but lately they cut down the green, add a few chop ngo` gai instead. When cashier asked, I told her my concerned the salad tasted bland due to had no rau ram. Today I order to go, not that no rau ram , they only put in one or two pieces of chop ngo` gai. Maybe this is going to be the last time I order this item, then they should change the name of the item, take the Hue^' style off the menu.

Food: Hủ Tiếu Thập Cẩm - broth is really good, soft noodles, yummy meat, loved the pork skin when it's crispy. There's a quail egg, squid, liver, and more. I loved adding veggies and jalapeños for spice to this dish. Hủ Tiếu Hoành Thánh - broth is so good! good amount of noodles and loved all the toppings. good wontons, good portion. Service: Standard service experience Ambiance: Warm cozy feel inside. Casual dining experience for some good Vietnamese food!

The wrappers had a nice bite, and the filling was juicy with that signature bouncy texture. We ended up ordering three bowls of Mì Sủi Cảo Khô, and everyone cleaned their bowls. The food was solid, but the service was pretty much nonexistent. The staff wasn't very friendly or attentive, although that's honestly something I've come to expect at a lot of places in Westminster. One thing that really stood out, though, was the condiment station. The chili oil, fresh chilies, and sauces looked dirty, and after tables were cleaned, the serving spoons and sauce dishes weren't replaced. I actually had to grab them from another table myself. Overall, I'd come back for the food because it was genuinely good, but the service and overall atmosphere could definitely use some improvement.

However, I'd encourage anyone who hasn't had the dish before to try it if you're a fan of a thick starchy broth and wonderfully chewy udon noodles. There are different meat options to go along with the soup - crab, pork, etc., or any combination of. There's also a "light" broth option which is less thick but equally delicious. Aside from the soup, the egg rolls here are deliciously crisp and crunchy as they're made with rice paper instead of the standard egg roll wrapper. The restaurant is a great example of a hole-in-the-wall that's 100% worth trying. Expect to wait 20-30mins to be seated during normal dining hours due to the low room capacity and popularity of the restaurant (the food comes out really fast though!).

It's super casual inside with a very local vibe, and the kind of place where you come strictly for the food rather than a fancy setup. They're super well-known for their Bánh Canh, and for good reason--the thick, chewy tapioca noodles in that rich, comforting broth are incredible and easily the main event here. But surprisingly, their Phở Đặc Biệt is also excellent. The broth is deep and flavorful, the meat cuts are generous, and it easily competes with a lot of the dedicated phở spots around Little Saigon. To wash it all down, their Vietnamese iced coffee is a must--super strong, rich, and gives you that perfect, intense sweet-and-bold kick. Just a heads-up that the line can get pretty long, and the wait takes a while since they seem a bit understaffed. But once you finally get seated, the food comes out piping hot. There isn't much service here since they seem to be super short staffed but they do have delicious authentic Northern Vietnamese food so we absolutely will be back again!
