The outdoor seating area is nice for dinner as it's lit up with string lights. I put my name on the yelp waitlist but it seems like they're not using that right now because when I came in to check my spot, they were using a paper waitlist. We were seated after 5 minutes though. The downside of dining here is that they don't serve glasses of water. Bottles of water can be purchased, but seems overpriced so I just got a coke. If you come here, you should bring your own. Everything they use is disposable, which I understand it's to minimize any contamination. But I feel bad for all the plastic and styrofoam that will soon be in the landfills. I've had a roll similar to my roll before at other sushi restaurants and I'm not a huge fan of how thick the cucumber rind is for the roll here. Out of the rolls I ordered, I probably won't be re-ordering the my roll again. I really liked the sexy victoria roll. It had plenty of fish and the carpaccio sauce gave it a zesty flavor. I also liked the mucho grande roll but I did think that the amount of rice was a lot but I'd still order the roll again. I came in and ordered Ikura (salmon roe) handrolls, $9/roll and the size are super tiny. The salmon roe definitely not fresh, it's soggy and wet, like they leave in freezer for a while. They put too much soy sauce in it to over power the smell, and it's super salty and color really dark. For appetizers we have the gyoza (my daughters favorite) and toro on the rock. The toro on the rock was spectacular, it had the perfect combo of acidity/heat and the fish was super fresh, I would come back just for it. For mains my daughter had a bento with chicken teriyaki and mixed tempura. The chicken was moist and the sauce was not overly sweet, she ate it all. The hamachi delight roll was probably my favorite roll in recent memory. It had everything you were looking for and the garlic chips were a great burst of flavor. Josh and Daniel seem nice, but getting the sense Josh doesn't know what's going on. Since I'm still here waiting - figured I'd make an update. 35 mins late and going strong (on an $80 order that doesn't have to be cooked). Hit the 45 minute past-due mark. Been watching my 4x miso soups getting cold sitting on the counter for the last 30 minutes. Sure hope I get my food before they close. I ordered the mix tempura and went for hamachi and salmon sashimi and I'm SO GLAD I did!! Their sashimi was melt in mouth fresh and delicate - I was moaning out of pure joy - so unexpected given it's a restaurant in a mini mall. They sliced their salmon sashimi so thin that you really got to enjoy and savor the freshness and salmon flavor. The hamachi was so delicious as well - and their tempura was just the right amount - with a lot of variety - not oily with perfect coating and crunch! Hubby was very happy with his meal - the chicken katsu was tender and crunchy - and at first glance it looked like small portion but they had two layers of the chicken katsu - so it was a perfect amount. He loved his tuna sashimi but after sampling my sashimi's said he's going for the salmon next time and will pay the extra $2 for additional sashimi. Service was great - friendly and quick. Some rolls priced at over $17 bucks came out tiny as if the fish itself was starving skinny. The salmon on top was cut soooo thinly you could hardly taste it. I know Covid is hurting a lot of small businesses but charging more for less isn't the way. Most of their restaurants still offer what they advertise and they seem to be busier then ever. The edamame was over salted. The chicken karagge was dry dry dry. Served with ketchup! I have never seen ketchup in a Japanese restaurant until now. The service was excellent and we got our food in a reasonable amount of time. I really can't believe the quality of the fish and the absolutely phenomenal taste and presentation for a strip mall sushi joint. You really need to try this place out. We ordered five different things off the menu and I don't know what my favorite was - maybe all! Tempura was definitely a huge hit. 2 stars My family and I were craving sushi, but our go-to spot is closed on Sundays, so we decided to try Ginza Sushi. I was skeptical from reading some reviews, but I thought it still seemed ok. We were utterly disappointed by the food. The only reason I am giving Ginza 2 stars is that the service was good. The servers gave us a heads-up that they had a lot of orders, so take-out would take around 30 minutes. We appreciated the warning so that we knew when to pick up our order. We ordered 3 bento box dinner meals: Chicken Teriyaki with Mix Tempura - Chicken Teriyaki was very sub-par...the chicken was thin and chewy, and the sauce just tasted like the bottled ones from grocery stores - Mix Tempura was decent; it was soggy, but that was expected since we ordered take-out. Once I reheated it in the air-fryer for a few minutes, it was crispy again. Chicken Teriyaki with Tonkatsu - Tonkatsu was soggy too...but again, we got take-out; however, the meat was very dry - Beef Teriyaki with Tonkatsu Beef Teriyaki was described as "dry jerky" I don't think I need to say anything else... Rolls: Orange Blossom, Spider roll, Spicy Tuna Roll, Spicy Dragon The tuna and salmon weren't fresh and barely edible. I should've taken a picture of both because, just from the color, you could tell the fish wasn't fresh. I couldn't eat more than one piece of the orange blossom roll. The fish was literally mushy. I'm hoping I don't get food poisoning. Also, the wasabi was bright green, like neon green. It clearly isn't real wasabi, and I am afraid to know what it's even made out of. We had the - Chirashi Bowl - Hamachi Delight Roll - Climax Roll - Edamame - Tamago Nigiri - Inari Roll Everything was nicely packaged. All of the fish was fresh! Our favorite was the Hamachi Delight Roll. I would skip out on the Climax roll - it was more anti-climactic... not that it wasn't good but it didn't have any wow factor and tasted just okay. Most of the special rolls were spicy which I don't eat too much of so beware of the ingredients if that's important. I had just wanted something good to eat after work but I ended up with this. The Lion King roll consisting of avocado, imitation crab wrapped inside out with cooked salmon on top. There was no cucumber. I would assume that it would have came with cucumber as I have gotten it from other places, but I guess this place doesn't? As for the Spider roll, it was very underwhelming. The crab had a weird crunchy and hard skin around it while being wrapped. After two bites, I noticed that I had this weird grainy mush in my mouth. It definitely wasn't a pleasant feeling. It tasted old. I would not recommend either rolls. You also only get 5 pieces of the Spider roll for ~$15 dollars. Unfortunately I only have a picture of the Lion King roll, although there's another review of someone who ordered the Spider roll and Dragon roll, whereas their Spider roll looked just like mine.
