So sad. This used to be "good" food. But we had one of the worst meals We have had in a very long time tonight. My daughters burger was so thin, tuff, and tasted rotten. My husband's wrap was supposed to be a fried chicken but there were only fragments of chicken and barely any other filling to make up for the lack of chicken in the chicken wrap. It was a lifeless underwhelming "sandwich". My chili tasted like it was Campbell's soup. The only slightly redeeming item was the fried zucchini but it wasn't close to how good it used to be. My daughter was home visiting from Living out of state and was so excited to go here but the three of left feeling more than disappointed. What a waste of $55! read more

I arrived and stood at the hostess table and two women at the back counter talking. After a couple of minutes a hostess "greeted" me. She sat me at the counter and a couple of minutes later, I was given a menu. My waitress asked " would you like something to drink?" I told her coffee. She poured the coffee and walked away. No napkins, no silverware, no anything. I started to walk out but decided against it. I ordered the breakfast burrito and a few minutes later another waitress came out with my food to go. I told her that my order wasn't to go. I can't rate the burrito because the negative vibes took away any flavor that it might have had. My waitress never apologized for the mixup, never checked on me, and when I barely touched my food never asked if the food was okay or if I wanted a carry out box. I tipped her a dollar and wrote that I didn't feel welcomed. I am a black man that's not overly sensitive but ZERO STARS for this place. read more

A great place to chill out on a lazy Sunday morning/afternoon when you want some legit brunch in your life. My roommate and I have been here a few times and we've never been disappointed with the food. Sometimes service can be a little slow, but they do get pretty busy sometimes so it's all good. Their breakfast specials are pretty bomb, but don't sleep on their burgers or hot sandwiches, they're great too. Still have yet to check them out at dinner, but we're working on it. We live close to Good Stuff, so we go there all the time. There are many breakfast spots around El Segundo but this is the only one we frequent. The staff is friendly and remembers you. The food is consistently good, it's kid friendly and parking (if needed) is easy. I always get the good stuff breakfast. Can't go wrong with eggs, bacon, potatoes or fruit. My husband always gets a healthy mexican scramble (JJ's scramble I think). Healthy options if you want and mimosas if you are in the mood. read more

I've been coming here for years for their whole wheat pancakes which were the best. Well they've now replaced the wheat pancakes with a gluten free buttermilk pancake. I'm assuming because of the gluten free trend but gluten free doesn't necessarily mean healthier. I just wish the restaurant would've taken those of us who do not like buttermilk or foods filled with sugar into consideration before making the change. It really sucks because I loved this place especially their pancakes. So I'm giving them a one star for getting rid of one of the best items on the menu and replacing it with something unhealthier. Yes it's gluten free but gluten is only bad for those with certain allergies or dietary restrictions and the gluten free is sweeter making it worse for those of us trying to live a healthier lifestyle read more

So, this is the second time I've come here. Again, it was the service that ruined the entire experience. I ordered the same Chicken Chile Verde Omelet (and it was still tasty), but it never feels good to be treated like a cargo hold for other patrons. My waiter, Gus, was very nice and prompt. However, while most people don't put cream in their tea, I do. I would have been pleased to tell Gus all about it, had he bothered to ask. Instead, he snatched away the cream while my tea was still steeping. It really didn't become irritating until Gus came and asked if he could take the Tapatillo away. Mind you, he didn't interrupt me to ask if I needed anything, nor did he stop me while I'm trying to enjoy my meal to ask how the meal was. He wanted the Tapatillo sauce, for the same table that got the cream. I wasn't done with it, although I had put it back in the holder, and I should have told Gus no. But I was still steaming from his first faux pas, and I wanted to continue enjoying my meal as best as I could. Also, since this was in the context of Gus already taking what he decided to be necessary to my breakfast experience, and not one iota more, I just told him to "go ahead," since I was now almost literally fed-up. I wanted to enjoy what was left of my plain green tea. The last time I was here, both my friend and I commented on how horrible the service was, and I yelped my first review for this establishment. I read the apologetic comment from someone I assumed to be management (since I chalked the first episode up to poor training). Well, it was my mistake to question my instincts, because it seems the only way to ensure a positive experience in this place (aside from letting your standards plummet) is to be a local or a regular. I saw those people being treated darlingly. Others...not so much. I still tipped Gus fairly, because one instance isn't indicative one's entire output. Plus, I now, more than ever, firmly believe management is to blame for enabling an atmosphere where these things are permitted to flourish. But I still feel cheated. Doubly so, now. If I were given the opportunity to return the omelets to you (in one form or another), I would hurl at the opportunity. But since you've set the bar where it currently stands, I won't hold my breath. My wife and I are (were) frequent customers. The food and service has always been good until this morning. My sons and grandson came from out of town for a visit this weekend, and we decided to eat at Good stuff for breakfast. Upon arrival, we were told that the wait would be about 15-20 minutes. Being in no particular hurry, we decided to wait. After about 10 minutes, another party of about the same size as ours arrived and, after a brief discussion with the hostess, were seated right away, ahead of us and three other groups, 2 of which also Han young children. When we asked the hostess what gives, she told my wife that they were on the list before us. When my wife challenged her that that was not the case (we were here when they arrived and overheard them discussing how they were going to get a table right away) all the hostess could muster was "I'm sorry." No apologies are required; from now on, I'll spend my $ at businesses that value my patronage. Brunch at Sausal was amazing. read more

Cured my burger cravings without the guilt. Recently had a turkey burger and went away completely satisfied. It was juicy and with the addition of avocado and grilled onion it was the complete deal.
