I chose the hot tea which was presented in a nice porcelain teapot with cup. The hot tea was typical 'Chinese restaurant' hot tea. The choices on the buffet were fantastic and varied. Everything tasted fresh & clean. Nothing I ate contained any warmed-over 'gloopy' consistency which can occur at many buffets. My server was very attentive & extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. I left several dollars cash tip as i was very pleased with service. (Yes, you should tip at Buffet restaurants if good service is received). My table was always attended to & the entire staff was genuinely interested and enthusiastic. read more

I have never been to a Chinese buffet this large. Very nice atmosphere. Service was great from Daphne. Took kids and they absolutely loved it. So much variety it was mind boggling. I even tried the sushi. Not bad. Not great but definitely not bad! Wife had been earlier in the week and we decided to go back as a family. No issues with getting a table at 8 pm on a Saturday night. I like this place. I enjoy the scenery. Very Clean. The waitresses are very polite and always accommodating. The chicken wings here are the best I have eaten, even if you go here just for the wings - the buffet price is worth it. They are delicious! I also enjoy the fresh sushi, made by a sushi chef right there in front of you. Their soups are also really good. Those are the menu items I come in for and I feel like the buffet price is fair for that. Some items on the hot bar, such as sesame chicken or the other entrees do lack in flavor - but I only really come to this restaurant for the soup, sushi, and chicken drumsticks. I did realize that the food bar is not as fresh from about 2-4 pm, so I would not advise going in during these times. But really great dining experience, especially for a Chinese buffet. read more

I came at about 4:00pm on a weekday. It wasn't very busy and most of the food was cold. A lot of trays were close to empty so maybe this was still from lunch? I don't know if coming at a busier time the food would be hot and fresh but I won't be finding out. I don't plan on returning. It just wasn't good. I normally wouldn't hand out 5 stars for a Chinese buffet, but I am for this venue! First I was most impressed was with the decor and setup of this Chinese buffet. It has a very good ambiance and was very spacious. When compared to other Chinese buffets I visit they are normally small and compacted and not as clean. The food was very good and enjoyed most of it. I know for Chinese buffets sometimes people complain about the quality of food, but let's be quite frank it is a Chinese buffet. If you want perfect Chinese cuisine you normally don't go to a buffet. I came to indulge in the food and that's exactly what happened. They have a wide variety and selection of food to choose from. The owners are very nice and when there was any complications I was able to get help. I do know that the servers might not speak English very well, but overall the service was exceptional. This was my favorite asian buffet place since it is located near where we live but I and my family will never go to this place ever again. I and my family went there on Sunday for late lunch. We arrived around 13.10 and by 13.30 while I was eting my food the waiter gave us the bill and said "Have a great day!" We paid the bill by 13.53 and when the waiter picked the the bill from our table I asked him "Why did you give us the bill so fast, I haven't get my dessert yet and I even haven't finished my food? He answered "You see the restaurant is full." Couldn't believe what I heard, of course I asked to speak with the manager. This is the worst and the most rude service ever. The manager said sorry. This was an In-And-Out run. The wait was 2 hours so we went to GWSB instead. This would have been a 4 star if not for the funky oysters. Everything looked and tasted great. Great for a buffet that is. When you get to oysters, it's scary. They are discolored and smell bad. They should look bright not dark brownish grey. I tried an oyster to see if I'd get sick. I'm not going to write a super long review on this one. It's a massive restaurant with a buffet that is large but much smaller than what you'd expect at a restaurant of this size. The food was very mediocre for a Chinese buffet and the prices were a bit higher than other buffets of this type. I didn't find anything particularly good here but everything was edible and I was able to fill my craving. Pretty decent Chinese buffet. Food flavor was good, large restaurant and very clean. I don't go to Chinese buffets very often but in glade I came to this one. Most places have crab legs but this one dies not but they did have everything else. They have a full salad bar.. Beef carving station, beef ribs, egg drop, seafood, sweet and sour and wonton soup . Lots of assigns eat here as well so I know it's pretty tasty. Dessert is good because they have fruit, cookie, cakes, and ice cream bar. They have sushi area as well but it prob won't tsar like a sushi place . I would come here again lol read more

I was impressed by the modern, attractive layout of this buffet restaurant and their large variety of items. The server was also very attentive and friendly. The prices were also reasonable. They have a very large variety of Chinese, Korean and Japanese (sushi rolls) food. As mentioned before, there were several types of excellent soup. I tried the hot & sour soup, which was too spicy for my taste and sampled at least ten of the Chinese entrees. All were of just average quality. The sushi rolls were also average at best. I was impressed that they had ample quantities of peel & eat shrimp and raw oysters, but I didn't sample them. All in all, despite the visually attractive and impressive decor and buffet presentations, the food was just o.k. If you don't mind average Chinese food quality in exchange for a good variety of choices, this restaurant would be o.k. It is one of the better Chinese buffets we have tried. read more

My family and I went here with a large group after a martial arts tournament. Even though we didn't have a reservation they were able to quickly seat our party, which was close to 20 people. The buffet has just about any type of "Asian" cuisine you could ask for, and some western dishes for the kids. I'm the only person in my family that likes Chinese food, and I found most the dishes to be very good. My wife and kids were a little less than impressed with the non-Chinese offerings. Always hovering over the table to see what we've gotten to eat and always asking how many people we have after counting several of times. I've read most of the other reviews and while some are on point, others are a bit extreme. First of all, its a buffet - so you can't expect that everything is going to be in tip-top condition (such as temperature, appearance) at all times. But, there is a nice selection of entrees that should appeal to mostly everyone. The price is reasonable. When I initially started going here I was surprised that they added such a generous gratuity for the wait staff (again, this is a buffet). But I think because the wait staff know that they are guaranteed a tip, they are very accommodating. Now, the food quality has declined over time. That being said, we started opting for the take out menu. Let me tell you, the take out is amazing. Fresh. Generous portions. Reasonable priced. So, for those who aren't impressed by the buffet, do yourself a favor and order from the regular menu. read more

Nothing great or memorable and a few of the entrees just down right didn't taste very good at all. The best thing any of us ate were the vegetarian spring rolls. The desserts were so ordinary and mostly the same old pre-packaged standard Chinese buffet desserts that I didn't even both with them. Since there was nothing special about the buffet, I would have given them a two or three star rating EXCEPT all three of us got sick. I had it the worse and won't go into the horrible, unappetizing details but I suffered for a few days with painful cramps and worse (which was made all the more terrible because I paid to have this done to me. Horrible, I say!). I probably should have called the health department but since I didn't go to the doctor I decided to just write this review instead. Went in with my family because I heard it was pretty good. The whole time the waiters kept giving us looks as if we weren't supposed to be there, which made my family obviously uncomfortable. There are not a lot of Chinese buffets around. We went right when it opened at 11am today. There were only like 3 tables of people and not all the food was placed out. Come to find out the health department was there and stopped other customers from coming in and suspended the permit. We got the food for free, but I mean why they didn't tell us that they had to close down. I've been to EVERY single asian buffet in the Arlington area and no place can match this one. Maybe Uno in Irving but that's it. The decor is awesome, food selection more unique than most, and workers seem to care more. SIX soups, 2-3 diff types of ribs, The only downside, and I'm nitpicking, is that the lo mein is made with spaghetti noodz. =_= read more
