First off, the location and service was great and very hip. I got the braised chicken which was overall good and something I felt good about eating though it could use a little something flavor-wise, maybe a little lime squeezed over the top? The ratio of meat to rice to veggies was good and I didn't feel like there needed to be more of any of them. 5 of us went to breakfast after searching for a place in the Tampa area. The 2 star review was not because of the food but more about what I was told was the owner's policy on providing water and other things for their guests. After getting a text page to come pick up our food, after the point of sales when we went to pay for our food, asked us if we wanted to add a tip with several suggested percentages. Since we were there for the first time, we assumed once they meals were ready they we bring the food to us, since they requested us to considered providing a tip. We found out we get texted to come get our food. So we were asked to tip for telling them we wanted while standing inline, like we were at McDonald's and then to find out we had to go back inside to get our own food and bring it to our table. That was one nothing but when we asked for some water with our food, some of us had coffee, we were told they do not provide tap water with your meals unless you are sitting inside at a limited seated breakfast bar. Otherwise you have to buy bottled water. I was so annoyed, I picked up my food tray from outside and went inside and sat the bar and asked for couple of glasses of water. I was told I was limited to 1 glass of water. I was stunned after spending with tip $80+ for breakfast. I thought the employee was kidding but he said it was the "owner's policy" and when asked for butter for the 2 orders of waffles I was told they don't provide butter with their waffles? Since when is providing a glass of tap water with your meal is dependent on where you sit and then is limited to 1 glass per guest? I think the owner(s) needs to rethink their definetion of hospitality and the butter offering. It's like selling hamburgers and not providing ketchup or other standard condiments that would go with a burger. The level of disregard for the guest was unbelievable. I will not be back and will spend my dining dollars with those restaurateurs who understand the concept of traditional hospitality. read more

First time checking out Armature Works from a recommendation from a local friend. We wanted breakfast and saw a small line at Graze 1910. All five of us got different items to try them out and everything was delicious. The BYO Bowl was very filling, the chicken and waffles were crispy and so good, the smoked salmon benny was light and refreshing with the side salad, and the brioche egg sandwich with bacon were also a hit. We took advantage of the nice weather and sat outside to enjoy our breakfast. Definitely will come back if we're ever in Tampa again. read more

The food is fantastic and beautiful. Tried the avocado egg salad and it was one of the best avocado dishes I've ever had. Just the right amount of citrus and brightness on whole grain bread. The waffles were also wonderful, made fresh, crisp on the outside, soft and airy on the inside with a hint of orange flavor behind the sweetness. The place is brand new and still needs to work out the service kinks, though. The ordering and service process took a long while. The line to order is slow (a second register would help tremendously) and even though they took my mobile number to text me when the food was ready, I didn't see them texting anyone. Instead, they're just shouting out names. I assume this will all work itself out, though, and the fantastic food in an outstanding location should carry Graze to success. Food is ok- can use more flavors and it is overpriced. Their order takers/ servers are always too busy gossiping & make customers feel like you're interrupting them when you make an order... Several friends and I were sitting by a table and heard the owner making fun of a homeless man that was inside the market. The man was not bothering anyone, he was just sitting there trying to hide from the rain outside. I found it extremely unacceptable and unprofessional for an owner of a business to make nasty comments like that. Definitely will never support this place again. read more

By far and away my favorate eatery at Armature Works!! They have a Burger 1910 on the menu that is fantastic and the Tuna Tartine is crave worthy!! Plus the "Gravy" Croissant Waffle Brunch Item is a huge favorite. We go here 1-2 times a week and it is consistent and amazing! read more

Been to Armature works a few times now, and this place so far has been the biggest let down. Came in later on a busy Sunday, so I'm understanding but they were out of everything....alright, I ordered a Ray Rays with Tuna to go. I got home and found out I had gotten a fried chicken sandwich?!? So I was over charged. Then I figured I would call and speak to someone but I couldn't get anyone on the phone. Won't be going back. Also, only takes credit (no cash) which upsets me. Server blew me off when I expressed frustration (-after already ordering, I should have just cancelled my order at that point) telling me they don't have space for a safe or cash storage. Kinda interesting considering this is one of the bigger venues in Tampa. You have room to rent out offices but no place to store a drawer?? read more

I have probably eaten at Graze 15+ times and introduced many people to Graze. About 2 months ago a short haired redhead had attitude with me when they messed up my order. Today that same redhead, Katie, treated me and my friends with the worst service I've ever received at a restaurant. When the manager, Raymond, approached my table after I asked for her name, he came off as condescending and dismissive. He also then returned to the counter to only stare down and my table and laugh it off. After reading through reviews I can see I'm not the only one who has a problem with Katie and Graze's customer service. It's unfortunate that Graze has the potential to be great - wonderful food and environment in Armature Works - but lacks customer service and overall respect for its customers. They lost a customer and her friends today. read more

Not vegetarian friendly. As a vegetarian, I wanted to exchange the protein (only bacon, sausage, etc) for a veggie in the BYO bowl and they said "no." Then, I said, "Fine- just put it on the side" (so I could give it to my boyfriend) and they said "No." I understand "No substitutions," but that was terrible customer service. read more

I've been to Graze two times and both I was disappointed. I tried the spicy and crispy sandwich and the burger and the potato side, which was bland and boring. It was nothing to leave a review about until I had a rude interaction with the staff my final visit. First the cashier was not welcoming at all and rude and blunt when answering my questions, which was the first red flag. After a few bites into the sandwich I got I realized it was undercooked and went to the counter. A man working there told me that it was fine it was just the marinade that made it look pink and it was edible, and was very blunt and rude. It wasn't the marinade it was obviously undercooked and after eating just a part of it I was very nauseous and sick. It was very disappointing and I will not eat there again. read more

Ordered spicy chicken sandwich, went up to the counter 15 min later to check on it, was told that it was coming up and that I wasn't able to sit at the bar bc they were cleaning it, sat back down at my table, walked back over 5 minutes later, asked someone else about my order. She had no idea. Called the owner/manager, he handed me a $10 bill for the sandwich and that was it. Did not offer anything else. The food looked good. Wish I could have tried it. read more

Very inflexible. I understand that they have a vegan bowl with a vegan option for those who choose to eat vegan. But refusing to allow me to PAY to add a a protein to it when you allow protein to be added to other bowls makes no sense, especially when there is no other option to build your own bowl from scratch but this one (I wanted to add the tuna option). My wife, who does not eat meat, asked if she could substitute her protein for a vegetable and they said no problem. Just pick another vegetable. However, they charged her for the extra vegetable without stating they would. I went across the hall to Zukku and ordered what I wanted without any issue. I will not return. read more

Love this place! My favorite breakfast is only $6! The turkey sausage is a must try. I recommend sitting at the counter. The staff is super friendly and accommodating.
