The lunch and dinner menus are the same but they have a variety of daily specials. We kept it simple for lunch: a hamburger with fries and a veggie burger with Saratoga chips. The burger was big and tasty but the veggie patty didn't have much taste and the texture was too soft. It's not something I would order again. A soft drink and a beer (the place is also a brew pub) ran up a bill of $40. It's primarily an Italian place but there are several non-Italian choices from Fish & Chips to Rueben sandwiches. It has a nice, cozy ambiance and service was prompt and courteous. It could easily become my local hangout except it's just a little too far from my home. That being said I do plan to revisit and try some of their Italian fare. Free parking on the street or in their lot. Full bar.

The seating area was packed and I think this is probably typical. But it is large with nice finishes. There was a Happy New Year banner out with markers for kids to color on one of the large tables. Our food came out real quick and it was all correct. I don't think we sat more than 4 minutes before it arrived. I don't care much for the chicken sandwiches, and the fries were just slightly cold. But the peppermint milkshake I ordered was delicious and the whole meal met my expectations. I'm just not a big fan of the food to begin with, but no fault to this restaurant specifically. As we left, the owner/operator of the whole place was taking trash so we didn't have to stack it by the trash cans. I recognized his name and phots from the door. In the 14 months I've gone to this location, they've only messed up my order once. When they did, they resolved it quickly and apologized profusely. I've had interesting check ins with this location and neither of which were favorable. The first situation was when I submitted an online drive thru order and they required me, after waiting in line for 10 minutes, to go into the restaurant to fulfill my order. If you know anything about this location, the turn into this Wendy's isn't great. On the other end, the drive thru exits only to the main street. In order for me to go into the restaurant for that order, I had to exit the drive thru onto the busy main road and cross back into the establishment. Not only that, when arriving to the dining area, the staff was not very welcoming. The second instance of me eating here was not as appalling. The only thing they fell short on was not having any ice on a hot day. This was a minor inconvenience and things happen so I will not penalize them for that. The only saving grace this location had in my opinion was their food was well prepared and executed orders accurately. I gave this visit and recent history a 2/5 due to their inability to meet customer expectations and failure to complete online orders through their own system. For me, online orders are integral to the success of drive thru business due to the decrease in time to take orders. Not only that, it helps eliminate discrepancies in the ordering process. If a restaurant that offers mobile/online orders cannot deliver adequate service, they should train their staff more or they shouldn't have mobile orders at all.
