So, I waited almost 2 years to try this place because it didn't look like much but I regret not going sooner. Now, I know there are multiple locations and I have only tried the one in Palm Springs across the street from Gene Autry shopping plaza so I can't speak to the other locations but I can for this one. The menu is quite large, but from what I have tried I have to say they serve one of the best cheeseburgers I've had in a long time. Even their hotdogs are amazing. Everything tastes extremely home-cooked and you must try the fresh squeezed orange juice. The other nice thing is they have a drive-through so you can pick it up and take it to go. I was visiting Palm Springs just for the night and thought I would try this place out. The reviews are mixed but my experience was great. I ordered: Chicken Salad- It was chicken breast and a lot of it! The salad was fresh it had not cheese like I asked for and avocado and tomato and a full egg! It was a really good salad. I would definitely order it again. Fries- These were ok. Some were perfectly crisp and some were not cooked enough and soggy. They do give you a lot of food and the prices are right on. read more

The food and place is great but they need to hire girls with good customer service and with good presentation of themselves. There are 2 new girls (at least they are new for me) that have 0 customer service, when I walk in, they just looked at me, don't even say good morning and when you have to pick up your order, they don't even call your name, they leave the bags on the counter and ignore you, I have to stand up and ask if my order is ready and they just push the bags towards you and don't even cross a word with you...specially the girl that looks very unprofessional with her face full of piercings, that makes the restaurant look bad and tacky. read more

Goodies is really good when they actually take their time when they actually take a look at the ticket and prepare the order according to how you ordered it. These last few times they have been missing the mark by a long shot. My Carne Asada and my wet burrito had nothing but fat in it. I literally freaked out from the big gooey pieces of fat.texture was so gross. My kids chicken tenders were raw. My daughter started eating her chicken tenders and fries combo and noticed that the middle was completely raw.The fries taste like they were drenched in old oil.she is literally vomiting 6 minutes after eating. I understand that I ordered regular food items at breakfast time but if you are not able to fulfill or order, you cancel a order so that the person is reimbursed. I spent 80 on DoorDash to support this establishment 2x in the last week: I feel like I literally paid for crap and I'm just being honest. Never again !!! Just went through the drive thru, unfortunately our order came out incorrect and when we got home and realized we didn't get what we ordered, I contacted the store and let them know of the mistake. We ordered a chicken salad, my husband changed his mind and wanted a chicken CAESAR salad with a side of ranch. The girl who said she was in charge when I called, was the one that took our order, she decided to give us a chicken breast salad with no ranch on the side and caesar dressing inside. Not at all what we asked for, so on the phone she let me know of the order SHE put in, which again wasn't what we asked for. Usually they'll own up to their mistake and offer a replacement as long as you can come in. I wasn't expecting a refund, just for what I ordered. She said there was nothing she could do because what we ordered isn't what she put down on the ticket, but that wasn't our mistake. That was hers. So she decided to input something we didn't ask for, we paid, and when confronted she decides not to correct her mistake? She offered us 10% off the next time we come in. I'm sorry but why would I risk coming in again if my next order might come out wrong? I truly hope nobody else has this issue, just be aware and check ALL your food before leaving so this doesn'r happen as they don't care to correct their mistakes read more

GOODY'S drive-in window is so convenient and the food is terrific!! We ordered the BLT sandwich on toast and it had so much meaty bacon, FRESH beefy tomatoes and crisp lettuce. It was the best I ever had! We also split a chicken enchiladas (order about 3 for a good meal). Really delicious!!! PS-Sadly, we noticed in the Palm Desert/Springs area, excellent food places like Goody's likely receives fake low ratings (probably from competitors), while one stripmall awful mexican restaurant I ate at laughably had OVER A HUNDRED 5 star ratings! A perfect rating, really??? I noted the so-called "5 star yelp rated restaurant" was EMPTY at brunch. I should have take that as a BIG HINT! Ordered take out my last visit to Palm Springs and ordered their double burger. This thing was huge! There was no need for a double in my case, it made for two meals easy. I was impressed with the quality of the meat and the wonderful char. The fries were super tasty too! Seasoned and surprisingly held up very well! Very high priced and took over 40 mins in drive thru that I couldn't leave from. Pointless to have a drive thru that slow.

On 11/22/21, my husband and I stopped in for a tuna melt with fries and a medium soda and a BLT with fries and medium soda. The total came to $21.84 with tax. Sounds reasonable, right? Not so fast. When she took my order, she only put in my tuna melt and "regular" soda. That's it. No BLT. No fries with that, nor another soda. My sandwich was brought to me, and I asked about my husband's sandwich. "It's coming," she said. So we wait. After about 5 minutes of waiting, I went to inquire where the second sandwich was. "Oh it's on its way," was my answer. So okay, I go back to our table to wait. An expediter brought an order out for a table who were seated after we were, so I asked him on his way back to see where the BLT is. Next I know, a girl comes out and asks to see my ticket. I showed her, and she told me I wasn't charged for a second sandwich. I asked incredulously, "You mean it's $21 for two sodas and a tuna melt?" She showed me the receipt and said the sandwich was $17. $17.00 for a tuna melt???!!!! You have GOT to be joking! But there it was, on my receipt. Tuna melt combo = $17.00. Second soda $2.99. Classic old school diners that have drive thru. A large variety of food options for breakfast, lunch & even dinner plates, but their breakfast is the main event along with their burger menu. Slight Veggie options & Mexican plus hot dogs, that's as good as it gets. The inside is typical retro and well kept, they were cleaning the bathrooms when we came & they were spotless. Goody's has joined the annoying bandwagon of charging for a condiment. They bring you a whole container of ketchup whether you ask for it or not. But want ranch for your fries? There's a charge for that. I can squirt an entire container of ketchup onto my plate, so why not charge for that? Instead you want to charge for 2 ounces of ranch. Hey goodys I bought lunch for my crew a couple times here. Not bad but pricey. I don't like cheap food but expect quality ingredients and good service. On my last visit I got shorted. Skimped on my food. Shy a whole gyro. When I call to complain they say they forgot. Like no shish Sherlock. I ask to get comped a drink and fries for my time and troubles. Manager said no dice. My time as a client is valuable. And when I invest in standing in line and ordering and paying top dollar for fast food then I expect to be treated just. Have ordered delivery from Goody's several times. Generally good food & value priced. Last night's order is the exception. A suggested add-on for my Cobb Salad was toast for $4.59. Assuming it was something appropriate to go with a salad--garlic or other "toast"--I ordered it. What came with the order was 2 pieces of toasted white bread. Oh, and 2 small packets of jelly! A box of "we don't care" - that's what delivery seemed like. I ordered Corned Beef Hash with eggs and hash browns. The corned beef hash was super salty and kind of mealy, almost grainy. Most delivery menus have drop-down or check-box options for how you'd like your eggs. I didn't see that and didn't specify, so I got scrambled. They were light an fluffy, though bland in stark contrast to the extra-salty corned beef. The hash-browns were fine. Bland, under seasoned, edible. Fine. Not crisp, but not oily. They were fine. If not for the hot-sauce included in the pack, the meal itself would have been fairly tasteless except for the salt-burst in the corned beef. I ordered fresh squeezed orange juice (to push my order total higher and thereby to avoid delivery fees). That was really good juice! It was expensive, but it was really good. To my mind, this place is a step below a diner. I'm traveling and chose this from the delivery options available to me. I won't be choosing this place again.
