This review is based solely on the spring rolls. I wish I could've taken a picture for you guys but I just finished up at the gym and I was STARVING. On the way home, I was completely craving spring rolls. I'm on a spring roll kick right now and at this point, I just need to learn how to make them! But man, I was so disappointed in my choice. I should've went to my go to spot Pho Ha #1 . They make this joint look like a complete joke! Anyways. I called them and placed a quick spring roll order and my total she said was $4.35 for two spring rolls. I thought not too bad I guess. I pulled out a $5 bill, thinking it was enough. But nope. I gave her the $5 bill and she looked at me and said $5.35 . $5.35 for TWO spring rolls. You gotta be kidding me? I mean I didn't say anything or complain because it is what it is, but I completely regret coming here. And to be honest I don't like to compare restaurants at all, but Pho Ha #1 was $6.50 for FOUR spring rolls after tax and they looked so fresh and full. It didn't come with the regular peanut sauce but the sauce itself was pretty watery and lacked flavor. The shrimp was so puny and lacked the bright orange color after it has been cooked... so that kinda scared me. Regardless of everything, I just ate them. Like I said I was hungry. But I was pretty salty doing it. Knowing I can go somewhere else and get a bang for my buck. I haven't been to this place in literally years and I remember why I haven't came back. So disappointing ! This place has truly captivated my Pho desires and cravings. The older Vietnamese lady who owns this place is so sweet gentle and kind. I honestly go here once a week Pho. She knows me as a regular, and she already knows what I always order every time I sit down. I always order a number one large and a half order of eggrolls. Everywhere else is overpriced in my opinion bc who really cares to spend over $9-10 for lunch and that's not including tip (hey I'm not the only frugal person on here or we wouldn't be reading these reviews haha). The green curry with green beans and tofu (silken or soft not fried is a plus) over white rice was top notch and so ono. I couldn't inhale it down fast enough (maybe I was just hungry being that it was practically my first meal of the day). I've been here a few times and each time it was a consistent experience. We were seated and orders taken quickly, and the good came out fast too! I usually get the chicken pho (I don't eat red meat) and it's AMAZING. My 4 kids love Thai food and especially Thai Iced Tea! This summer we were on the hunt for the best Thai food and tea, we found it!! My kids favorite is Tom Yum Goon Soup. My wife and I went to a Marriage seminar at a church that's minutes away from this place and since it ended around lunch time, we stopped by to grab a bite instead of waiting to get home an hour and a half away.
