    The Goopfellas Pizza

I LOVE Goop Kitchen! The Goopfellas pizza and dairy free ranch are the best!! I also really like the hot Bianca pizza. I've ordered online twice from this location and the pickup process was easy and convenient.

I've ordered goop kitchen from a different location in the past. But seriously, this is my first order from Pasadena and the salmon is so tiny. It's $22 with taxes and fees. Include tip and it's almost 30$. This isn't cool. I'm so tired of getting the bare minimum. The salad has more dressing than actual lettuce leaves. It would be nice to have more lettuce. Honestly the best looking item is the egg. But an extra egg is $4 Also rice is cold, it's like the rice has been sitting all morning.

    Blackened Salmon Bowl

Goop Kitchen is now open at the Allied Food To Go ghost kitchen located in the City of Pasadena. They offer nutritious meals and a variety of gluten-free options like hearty bowls, salads, and handhelds. Orders can be made online via the Goop app or website at order.goopkitchen.com. For a quick lunch, I got the Blackened Salmon Bowl. A bed of quinoa and brown rice was layered with seared salmon, creamy avocado, and crisp vegetables. Very colorful and tasty dish. I got it with herby aioli which was a nice complement. Salmon was delicious, but I wished it could have been a bit bigger because I love salmon. I would have loved a whole avocado instead of half of one. The vegetables were very fresh and crunchy. Sesame seeds were a nice touch. Overall, it was a wonderful and yummy dish. I would get it again. I look forward to trying their other healthy and nutritious dishes in the near future. Highly recommend Goop Kitchen!

    Fall Harvest Chopped Salad

surprisingly great salads for a ghost kitchen but a bit pricey. The Japanese sweet potatoes were well roasted but could have used a sauce. The blackened salmon came with a great lemon forward aioli. Both the fall chopped salad and Cobb were very good especially with the unique dressings. the added chicken was moist and flavorful. Will definitely order again for a healthy and light dinner.

I ordered thru Uber Eats the Queen Marghuerita Pizza, Chicken Soup and Caesar Salad, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Brownie. The food is healthy and delicious. The food description is precise as well as the options. I would order or go into the restaurant again.

The carrots cooked unpeeled and shriveled looking. The sauce provided tasted strongly of cayenne. Too hot to enjoy.

We were seated quickly on the roof, right by the fire as the sun set, which created a warm and relaxed atmosphere perfect for a memorable visit. Sammy, was our server she had the best recommendations and delivered attentive, friendly service that made the experience extra special. We started with cocktails, all fantastic, with the White Lady and Gran Sour standing out as favorites among the group. For starters, the Brussel Sprouts, grilled cheese dippers, and the bread with whipped duck fat butter were all delicious, the bread and butter being especially indulgent. For entrees, the Stroganoff was amazing--comforting and perfectly seasoned, and served in a cute Dutch oven. The pork chop with mango chutney was also outstanding, pairing well with Cajun spices. I'm already planning a return visit to try the miso brown butter chicken and to explore the dessert menu. Overall, Granville offered a superb combination of superb service, strong cocktails, and standout dishes, all enjoyed in a stunning rooftop setting. I'll definitely be back to see Sammy again and to continue exploring the menu.

The hostess and our server (both occasions we dined here) were extremely friendly and really made our dining experience very enjoyable. Very lovely ambience. First time we came here was for my wife's birthday. We came for brunch and it happened to be Mother's Day Weekend. We were a bit bummed because the only reason I made reservations to have brunch here was specifically because they had Crab Cake Benedicts on the menu (my wife's favorite). However, when we arrived I noticed it was not on the menu. I asked our server and he mentioned it was removed literally only for that day, and replaced with a "special" Smoked Salmon Benedict. I really wish they had just added the Smoked Salmon Benedict as a special, rather than replace the popular Crab Cake offering all together. Anyhow - frustrations aside, we ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict, and honestly it was still very very good. My wife was happy with it and that's all that mattered lol. The smoked salmon was tasty, and the eggs were cooked perfectly, nice and runny for both of us. The potatoes were amazing. Very crispy! For dessert, we got the chocolate cookie skillet with the ice cream. I can't remember the exact name of it, but it was really good. Tip: ask for extra ice cream. The scoop it comes with is a little small compared to the size of the cookie. We still felt unfulfilled though, and so we came back 2 weeks later for brunch a 2nd time, and this time we called ahead to make sure they had the crab cake Benedicts back on the menu. Couldn't risk it! LOL. The crab cake Benedict was good. Maybe I set my expectations too high haha, but it was still good. My wife and I both ordered it. This time, my eggs were unfortunately way over cooked. I didn't want to complain or anything, so I just ate it. Luckily my wife's eggs were runny and cooked perfectly. Also the potatoes were not as crispy this time. Conclusion - The food is good. First time we came here it was better than the 2nd time, and this was only 2 weeks apart, and ordering basically the same thing, eggs Benedicts. As mentioned, 2nd time my eggs were over cooked. We still really LOVED dining here and definitely will be back soon to try their dinner since both times we came here was for brunch only. The ambience was really amazing truly. We've only sat on the patio, but it was very peaceful, not too loud, and felt quite romantic. Parking: There is valet, but both times we came for brunch (around 10:30am) and found street parking very close by. I would imagine street parking could be harder at different times of the day, but for early brunch there was plenty of street parking available.

The ambiance is actually great. It has a quirky, old-style pub feel with some interesting artwork on the walls. The service, however, moved at a very slow pace. If you're looking to nurse a pint and contemplate life, it's perfect. If you're actually hungry, you might start eyeing the table decor. We sat down for an early dinner and the food was a mixed bag. Ordered Apps. Popcorn chicken and onion rings. They were what was expected as far as flavor. The Shepherd's Pie was a little devoid of seasoning. The House Burger was okay. It won't offend you, but it certainly won't make you write home about it. The Short Rib was the almost the lone survivor and hero of the evening but there was a tragic error. Serving warm flavorful meat on cold, old risotto is a bold move...and not in a good way. At least the price was right (shoutout to the BOGO passport). It's a neat little spot to grab a drink and soak in the atmosphere, and watch some sports on their TVs. As far as dinner goes, it's a one-and-done adventure for us.

Had a dinner reservation with some girlfriends celebrating two of their birthdays. The restaurant itself isn't too big but it does a pack a nice punch. Cute patio out front that takes some of the sidewalks and streets. Plenty of heat lamps which helped with the chilly nights. We got seated at one of the tables on the patios which was nice. Didn't really utilize inside area except for the restroom which it's quite cute in there. The rooms were pretty well decorated and executed. Nice bar area too. Like mentioned, we got seated on the patio and the heat lamps were great. Down to the menus, it's quite limited on dishes. Seemed like there were more shared plates versus the entrees. Drinks, it was fairly decent with their cocktails and wine. Service at the beginning was great. The staff were amazing and very friendly. We didn't order right away as we were still waiting for the last one to show. But did start off with some drinks. It didn't take that long for the first round which was nice. Food wise, the shared plate was a mixture of everything. Some of the olives, which is exactly what it is. The Belgian fries, nice thick cut fries with shredded pecorino cheese and a nice aioli sauce. We ended up getting a second order of it. The albacore tuna crudo was a hit which was really tasty. Chili ginger relish, mint and shallot, can't go wrong with that. Lastly the meatballs, tasty and very great for sharing. Entrees, the pan seared sea bass which I loved. Portion is pretty tiny which also seemed like they were a shared plate. Almost tapas styled. Nice chimichurri sauce and a side salad. The chicken Milanese also with a side salad of arugula. Simple dish but quite tasty. One of the salads that was somewhat hyped up by the waitress but it was just a salad. Decent but nothing major to rave about...lol... also the confit oyster mushrooms was major hit. Something that simple but quite tasty. And lastly the pan con tomate, rustic sourdough with tomatoes and burrata. Tasty as well. Overall the meal was good. From there, the second round of drinks did take a long time to arrive and with then plates that we shared, trying to get someone to clear the plates was another thing. Took a long for someone to clear the table before more items came. Even when the entrees came, all the empty starter plates were still there. And if someone did clear the plates, some was still left on the table. Finishing off the night, we did have the dessert which we tried all three. As it was two of our girlfriends birthday, they brought out a little bubbly for us to celebrate with the dessert. That was quite sweet and nice. Honestly opinion with the dessert, they were just ok. Nothing major to rave about. We tried all three on the menu and they were just ok. Overall, the food was great. Service was nice and the staffs were all very friendly. It did take a while for plates to get cleared from the table and second round did take a while, but it was manageable. It was a sweet gesture with the bubbly with the dessert which was greatly appreciated. The place is nice and great for catching up. Menu is limited and portions are quite small. You would have to get a good amount for sharing. Entrees, depending on what you order is small as well. But we enjoyed ourself.

Very obliging and accommodating. Food: 5 stars, surprisingly good, right amount for us. I was full but I can see where other reviewers say portions are small. It's small if u're a heavy eater. But the quality is definitely there. Ambiance: trendy, high energy, casual vibes where u can lounge and have a beer while munching on fries...or u can choose to be poshy and have a glass of wine with a salad and Chilean sea bass. It's flexible to accommodate both as there are different sections. Parking: street metered 1 hour parking. 3 stars, not their fault but 1 hour is simply not enough. It can get super busy and the server can be pulled left and right, so cut them some slack during super busy hours. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended .

LATE REVIEW…read more Finding little neighborhood gems when it comes to food has always been an exciting experience for me. Having family alongside makes the journey more special. We chose Holy Saints to announce our baby's gender with our parents and we had an amazing time during our intimate dinner here. The restaurant's ambiance was the perfect combination of homey and inviting. It is a smaller place and the number of tables are limited so I highly suggest making a reservation when dining here. During our dinner, it was a bit difficult to have a full blown conversation as the place was packed with guests when we came plus the loud background music that was playing the whole night. Service and food were nothing but amazing! Their menu is very limited. Maybe not everyone will appreciate that, but I think it is more intentional on what is being served to the table. Our highlight of the night was the Grandpa's Pan Roasted Duck Magret Au Poivre for sure. It was so tender on the inside and crispy on the outer edges! We never had a meal like that elsewhere and we will for sure be back just because of it.

Got together with friends for an overdue dinner at Holy Saints on a Saturday evening. Made a…read morereservation for 7:15 and got seated quickly (didn't have to wait for the other couple). I ordered the bread plate and the BBQ butter was unique and really good. Friends ordered the griddle cakes and potato appetizers, both very good and decent portion sizes. For dinner my husband got the lamb (because they were out of the catch of the day which he was looking forward to), I got the pasta without prosciutto, friends got the shrimp and grits (head on shrimp hard to manage when they are covered in sauce but it was very tasty) and he got the same pasta dish as me with the prosciutto. We all agreed the food overall was better than good. The service felt strange. We were greeted with a friendly smile but once we started ordering dinner and made a joke about wanting to make a substitution (which we knew ahead they don't do) it felt like things changed. Maybe it was earlier when one of us asked if they could close the front door because it was drafty and cold (no they can't close the front door). Can't quite put a finger on it. Our reservation was at 7:15. By 8:30 the place was empty except for us. We were finishing up but weren't done. We weren't offered a dessert menu but instead they started putting up the chairs and by 8:45 they turned some of the lights off. They close at 9 but it was obvious they all wanted to get things closed up so we got our check and left. Overall, $250 for 4 people produced a tasty meal for each of us but in Pasadena where we have a LOT of choices we probably won't be back. Especially when a place states "no substitutions" and they also won't accept any requests for meat to be cooked to a certain temp. To me that seems to indicate the kitchen staff is either handcuffed, or they are unable to act on the fly if someone needs to make a change or wants their meet cooked medium well. I want to 100% enjoy my meal and experience when I go out and spend good money and Holy Saints wasn't that for me.
