Will try another Gocha's first experience at this location didn't go well. Expected more better Service

Yes yes yes. Ok let me start off by saying that the service was hella cool. They was friendly and welcoming. We decided to sit outside. The dj had the right music in rotation. We kept dancing and singing along when our favorites came on. Even some people got up and did the Tamia line dance when her song came on. For appetizers I ordered the fried green tomatoes which came with crab on top. It was super good! For my meal I ordered the lobster shrimp & grits. It was bomb! Fire! Smacking!!! The lobster is fried. The shrimp is not. There's corn and tomatoes as well. The sauce complimented the meal very well. I didn't need to add any salt or pepper. Season was on point. To drink we had the margarita tower and 5 flavors. The tower was $125 and flavors are $2 each. Worth it if you have a large party. Tons of parking! Limited hours tho. But we didn't have a wait when we came. read more

Gocha's restaurant twice this week. Lunch was great. Fried fish and sweet potato fries. Fries could have been upgraded with powder sugar, but I ate all of them. Tabitha took care of us royally. This is one of my favorite places In Sandtown Plaza. Y'All know that already, right! read more

Finally got to try Gocha 's and am glad I did. ATL has a plethora of wing spots but none can compare to the most flavorful and perfectly cooked wings ever. The flavors of the other items were different and delicious. The only downside is the brussel sprouts. When they're boiled it's a hard pass for me. Service was somewhat slow but her amazing personality made up for it. The atmosphere was nice. The only complaint is that the music is so loud, I felt like I was yelling to converse. read more

If you are a lover of grits get ready for a big disappointment. Don't get me wrong the grits are delicious but the portion size is a complete joke. The size is just enough to feed a toddler. I've had the fish and grits twice and will never order it again because of the tiny amount of grits that's served with the fish. Please do better and stop cheating people out of grits. Especially since grits are so inexpensive. read more

This review is for Saturday, March 21, 2026 This was my third experience at Gocha's Tapas Bar, and I must say this was the worst experience that I received. My first experience was a Christmas Brunch that I had for my staff members, and it was great. The second experience occurred when I went inside and placed a to-go order, and it was great. However, my last experience with placing an online to-go order was horrible. When I went to pick the order up, I waited about 5-10 minutes and finally I had to inform someone that I was waiting for a to-go order. I was passed off on an employee who clearly was not interested in helping me. She went to the kitchen, and she never informed me of the order, but she proceeded to sit in the employee corner lounge and talk on her phone. I continued to sit and wait for someone to acknowledge me, but to no one took the time to see why I was in a restaurant sitting at a table for almost 30 minutes. Finally, I had to ask another employee who was drying silverware about the order. While everyone else seemed to be on break, she actually found the order sitting at the bar with no name on it. The food was lukewarm and once I returned home, we had to reheat the food. Previously, I had bragged to my family about the food; however, my grandson who is 11 said that he rated the food a 1 and that he did not want to try it again My daughter said that she was disappointed in the food, and I was very upset that I spent $80.00 plus on food that was below standards. The young lady that took the time to locate my food name was Aadya, I am not sure if that is the correct spelling, and I apologize to the young lady if I spelled it wrong, but if it was not for her, I probably would still be waiting for the food since others were busy in the employee lounge or going out the back door. read more

I had a wonderful experience. We actually where going to Gocha's breakfast bar but the location was being renovated. We were warmly greeted and given directions to Gocha"s Tapas along with 10% off coupons. Now the places was packed. What really grabbed my eyes every plate looked amazing. The dj was djing so it was a awesome vibe all ages even a place for the children to enjoy and the church folk was there too. We sat at the bar I ordered the fish shrimp and grits you talking absolute pleasure had my feet dancing so when the food makes you dance you know it's good! Shannon the bartender/vibe service was top tier and made our visit even more amazing. You gotta check all Gocha's spots out. Enjoy make sure you shout out Shannon she is normally at the breakfast bar. read more

Top it off with a MANDATORY 20% GRATUITY (also with no warning) for a check over $75. I've never heard of such a thing. A good Saturday brunch with a simple but varied brunch menu and nice options for seafood lovers and non seafood eaters as well. Different flavor mimosas which are a brunch hit. Our server Darius was awesome and very attentive and nice, even while also serving a very large party . The food was delicious and came out fast.
