I would leave less than one star if I could. Service is horrible. Food takes forever to come out of the kitchen. There were 5 tables with 2 servers. One table got tired of waiting and left. We spent 2 hours for two small pizzas and one small half baked. Which by the way was wrong. He brought me a half BACON pizza. We finally get our bill and walk to the front to pay. The MANAGER came to the front. He looked at the bill and said I needed to take it to my server. Um...what!?!? You're the freakin manager!!! We just brought home a carryout deep dish pizza that was anything but deep. It was a tiny bit over 1/2 inch thick and barely fed our family of 4; I could have easily eaten half the pizza. The pizza from the Naperville location is twice as thick and we can only finish half of it. As a side note, the cashier wiped her nose with the palm of her hand before handling my card. Yuck! But we have to say, Dylan is our favorite! He's the best! He's friendly, accommodating and you can tell he cares about serving well. Stuffed pizza is good, same as other locations. Ordered the bruschetta app (takeout) and it only comes with four small life's of bread. Hardly enough to justify the $8 cost and not enough to even touch the amount of tomatoes. Disappointed especially since bread would be the least expensive item!! Ordered the margherita pizza twice and very disappointed both times!! They have obviously never eaten a real margherita pizza ever!! First time they didn't use buffalo mozzarella and shredded. Second time they used buffalo mozzarella but there was one small sliver of basil. Not even close to a margherita pizza. They should visit Italy or at least NY to get it right. For crying out loud there are recipes online that are better than what they make! I know this is a Chicago "style" pizza, then don't call it a margherita pizza as it does have a specific definition regardless of locale. Oh and this is supposed to be a super thin crust but the crust is about the same as every other regular thin crust pizza they make. Very disappointed and will stick to the stuffed pizza until the owners learn what a real Italian pizza is. read more

I was looking for a new pizza place to start ordering from since I recently moved to Oswego. I always loved Giordano's stuffed pizzas when I was a kid living in Glen Ellyn, so I was pretty excited to see one nearby. We didn't order deep dish this time, but we ordered a 'specialty' Hawaiian pizza (not my first choice, but my finance was craving one). We ordered the pizza for delivery and when the pizza arrived it was cold, over-cheesed, and bland. The sauce had no seasoning, the cheese was a cold 1/8 thick, rubbery layer blanketing the top, and the pineapple was sparse and most likely from a can. We actually ended up adding our own salt, basil, oregano, garlic powder over the entire pizza to try and make it a little enjoyable. While I can't speak for the deep dish, this cold, over-cheesed, under-seasoned pizza experience doesn't exactly make me want to take a gamble trying. read more

We were going to CA and my family out there asked us to bring stuffed pizza from Chicago because they miss it and can't get it out there everyday. I didn't want to try to drag pizza with me on the plane, ( I already almost missed the plane for being 2 ounces over on a hairspray bottle!) So , when I think of stuffed pizza, I think Giordanos, and they had a "ship a pizza" frozen online thing, which I did to surprise them. Delivered on time and OMG amazing !! I was stunned by the quality and it was like they just brought it out of the pizza oven and to the table at one of their restaurants! Yous guys know your pizza! Such great pizza, so distinct! The pizza is solid. A good meat and more stuffed pizza! The thing is like a brick it's so heavy and they are so generous on toppings. I must add that they recently hired more delivery drivers which has cut the delivery time nearly in half. I ordered a thin pizza and got it in about 35 minutes. I really enjoy Giordano's Pizza, but this particular location had a really bad smell. The smell was like they took a dirty mop and cleaned the floors. The table had that same smell. It's seems they are using old rags to clean the tables. To top my evening we ordered caesar salad and was told they ran out. read more

I'm confused about why there are so many lower reviews. I don't think I've ever ordered delivery from this location, but I have dined in several times. I've always received good service and awesome pizza! I've also tried a few appetizers and have enjoyed those as well. Pizza is good, the sauce is authentic. They have updated some items on menu and the bruschetta and calamari frita are very good. I had a previous bad experience with service at this location and management reached out to me, invited me back and made my family a great meal. I will definitely go back. read more

This has always been some of my favorite pizza, it's a classic. The problem here is the service. If you order over the phone, expect to be rushed off the call quickly and to probably have your order incorrect. If you dine in, it's a hit or miss with the servers. Sometimes you are lucky and get a great server and other times you get one who looks like he/she rather be watching paint dry. What keeps me coming back is the tasty pizza. Hopefully they work on their service and they will be a 5 star! read more

I'm from Cali and I have had a few diff type of Chicago pizza's including to name a few Lou Malnati's and Gino's east which are all really good but my fav so far has been Giordanos. This was our first time trying Giordano's. We were very impressed with the Chicago style deep dish! The crust underneath stayed very crispy, which surprised us. Our experience with that style of pizza is always hit and miss, but this time was definitely a hit! Our server, Dylan, was excellent! I understand the night before Thanksgiving is busy, but a call throughout the night telling me the restaurant was running behind would have been appropriate. I usually go to the Caton Farm location but was in the area had had a taste for a deep dish. We ordered a large sausage and it arrived within the usual wait time. I immediately noticed the sauce looked watery. After a couple of bites I noticed that the bottom crust was barely existent. I couldn't even pick it up with my fork. Plus it was slimy. Overall the entire pizza was thinner than a large sausage at the other location. We did say something to our waitress and she replied with she didn't know what the pizza was supposed to taste like because she is always on a diet. Needless to say, I will remain a Giordano's customer, but will definitely think twice before eating at this location again. read more

While I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Giordano's pie, i must admit to being disappointed with their limited-time-only special: Bratwurst Deep Dish Pizza. The flavors were not the issue, rather the fact that brats IN THE CASINGS are used (rather than loose meat). I found the casings became unchewable. Thankfully we carried out so this 'issue' could be dealt with discreetly. I'll stick with the regular deep dish FIVE STAR pie. read more

I spent 50.00 on a large pizza, half hawaian, half sausage, two cannolis and one small chopped salad. The pineapple on the pizza was in bits so small it looked like something already chewed and just spit out. VERY tiny and SPARSE bits of pineapple. The ham was almost non-existant. Cannoli's crust, all burned. The filling was CURDLED and tasteless. I am so annoyed and wish I had my money back. We have been very loyal customers since this local opened. We went there for dinner tonight and I about fell over when we got our bill. We were there four weeks ago; holy cow did they raise their prices in that time. It was $30 more tonight than it has always been for the exact same order. They have switched to Pepsi products which were $3/glass. The pop was flat and very syrupy. The new garlic bread was awful and twice as much as it used to be. Totally unacceptable in my book to spend $91 on a large pizza, an order of ravioli, 2 orders of garlic bread and 5 pops. The service was terrible. The server didn't even serve us our first slices of pizza and we had to hunt him down for anything we needed. Very disappointed!! We won't be back....Lou Malnatis will have all of our business from now on! read more

Just got home from picking up my medium deep dish pizza cooked "well done" half pepperoni,sausage, and jalepeno. The other half green peppers, onion, and pesto chicken. I have been a big fan of deep dish pizza and this is not the first time I've ordered take out at this chain. FIRST TIME I ordered at this Oswego location. First off they told me 45 min and it will be ready for pick up. Got there exactly at 45min and it was ready.. Perfect. That's where this ends. The bottom of the pizza was extremely mushy, not hard AT ALL. Even to lift the crust up to slide a fork or spatula underneath to pick up a slice would cause it to break apart. The jalepenos were not fresh at all. They tasted awful. My half that was supposed to have pepperoni in it barely had any at all. Literally dissected a slice of my side and it only had one pepperoni piece. Keep in mind I can easily distinguish between my side and my wife's due to me having jalepenos. The chicken on my wife's side of the pizza was barely cooked. I took one bite out of a piece and it was chewy and cold. Told her to throw the rest of it out. By far the worst pizza I have ever had and a waste of 28 Manager immediately calle me and apologized for the situation. Very professional and sympathetic. Thank you read more
