The owner of this joint has no concept of customer service, customer retention or basic food freshness for that matter. He served food that had very clearly gone bad and then argued with me when I asked to have it replaced. I didn't complain, I just asked for a fresh version. Burgerlicious! Hmm...maybe I'm lucky or maybe I just have different taste buds from the previous two reviewers, but I actually enjoyed gogo burger. I agree that the beef patties didn't have much flavor but that's a plus in my book. Unlike a lot of other joints, these patties are fresh, unfrozen, and taste like beef and not some overpowering seasoning. There's a condiment bar so you can load your burger just the way you want it. It's clean, the service is fast, the price is right, and the burgers are good. What more could you really ask for in a burger joint? Give them a try and I'm sure you'll be glad you did. read more

It's not a great burger. It's not a terrible burger. No meal deal options, so the price is a little steep when you get fries and a drink with your burger--and who doesn't get fries and a drink with their burger? They have a condiment bar--kinda like Fuddruckers--but they don't have a fantastic selection of toppings. Everything looked fairly fresh in the cold table. The tomatoes were nice and ripe. The lettuce was just shredded iceberg, though. Argh. My elbows stuck to the table. That always bugs me. Can you get a fresh rag to swab down the tabletops, please? Service was slow 2/7 meals came in 15 mins then 3 more a few mins later then a few minutes later the salad came out last taking 20 mins. This place misses the mark for me, but that's partly an issue of execution and partly one of preference. This is a definite 2 1/2 star joint, but I'll round up to 3 because I admit that maybe, this just isn't my thing. First, that's the smallest 1/4 patty I've seen in a while. I'm not sure where the juicy, flavorful patties I read about were; they weren't on our burgers. Our seemed to be mostly bun. The fries were fine, and plentiful enough that two of us could easily have shared an order. But, they were crisp and well done; I prefer them soft, non-greasy, and potatoey. I can't knock that though - just not my preference. The space is high ceilinged with exposed ducts, with a tiled floor and lots of dark wood and earth tones. While I do really like the modern feel, it does make the place very echoey and as BF put it , "obnoxiously loud." There's a kids area of sorts with a few video games and one of those horse ride things you put a quarter in, and the shrieks coming from that area traveled all over the open space. My wife and I have come here since it's opening as a Mongolian Grill, as we play free Texas Hold'Em in the attached Bar on Wednesday and Thursday nights. We wish they had never changed, because their Mongolian food was great. I consider myself to be somewhat of a burger freak, and my attitude towards GoGo's new incarnation is absolutely "MEH". The burger patties are small-ish for the price, are pretty flavorless (unseasoned), the buns are generic, and the so-called "Salad Bar" is nothing more than a toppings bar for your burger that has only the standard lettuce-tomato-onion-pickle fare that anyone can put on a burger anywhere else. If one is looking for a seperate "Salad Bar" with the normal salad fare like most other restaurants, you'll be disappointed. The most frustrating thing is that the old Mongolian food bar is still there, and is twice the size of the new Toppings Bar. One wonders why they put the new bar in place, why they don't get creative with the toppings available on the bar (mushrooms, ham, french-fried onions, egg, etc.) since they had the space on the old bar, and why the patties are so small. Their standard $4 burger has a patty roughly the same size as a Quarter Pounder from McDonalds. Why would someone want to come back for something like that? I hate having to write a review like this, because I know the owners, we've known them since they opened, and they are nice people who are really trying. But the burger idea isn't working. It isn't special. It could be MADE special, but I suppose that would cut into their profit margin, and that's not an investment they want to make. Too bad. read more

This place used to be quite good, and has been for years. However, the quality of their food has recently plummeted. Still, the nail in the coffin was that my friends and I were recently food poisoned from eating at Gogo Burger. It was the only common denominator; we met up at Gogo, ate, went our separate ways, and got food poisoning later that night. What added insult to injury is that I had called my mother to let her know that I had gotten sick from eating there, and she decided to call Gogo on her own-- just to let them know that something had happened. The owner/manager never once apologized and was extremely combative. While she was only trying to let him know that something had happened, all he would say is "how do you know it was my restaurant" and "you can't prove anything". She was being very polite and courteous, and wasn't TRYING to prove anything! She wasn't calling in the inspectors or making threats. She was just letting them know that we had gotten sick after eating there. He didn't have to admit fault if he really didn't want to, but some sort of sympathy toward long-time customers would be nice. I can no longer recommend Gogo Burger, and I suggest you look elsewhere for your Burgin' needs. read more

This use to be a Mongolian Grill, but is now a burger joint. I came here with a group of friends on a Sunday afternoon upon discovering Amy's Burger Shack closed early for the day. The concept of ordering a burger and using a buffet style cart to add on dressing and toppings is cool, but the burger itself didn't cut it. Maybe two patties messed up the meat:bun:cheese ratio.. who knows. The beef seemed to be of good quality, but was bland and over-cooked. The house dressing was pretty yummy though. The fries were alright though desperately needed seasoning. Overall, the burgers weren't awful but not nearly as good as others I've had. What makes a good burger place stand out? In my opinion it's the consistency in quality and cooking. This my favourite burger place in town. The egg and bacon burger (super GoGo burger) is awesome. I've been wanting to try this place for a while now and decided to give it a try. I was impressed by the set up. You order and then they cook it right in the open and bring the order to you, then you get to choose your own condiments and put them on your self. I had the cheese burger, fries and a drink. The fries were tasty. The burger was juicy. Both the fries and burger had no fat taste to them and everything seemed to be fresh including the items on the condiment bar. I came hungry and left full. Basically my favorite place for pho on the west side. The food is GREAT! Get the P3. Service is sometimes a little spotty depending on who is waiting tables. I would have given 5 stars had it been on any other day. When the waitress brought me my Sprite there were two dead ants floating around in it. Not a huge deal. I've worked in restaurants. No matter how clean you keep things, sometimes it happens. Long story short she still charged me for my Sprite. She did bring me a new one (with no extras this time), and I'm not saying I should be given a free soda. If it was my customer I wouldn't have charged for the soda. I went in with my family for dinner and we got phó and an amazing burger........But we had to ask for basically everything from silverware, salt and pepper, water...... Oh and had leftovers and got a look that I thought was going to set me on fire. I was in Beaverton and I was hungry. I'm stuck at a stop light and see this nice-looking building up ahead of me. It says they serve burgers. Sweet. Burgers sound great! As I get closer, I also see what appears to be an asian food sign rather close to the burger joint. Confusing, but ok. This could be leftover from the last place, or perhaps they share a building. I continue on. After I walk through the front door, I realize this is, in fact, a burger/Asian fusion place. What? Since when do those things go together? Still, I'm hungry and I'm here, so I'm going to give it a shot. What the heck, right? The server hands two menus - one for burgers and the like, and one with Pho, etc. I'm now completely confused because I no longer know what I want. Whatevs. I finally decide on a grilled chicken burger. The server comes back and I ask if I can have my burger lettuce wrapped as I don't want the bun. She's thoroughly confused as her English is sub-par, and brings me back the menu showing me tortilla and rice wraps. I try to explain what I mean, but she looks at me like I have 3 heads, so I tell her to just bring me the chicken breast on a plate and I'll figure it out myself. There is a condiment bar in between the bar side and the restaurant side. You grab your own burger fixings here. Odd. The sauces were okay sans the ranch. It's clearly not traditional ranch. My chicken comes out and it's a thinly pounded chicken cutlet seasoned with god-knows-what, but it's not tasty and doesn't resemble anything that could be considered a chicken burger even if it had a bun. I sauce and salsa the crap out of it so I can choke it down. It's protein so I'm going to make the most of it. I did also order a side of sweet potato fries. They were freaking delicious. This place is amazing! Who knew that burgers and pho would go together so well? At GoGos its a match made in heaven especially for the hubby and me. I love pho and he loves burgers so its so nice to go to a restaurant where, not only can we both get something we want, but it also tastes amazing! I've never had the burgers but the hubby loves them and he's quite the burger expert. The pho is seriously fantastic! The broth is sooo flavorful and there is always more than enough to fill you up! GoGos has for sure made us loyal customers! Update - Just ate there again with the hubby and a few friends. Had pho again and it was wonderful. My family & I are obsessed with: a fat, steaming bowl of majestic Vietnamese noodle soup. I can attest, that the good folks at GoGo, know how to provide such an exquisite fair. If you have read any of my reviews for burgers, you know that I am very picky. I feels that I can make a pretty good burger at home, so if I am going to go out for a burger, it needs to be damn good. So where does this fall? When I was a kid, I used to love going to the Carnival for hamburgers. Not so much because the burgers were great, but because they had a condiment bar. There were lots of condiments, including the ability to put an abnormal amount of pickles on my burger, which as a kid, was one of my favorite things to do. I never felt that I got enough pickle on most burgers, so the ability to pile on the pickle was a special treat. Gogo's has a condiment bar, but I am no longer that kid that wants 40 pounds of pickles on my burger. I want lettuce, tomato, pickles, onions, ketchup, and mustard. If you are doing a gourmet burger, then the toppings can be much more exotic. The condiment bar offers all of those things, but there is nothing "extra" there. In fact, it looks more like a salad bar than a condiment bar. This is where a place like Fuddruckers distinguishes themselves; they have a ton of different toppings at the bar, so you can load up on things like Velveeta to cover the taste of the meat. No such luck here. If that is the case, then just put them on for me. The burger itself is average. Thin patty that is cooked well done and juicy, which isn't how I prefer my burger (I like thick, medium rare patties). So it is the type of burger that you can get at pretty much any tavern, minus the manual labor required to put toppings on it. They also have a challenge burger with two orders of fries, but I don't think I want to try a challenge for an average burger. The fries are average as well...not bad, but nothing special. This may be a place that I would take a customer that is close by, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here. read more

This place has gone through some different hands. The last time I was here, it was just burgers. Think Fuddruckers. I was surprised to hear that this place serves pho and burgers. Together. On the menu. My first thought was...interesting. My second thought was ... I hope the pho is good. In all honesty, I wasn't expecting much. It was actually a lot better than I thought. The prices are a little higher than your usual pho fare. It was at least a dollar more on a lot of the items. They still serve burgers. Condiment bar is still ... somewhere in the place and you build your burger. My friend had the burger and she said it was really good. I had the vermicelli bowl with grilled lemongrass chicken and eggroll. The boyfriend had the pho. He is a pho connoisseur. I judge pho places by their egg rolls and their pho. The pho was delicious. The broth was really good. The vermicelli bowl was delicious and the chicken was grilled to perfection. The egg roll was delicious. Almost as good as mine. All in all, the food was delicious. I will come here again and try some of the other food items they have on the menu. The service is good. Even though the food came out at different times, I got my order last, it all still came out fairly quickly and with little time in between each so it wasn't like I was left sitting at the table while everyone ate. If the experience is the same or better, I'll raise the stars but for now, it's 3 stars for me. read more

I went back again for dinner and for some reason it didn't seem to be as good. It wasn't exactly busy either, but the food took twice as long to get. The salad bar was good and the burger was ok. I ordered the 1/4 pound burger this time. Last time it was a half pound. Maybe the extra meat drowned out the taste of the average tasting bun. I love this place for the simple reason that they have a condiment bar. I order my burger with a side of tater tots (I love my tots) and mosey on over to the condiment bar. They have all the fixins' and more sauces than a bbq joint. It is all fresh and if I wanted more than 1 measly spear of pickle, I can have 2! The service is always fast and friendly. I wish I could find the owner(s) and slap them in the face. This place started out as GoGo Mongolian Grill which was 5 stars in my opinion and one of my favorite places to eat. Then out of nowhere one random day they decided to change it to GoGo Burgers (yeah because there aren't enough Burger places around, right guys!?). Next thing you know it's now GoGo Pho and Vietnamese food. I don'y know how the hell they've managed to stay in business this long but my guess is they keep changing owners and that's why the foods keep changing. It was amazing when it was a Mongolian Grill (way better than Changs!) but now it's just an absolute joke.
