The WORST Chinese restaurant in Ahwatukee. I wouldn't even give this to my dog. Completely disgusting. No flavor. Unclean "dining room." Do not order here. The food is repulsive, inedible, and far from what others can offer in the area. They are cheap, old school thinking, no sense of imagination, or want to attract and keep customers. The wontons were all fried with nothing on the inside. I mean nothing. No cream cheese, no crab.... nothing. The won ton soup sucked a donkey's cheeks. Frozen!!! The broccoli permeated the broth. Love them! Family run business and the food is delicious. They have tables for dine-in, but I think most people probably use carry out most often. Not the best ambience, but I think the food makes up for it if you do want to sit down and eat in the restaurant. Highly recommend them. read more

Enjoyed three entrees this evening. Moo shu pork with yummy pancakes to roll them into with hoisin sauce House fried rice and large won ton soup. Food was take out and hot and fresh when I got home. So I gave them a call and ordered Moo Shu Pork and two egg rolls plus I went with an order of Mongolian Beef. I would rate the food as followed. Moo Shu Pork - A Mongolian Beef - C Egg Rolls - B + I gave the Mongolian Beef a C because I could hardly find the crispy rice noodles that made it just so full of onions and really not what I was hoping for. This has nothing to do with Covid. I keep having to beg for more rice. I ordered two larger entrees and they only gave me one container of rice to go with the meals which means four people got a tablespoon of rice. The whole purpose of eating out is so you don't have to go home and cook more rice. Not going back!!! I'll dine elsewhere where they aren't so stingy! We live really close by, so when we were looking for an authentic Chinese restaurant we stumbled upon this place. I usually get the orange chicken or sweet and sour chicken and he usually gets the egg foo young. I usually call beforehand and wait an extra five minutes after the time they prompt us before I go grab the food. Other than that, it's been reliable and the people seem really nice. The inside of the restaurant is the typical vibe for a Chinese restaurant and the portion sizes are great. I definitely recommend it. read more

Solid, mid-week choice for takeout Chinese. It's a bit greasy, and the Mongolian Beef comes with 3/4's onions. So if you don't like onions...or at least not an entire onion patch (do onions grow in patches? I'm not sure. Fields?) in your dish, ask them to hold it. Small indoor restaurant with BIG flavors. Glad I tried this place instead of going grab a burger. The lemon chicken was to die for, perfectly crispy and tangy sauce makeup a delectable entree. Shrimp Lo Mein was amazing as well, not too fried with oil like other places. My wife really enjoyed the pot stickers, I could take em or leave em. Service was polite. We decided on Chinese this evening. Our usual place was closed, decided to try Great Wok. Looked up menu online, the prices weren't correct. Went to pick up order and the menu had handwritten adjustments for the items. This is understandable, inflation. The fact that I couldn't get accurate pricing online was irritating. Onto the food, we picked up some standard dishes, Mongolian beef, and egg foo young, soup, crab puffs. Based on our choices, you'd expect pretty standard fair. The egg foo young sauce was sickeningly sweet. The patties were decent sized, but it was very difficult to find any protein within. The Mongolian beef, tasted fine, but was mostly comprised of 'filler' dry noodles. Hot and Sour soup was lacking any protein, from my experience at previous Chinese places, they usually add something more than veg when you order a full size item. I would not recommend this place. Overpriced and just not great food. Customer service was lacking, though this is common in Chinese restaurants. (Not racist, as I am Chinese as well) Though not the worst Chinese I have had, this place would get a 2/10. Panda Express would have been a better choice. read more

Great place to eat around the clock, everything is great but you MUST try to crab puffs as they are little bites of heaven. Staff is always friendly when taking out, or eating in. The decor inside is dated, however this business mostly shows how good it is when you taste that first bite. The plus is that they do deliver incase you don't want to go out to grab the food, and I've never had a bad experience nor gotten sick like at other Chinese food places. Omg just about the worst Chinese I have ever had! I ordered the Yu Shang shrimp and scallops and it was too sweet and they didn't even ask me how spicy I wanted it. The hot and sour soup is about the worst I have had and I ordered a large so ended up dumping all the soup out. Even the veggie egg rolls were inedible for my taste. A friend suggested we try this place instead of a well-known chain that we frequent, and we are officially converts. The first night we had the honey chicken and shrimp and wonton soup. The soup was full of interesting things like pork, and large veggies and a huge wonton. The honey chicken and shrimp were both great - lightly fried but not greasy, and the sauce had just enough spice to it. The portion size was very generous. The next time I didn't get to join, but my husband went with his son and they tried a different soup and the cashew chicken, as well as the honey chicken and shrimp again. The soup was also full of nice surprises and both chicken dishes were wonderful. Both of them had enough left over for another meal. The servers were very nice and the food came out very quickly and was fresh and hot. I hope the carry out and delivery orders are enough to keep them going, because both nights the restaurant was nearly empty. But we will be back again soon. read more

Don't listen to any bad review about this place. I've had it multiple times and this time has topped the cake. Got Mongolian Beef and Cashew Shrimp. Always get a side of Crab puffs and every was delicious. Perfect flavors. Sometimes people forget that just because a place is in a well off neighborhood, there are still homegrown food places that serve delicious blue collar food.
