I went here this afternoon and I was pleased with my first experience. It had a nice atmosphere. Mostly family. We sat outside on the patio. It had a nice breeze and wasn't congested with table. Nice and private. Also, they had heaters on in the day which was pretty thoughtful. I was satisfied with our 1st waitress but not the 2nd. She seemed irritable. Hope she enjoyed the rest of her day. They had Booths as well as chairs so could be an intimate if desired. The food was great. I love when everything on the menu is health conscious. Says a lot about the establishment and the people who attend. I ordered a Teriyaki Chicken Croissant w/ fresh fruit and a Strawberry Lemonade. I have to say that is the best Strawberry lemonade I've had this year. I ate off my partners plate cause she had sweet potato fries. They were BY FAR the best I've ever had. Called an order in once and left my name and number, when I got there there nobody was able to locate my order, as if I never spoke with them on the phone.. they were not packed either so no excuse there.. The scene isn't quite as cool as the Redondo Beach location, but the menu is identical and there is no waiting here even on weekends. The service at this place blew chunks. They said to me that our table was ready and pointed it out to but they couldn't seat us until the party before us was seated. We asked for straws and utensils and we got attitude. When the waitress finally gave us our utensils she just threw it on the table. The food was mediocre at best. I remember going to Good Stuff when the Manhattan Beach place was still around but then I don't remember anything that was absolutely great about it. I was kinda excited to go to Good Stuff just because I remembered it but was highly disappointed. It was empty on a Tuesday night, maybe 3 other groups and the service was BAD. The sat us and left us....for awhile. The servers looked like they were more interested in gossiping, squealing and giggling with their friends in the corner than taking our order. When we finally got our food, they never asked if we needed anything else - like a refill on our waters (shouldn't that be an automatic thing - it happens at other places). Oh, and don't mention to them that there is a problem with the order. It was greeted with a feigned snear and a Valley Girl attitude. I was amazed how our servers face described what she was telling her manager about what we said about our order 3 tables down from us. It included some eye rolling and a tsch sound.... Other than that....I did really like the food.....no, seriously - the food tasted good. Not great but decent. After coming to Good Stuff consistently for the last 3 months, I now feel comfortable writing a review of their extensive menu. This is a cute little joint in Downtown El Segundo, right off of Grand and Main. Parking is on the street or free in the lot next door. They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner, though I have never had their breakfast, it looks pretty good. You can't go wrong with their salads, especially the Cobb and the Ole Chicken Ceasar. Both are large portions and very filling, with fresh seasonal veggies. I also really like their Chicken Cilantro Soup, which is broth-based and very tangy - the perfect thing for a cold day. I have also had their salmon wrap (good), their chili (good), their chicken burrito (not so great - too watery) and their burger (okay). I have to say that the one thing keeping Good Stuff from being more than 3 stars is the fact that their food is very bland. The most flavorful thing on their menu is the chicken cilantro soup. I wish that they would add some more spices and be more creative with their flavors... everything kind of tastes the same here, whether it's the burger or the salad, I find myself adding salt and hot sauce. However, they are reasonably priced, they have very friendly and professional service, and they have happy hour occasionally... so I keep coming here for office lunches. I wouldn't go out of my way to come to Good Stuff, but it's a very good option for me when I'm at work just up the street, especially since I have my own hot sauce at work. :) read more

We like coming here for work lunches because it's good for groups of 3-4 people and easy free parking (giant parking structure next door or street parking). Pretty extensive menu, and there's something for everyone. When we last came here, I had the fish tacos which were pretty good and filling. Their sweet potato fries are yummy too! My friend swears by their veggie stuffy (not sure if I'm spelling that right). Fairly consistent service, overall an easy place for a casual lunch. read more

This place never disappoints! If you're looking for an affordable, delicious, healthy meal... this is the place to go! My boyfriend and I love going to this spot especially over the weekend when we both don't feel like cooking but still want to eat clean and enjoy our meal. The place is self seating and very spacious. Staff is always very friendly and prompt to take our orders. I love that the fit menu has calorie count along with oz/gm of protein in the dish which makes it easy to calculate your macros! The regular menu doesn't dissapoint neither. This is one of the best places to get breakfast. The food comes quick, the service is excellent, and the staff are more than friendly and puts you in great mood to get your day started. I recommended all my friends to eat here and they say the same thing! Not a bad place to chow down after a little surf session. The decor of the place is kind of cool with vintage surfing photos that adorn the walls. Altough the service leaves little to be desired at times. (waiting forever to get a refill on my ice tea) What the waitresses lack in personality and service however, they more then make up for in cuteness. Ah yes the food. Its your standard California fare of pseudo-healthy, Mexican, and everything else but the kitchen sink type of menu. I've been semi addicted to the fried chicken wraps and tend to order them quite a bit. But I have tried other dishes as well. The burgers ain't too bad and the Mexican food well, its not really authentic but it will do. The ground turkey enchiladas were a little dry imo but they seemed to go down alright with a beer. (I mean it is called Good Stuff not Bueno Stuffito, so if you're hankering for something south of the border maybe try one of the million Taquerias in town.) There seem to be plenty of salads to choose from if thats your thing. (Can't really fuck up a salad) There is also a breakfast menu which is served all day. read more

It is a fun place to visit with an extensive menu that has something for everybody - breakfast, salads, sandwiches, Mexican, healthy options, burgers, etc. A great place for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The restaurant has a cool and relaxing California feel and the staff is very warm. I really like that they have many turkey options. The enchiladas (ground turkey) and eggs are my favorite. They also have a very nice outdoor patio area that is enclosed in glass. Parking is also very easy as they are next door to a parking structure. We love coming here for Sunday breakfast. There's usually a 10 to 15 min wait for a table on the weekends. But it's worth the wait. We love their Loco Moco, It's the best!! First off, great service, nice waitresses, nice little place, Id still like to come back for breakfast, but.... Dinner... not again... I ordered the Monte Cristo sandwich, not a Monte Cristo. I expected better with my order being the only order the cook had to make, it was 5PM and I was the only one there. It only had ONE thin piece of ham and ONE thin piece of turkey. The bread tasted like a rubbery piece of french toast, way way wrong for a Monte Cristo. Just over all not very good for 9 bucks. I did get it as take out, ate it withen 5 minutes though... The other orders from my order, the Chads Enchiladas and the Barramundi... they said it was awesome, would give it a 5 Star My review is more for the Monte Cristo, just super super weak!!! read more

I used to have a bad taste in my mouth when it came to the Good Stuff chain. I'd eaten at the Hermosa Beach & Manhattan locations several times. All of which resulted in bad food and bad service. The El Segundo location has made me do a 180. I've eaten here several times and always received excellent service and good food. On the weekend it tends to be busy in the morning, other than that it's usually pretty easy to get a seat. read more

So out on an adventure with crazy trainer Dougy from Sac-town, we were headed out looking for lunch...I see Good Stuff on the corner, scored on parking and we head in. It was about 12:15 on a Tuesday...pretty slow still which was perfect. We were seated in a booth, but I changed my mind and we were promptly moved outside. It was a crisp and perfect outside, but Dougy complained it was too cold for his Sac-town blood...too bad, we stayed outside! I had the Naked burrito with brown rice and Dougy had the Avocado Bacon Burger...I was very happy with my food, it was delicious! Let me preface this review by saying that I ordered Good Stuff via Postmates. I got the Vegan Tofu Scramble and Sweet Potato Fries (sans chipotle dressing) and my boyfriend got a Traditional Burger and Landon's Grilled Cheese with Bacon. The food itself was pretty good although even that varied from item to item. The Vegan Tofu Scramble had a good flavor, but there was very little... tofu. It was mostly vegetables, which wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but the title was misleading on that end. The sweet potato fries were soggy and flavorless. This might have to do with the fact that it was a delivery, but they were inedible either way. All these good reviews make me think that my experience was a fluke. There's very little chance I'll be in the immediate area again, but if I happened to be back, I would try it again as it's one of the few places in the immediate area that caters to vegans. That said, I'd probably try to go to the restaurant instead of getting delivery here. read more

Personal, even. Our favorite waitress even knows my son's order before we sit down. The food is fine. I'm pretty much a creature of habit, so I usually get one of three things. Went during lunch hour, very busy, had to wait to even get seated, no one was around and it was my first time here so I was really confused as to if we were to self seat or wait. My only indication was a stand that looked like maybe a host would stand at. Someone finally came out. My food came out in a reasonable time so no complaints. I ordered the Ole Chicken Caesar which is where I do I have a complaint. 1) got some brown edge pieces of lettuce which I hate, I pick them out my own lettuce for a couple bucks a bag so tbh I really dont want to pay $11 for a salad and have to pick it out (pics included hope you can see) 2) very skimpy on the lettuce itself and the dressing and over abundance of chicken and tortilla strips, the chicken was really good but I ordered salad. At any rate pleasant enough meal, I would return to try something different. The dressing and chicken were actually really good, I just would have appreciated more lettuce to really make a salad. This was more like chicken dish under abundant bed of lettuce. This was the first restaurant and first time in my life I have left a restaurant hungry. I was shocked myself, like really? maybe you are just thirsty but no my stomach was growling. More lettuce would have cured this. I had an hour to burn before going to work, and me being me I always have to try a new place. One thing that turns me off about some restaurants is that they have way too many things on the menu, this is to make everyone happy. I like restaurants that have smaller menus and fantastic food they specialize in. Since I am at a restaurant with too many things to choose from I picked the breakfast special Juevos rancheros for $9.29. When I got my order it looked okay, juevos rancheros with hash browns? I must say it did taste really good, and the service was really good too. The only thing disappointing was that nothing on their specials board is under $9 bucks. read more

Had a thin dish veggie stuffie last week from the 16 under 600 menu. Not only was it under 500 calories, it was so filling and satisfying. Full of flavor, with lots of good texture, I left full and happy. It comes with a side of steamed veggies. I will definitely try some other dishes from the fitness menu. This food was pretty bad. The service was mediocre. The tuna melt was probably was one of the worst I've ever had. Bland boring flavorless. I left half my meal uneaten, and didn't take it to go, which is something, because I don't like to leave food. The television was on the entire time with the whole restaurant transfixed by it. No escape from the media, stupid shows. The kids didn't like thier meals, really. Says it was the worst macaroni ever.
