Restaurant is pretty clean and new looking with valet parking which is a plus because it's impossible to find parking in 86th street. I liked that they have private rooms for larger groups. Since my family came here around 2:00pm which was pretty late, most of the dim sum were gone by then. I usually judge a dim sum place by their rice noodles (churng fun). The noodle texture was quite thick, ideally not what I prefer. Their noodle dishes were quite tasty especially the E-fu noodles. Portions are pretty huge. Food: By the time we got seated (1:30pm), they still had a good selection of dim sum available. The food was on par with other dim sum spots in the area, but not as great as East Harbor. Service: It's normal in dim sum parlors for the cart ladies to be pushy, but they don't just force you to take their food and charge you for it. I was really looking forward to having some taro puffs, so I asked the only lady with a pastry cart if she had them. She responded with a raised voice, saying that the flat fried pancake/fritters/hash brown looking things in her cart were puffs. I knew that those were not puffs, but I didn't say anything. I simply said no, thank you. She continued to push us to take the fritters until my sister asked her about the filling of some buns in her cart. She told us what was in it, and we had no interest in that either, but she refused to take no for an answer. The Decoration here is really comfortable, service is friendly, seating arrangements are not as bad as mentioned in other reviews, we got our seats with well arrangement in 5 minutes, Staff with pushcart gave us a detailed introduction for all dim sums, as always, they make typical Chinese dumplings with creative fusion styles, really love their sticky rice Shao Mai and gummy noodles, definitely come again soon! read more

I was so glad that I finally going to eat out after almost 7 months of stay in. But it turns out that it was such a very very disappointing experience. Went to this restaurant with some friends for Dim Sum and the service was not so great to begin with. And when the Dim Sum finally came in about 15 to 20 minutes or so of waiting after ordering. The Dim Sum were not even hot! It wasn't even warm in my opinion and when I complaint to the waitress and asked her for either to re-heat the Dim Sum or to exchange for a new one. She stated that this is as hot as it will get and I get this take it or leave it attitudes. This place is so horrible and it is like they don't even care! I would boycott this eatery! Food was pretty good but believe the other more popular dim sum places in Brooklyn are better. A tad more expensive than other places as well. The wait didn't seem too long but we tend to eat very early. Came in around 10am and there was no wait. Service was good and the place seemed very clean/new. My only gripe with the place is with their vallets. They move extremely slow and cause lines when their lot is wide open. It would likely be easier to allow for self park. read more

We comes here regularly since its location is just few block away from my in law's house. We decided to try their dinner dishes adding to the existing dim sum plates today to celebrate early Christmas. We ordered two dishes: one is Barbecue pork and the other plate is XO sauce on Sea Cucumber with mixed mushrooms and Vegetables. The Pork plate is nice but not overwhelmingly blown away. However, the Sea cucumber plate is pretty impressive with the crunchy (not fry style) feeling and interesting combination with vegetables. Both are tasty with good portion. The restaurant is still busy on normal Sunday lunch time. Service is still good. We will come back again to try on other dishes. read more

Excellent Chinese food! As good as it gets. The decor of the restaurant is modern and spacious. We've been coming here since it was the buffet (really miss it). But now they have fun sum and high quality seafood for dinner. We have not been disappointed by any of the dishes and the service is excellent! They tried to seat our family of 15 to a table of 8. 12 were here but they said because of reservations. Finally they gave us a big table but once we were ready to order someone else came out and said the workers made a mistake that they want to put us in 2 smaller tables. We were walk ins and ppl had reservations is what they kept saying (the other party was not here yet). My family stayed put and the waiters walked away without taking our order. Only been here for dimsum. Decor is not the prettiest. The food though to be is my top 2 in Brooklyn, but haven't decided if it's worth the wait in a busy cramped area. It took 2 hours once for a party of 5 and 1.5 hours another time. It's by far the longest wait for dimsum. The food is fresh and tasty though. I have been going to this restaurant since it opened. The dim sum is great. Great variety. All the staple dim sum is very authentic and made fresh. I came to this restaurant more during the COVID-19 pandemic. They efficiently offer take out and with ample parking in parking lot and in the street it is very convenient for me to stop by and pick up food. I have only been to the restaurant for dinner prior to the pandemic and the seafood is fresh and the food is very good. The portions is definitely above average. I do pick up for dinner as well and the portions remains very plentiful and tastes great. I am glad this restaurant opened during the pandemic. Its not stated on the menu. It's a shady practice. I understand that times are tough but be transparent about your policies. Also as I was paying the bill, I overheard the cashier complaining about how little the tips are to a fellow waiter. We already paid the standard 15%. This review is only based on the valet parking. We parked our cars ourself because the valet did not know how to operate a manual car. Prior to retrieving our car we were rudely stopped by him demanding a tip. We explained that he did not service us in any way and he still insisted that we have to give him a tip. To avoid any arguments in front of our family we gave him money but left feeling very annoyed. Management should hire valets that knows how to park cars and basic customer service. read more

Thanks to my other fellow Yelpers, I was excited to discover that there was indeed a place to get dim sum while most establishments remain closed. I'm not sure why previous reviews for this restaurant weren't great... perhaps they switched chefs recently?!? I have ordered twice from here and the food is pretty damn good. Great dim sum - they do the staple dishes (shrimp dumplings, siu mai, rice noodle rolls) as well as any of the well known joints in Sunset Park. And I usually go to East Harbor when the they're open... They also deliver if you're within reasonable distance. My food arrived piping hot. Fried Rice and Pan Fried noodles were also pretty good and the portions were very generous. I highly recommend this place. read more

Was on here on a Sunday morning for dimsum, waited for one hour for a table. When they called my number and I was on my way walking to the table, some families went ahead and just sat there. I told the host that some people just sat there randomly. The host didn't do anything or told the people to stand up because they were "regulars" and told us to wait a little more for the next available one. I complained and insisted that is not right to do as I waited fair and square for the table and my number was called for it. They didn't try to fix it and let the "regulars" sit there. They soon got me another table within 15mins. The food was not so great either. One of the shrimp dim sum was not too fresh and there were 3 other dim sum was cold and stale. Overall the experience this time was terrible and would not ever come back or recommend this place at all. Although I don't come here every single day and be considered a "regular" but I have come to this place for a share amount of time and usually spend a good amount for dinner as I always come with a large group. Really enjoyed this place. Recently remodeled and looking really good. Service was great and everyone was really friendly. I liked the food. All tasted really good. Fun story. Was waiting for the rest of our party. Hostess asked how many. I tell her and she say to me, "you know this isn't buffet, right?". I say yes. Now I am thinking that, because I am a large white guy (despite what my Yelp profile may project), I was just stereotypically profiled. I thought it was funny though. The first table, she pushed one of her friends who just walked in to the side and signaled them to the table being bused. I let that go because other tables were also paying. Another lady (who didn't even have her whole party) walks in and the hostess waves her to the other table. Finally the hostess seeing my dirty looks says don't worry that table in the corner will be yours once its cleaned off. Just kidding. Another one of her friends walks in. Group of 5. She says sorry your group won't fit at that table. I called bullshit as her new friend is a group of 5 adults. She then proceeds to lie and say they were waiting first. I asked where is their number/ticket. No answer. This is when I went and told her off. I left the restaurant and proceed to go to another place 10 minutes away. Will never return and will definitely not recommend this restaurant. Came here with my family (siblings, kids and spouses) to celebrate Mother's Day a week afterwards to avoid the mobs. We had two tables. All of us agreed, the food was great. We will be back soon. Our only complaint was that once we told them to start serving, all ten dishes (per table) come out in 15 minutes. The food started to get cold since everything came out so quick. Then, he says you ordered 7 dishes, it's someone's birthday (it wasn't) so order another one. We did order 8, he forgot it but when we reminded him, he just walks away. We got the soup we ordered, guy dropped it down and walked away without saying anything. When we asked, another guy came to serve the soup. Then, two minutes later, they brought out all the dishes where the table had no room. It happened for all the tables. That's not how you serve family style food. They started transferring the food to smaller plates when we didn't even eat it yet. Food was either bland or hard. Veggies was supposed to be garlic stir fry and had no taste; the pork chop was hard and dry; everything else was plain. The food was not cheap and it was good food, service was bad. Throughout the whole dinner, they didn't change our plates once, didn't get us more water or tea until we asked. This place is horrible. the dim sum here is just as good as it smells when you walk in the door. def go with someone who speaks Chinese or someone who knows what their ordering, most of the staff here especially the ladies who push the carts full of dim sum don't speak English so it's hard for them to describe what type of food it is. on weekends when every family goes for dim sum, make sure you get there before 11-12, that's when it gets really packed and you often have to wait for a table. they also have a parking lot for customers. read more

I came here for dim sum and was told by the hostess that the wait would be appropriate 30-40 minutes, which isn't bad. However, it's a totally lie. We waited for an hour something and still weren't seated. According to the hostess, you can skip the line and do not need to wait if you know someone who works there or you will be seated faster if you have a smaller or a larger party. It makes sense that you can be seated faster if you have a small party, but not for a large party or just cause you know someone there. They just don't care if people skip you. Beware of this restaurant when you pay. I overheard table next to ours complained about wrong charges on their bill, so I look at mine carefully when we pay. OMG! They purposely put the messy hand written order on the back of the bill and then only written $200 dinner in the front. When I figure out all the charges from the messy hand writings the total was only $118.50. One of the manager somehow was already behind me and realize that I figure something is wrong. He then right away took the check and said don't worry I will double check without any apology. Less then two minutes, he came back and whiteout the $200 and put $118.50. I found it very suspicious that the manager was not surprise or apologetic about the situation just wanted to quickly take it out of my hand and also that more then 1 table got wrong charges. I was also very disappointed because the food is okay but very blend nothing special. Their house chicken is a cold dish and very raw, but the menu didn't mention anything about this dish is served cold otherwise I wouldn't order it.
