This was my first time at this particular pizza parlor and I was really happy to see if they actually had gluten-free crust but it's only available in medium and large sizes. Thank goodness I was hungry and we got a medium for about $30. I got the vegetarian gluten-free pizza and the chunks of vegetable were huge and very juicy! Although I am picky about little things and sadly my tomatoes and bell peppers would slide off my pizza but I think because the pieces were so big. So nothing really to complain about but just my own nitpick. Hee. The marinara sauce was kind of plain for me, but my husband really liked the pizza so that's why I gave it four stars instead of three and I will definitely be back. The gentleman working at the pizzeria said it would take about 10 minutes for the pizza to be made and he was true to his word! Got a couple pepperoni slices last week. They were decent and reasonably priced. Nothing to go out of the way for, but also good enough that if I lived in walking distance I'd get it again. In fact, it's one of the best in the city in my opinion. I called two days in advance to see if they could do me a favor by making the 2 orders into a heart shape for a special occasion. I was a little worried that they didn't understand what I wanted and didn't think they would make it happen but they surprisingly did!! I'm still laughing til this day because they probably thought I was a weirdo. They were patient and super accommodating. Customer service is just as great as last time. We come to SF at least once a year to visit family and we normally like to plan out our food itinerary for when we're not eating w family. Golden Edge was not on our list but we stumbled upon it as we were looking for a kid-friendly food option last minute. We've tried plenty of pizzerias but this had to be one of the best we've tried (in terms of the speciality pizzas that are served). We tried the spinach sausage and the supremo and the husband and I LOVED the spinach sausage. Prices were comparable to our local LA pizzeria and portions were huge. They also do not skimp on toppings! The cherry on top was seeing the workers/owners (?) treat customers with kindness. I don't see this often and when I do, I make sure to let everyone know because it makes our world a better place. I observed a woman come in to ask for a drink and one of the workers smiled and without saying much handed her a soda. From the selections displayed, the slices looked kinda old and definitely not worth $6. They have a few booth tables inside for seating and this looks to be a popular option for families with kids. For a gourmet family size pizza, you're looking at $40 and the Chicken Masterpiece sounds good: white sauce, mozzarella, mushroom, onion, grilled chicken, tomato, roasted fresh garlic, fresh cilantro, lemon and black pepper -- I would consider this next time if I'm in the neighborhood and wanted pizza. Literally no other Pizza spot was open, so keep that in mind. The pizza quality is not like your typical sicilian/new york slice of pizza. There's very little sauce, and the bread is very thick and doughy. It's closer to an upgraded Papa John's pizza than your typical thin crust pie. Toppings are also interesting, they deviate a lot from other pizza spots. For example, clams were distributed in big clumps which looked impressive. But also their sausage was spongy, maybe because it had some kind of bread filler like a meatloaf. Also didn't get parm and pepper, but I also didn't ask so maybe they'll give it to you if you ask. Overall, had a good experience. If you like pizza that's like foccacia bread, then come here. Pros: - Was open during the holidays - Great service. Fast, straight forward. - Locally owned - The place is to-go but also has limited indoor seating - Pizza by the slice available (though only a couple of flavors when I went on Christmas) Cons: - Little to no parking. - Overcrowded niche. I took my kid to the Peek a boo factory across the street, and the kids wanted pizza so here we are, at the closest pizza shop. I had high hopes for the pizza since its got 4 starts, unfortunately the food itself is mediocre. The shop is small, only 3 small tables inside. I called the restaurant directly to ask them why they don't offer a small pizza on Uber Eats. Only medium and large. He told me that was incorrect. He offered to deliver to me directly. My pizza was delivered in 20 minutes. Piping hot and fresh from the oven. I paid with a credit card and he did not give me the option to tip. We also ordered wings, they were delicious, juicy, and seasoned perfect! buffalo and plain because my little one can't do spicy...yet! The selection of soda and soft drinks was great too- ginger ales, Shasta, cokes, Dr Pepper, 7up. Honestly it was the best family meal we ate in SF, and we went to eat everywhere, but nothing beats a pizza with the fam after a long day of walking and sightseeing. Great little neighborhood pizza place in the Richmond district. I learned of the place by word of mouth and had to check it out. My experience was strictly for a takeaway order. We placed a phone order and it was ready in about 25 minutes. We ordered 2 family sized pizza's: Spinach Garden & the Supremo. Both were loaded with their respective ingredients, plenty of veggies on the garden and enough meat on the Supremo. It wasn't overly sauced or greasy. You can taste the toppings and it wasn't masked by too much cheese or sauce. The crust was thin and even loaded with toppings, it was not soggy and the outer crust in particular (cornicione) was also thin and not thick like many pizza places make it.
