TOPPINGS FROM HOME (reese's oreos, chocolate toffee pistachios, and nutella if you were curious tho)
    Isabel K.

me and my friends were OBSESSED with Nami (7th st) like 12 years ago, kinda forgot about it, started craving it recently, and FINALLY made our way back (to this location). YES you can tell the difference between this soft serve and "regular" soft serve, but that doesn't make it any less delicious, some would just say different‍ LOL. me and my bestie both got their fluffynutter'n tsoynami, she got hers with chocolate soft serve and i got a swirl. DELICIOUSSSS! i did go home and top it with some of my current obsession snacks (it had to be done) and it was the most satisfying end to my night i could've asked for. service was EXCEPTIONAL. i wish i got the name of the man helping us, but he was super patient and kind while i was asking a bunch of questions and talking away. the restaurant is also large, spacious, and clean. they have a cute patio attached to their space as well! i will be back ASAP

Have come here many times. The staff are always very friendly, the food comes out pretty quickly and is delicious. My go to is the street burger and east coast fries. Fun decorations / vibes and they host different trivia events.

Green New American Vegetarian has been my go-to vegetarian restaurant for many years. This location is the original. There's also a location on 7th Street in Phoenix. Some of my favorite menu items are: Hummus - They recently have taken this off their menu, but I really hope it comes back someday. This is my favorite hummus. Warning: it will give you very strong garlic breath, but it's worth it! Big Wac - Their take on the Big Mac. I recently tried this with a mock chicken patty instead of the mock beef patty, and I liked it even more. It was the best mock chicken that I've ever eaten. It comes with fries, which are some of the best fries I've ever eaten. Highly recommend! Soynami - Their take on the Dairy Queen Blizzard. This is a dairy-free treat. They have a ton of different toppings that can be added. I sometimes just stop in for a soynami instead of a meal, since they are quite large. My boyfriend, who is not vegetarian, also enjoys this restaurant. There's definitely something for everyone!

Yesterday's visit we had the Damn Dan Noodles and Fleetwood Wac. Perfectly delicious food with generous portion sizes as usual!

I love Green! Had a craving for a burger, fries, and a shake and the "Fleetwood Wac" delivered. I love that they use Beyond patties but give them a Green twist by pressing them and mixing in some of their own spices, etc. The thyme fries always satisfy and I'm a big sucker for my usual PB N Chocolate Tsoynami with added cookie dough. I couldn't resist getting an order of the Damn Dan Noodles to try later, and they were epic! Tons of traditional Dan Dan flavor with some strong spice. Highly recommend this dish! Inside, it was so exciting to see "Art 4 Animals" for sale on the hallway walls and in the bathroom. I walked away with something SUPER cool. See you again soon, Green!

    Golden Curry Bowl

I'm not vegetarian but have cut down on meat over the years. Green New American popped in my search and it sounded good so we gave it a try. As others have noted, the inside is unique and eclectic. There's no table service so you order your food, get assigned a table flag, and they'll bring your order to you. Overall the food was very good. The fried Brussels were cooked well but I gotta say that there was too much salt. It would have been perfect otherwise. The Damn Dan Noodles were delish! I substituted the "beef" with fried tofu and I was very happy. The taste was superb! I'd come back for this again. The golden curry bowl was also good but it didn't lack the flavor punch as the Damn Dan Noodles. All dishes came out piping hot which I do notice. The staff at the counter were friendly and inviting. The minor bummer is that the floor between the front and back was sticky.

    Burger with bacon and cheese

I was so excited to check this place out since everything looks amazing on IG. The menu was stacked with delicious sounding items, so it was really hard to choose. We tried a couple of things - the mushroom Swiss special, crab, rangoon, and a burger with bacon and cheese. Everything we had was delicious. Even my meat eating brother was devouring everything. The mushroom Swiss was my favorite with its house made seitan roast beast, melty Swiss, grilled button mushrooms, and caramelized onions. Too bad it was just a special. It was nice and juicy/greasy in the best way possible. The fries were nice and crispy. The crab rangoon were good, but there wasn't much of a crab flavor so I would probably not order those again. That is fine with me, because I want to try everything else on the menu. They also had a very extensive list of shake flavors. Too bad we were too stuffed to try them.

    Chicago Cheesesteak
    Deanne M.

I ordered the Chicago Cheesesteak, Lemon- Garlic Bowtie pasta, Thyme fries, and the Life's a Peach for dessert. The Cheesesteak was divine! The dessert was well worth the calories. The fries and pasta were not particularly tasty, lacked seasoning and in the interest of not being wasteful - will be shared with the unsheltered gentleman I see as I walk to work.

    My Green Tangerine Bowl

If you are vegan or vegetarian, would for sure recommend! They had a large menu with lots of variety. And while you could definitely tell the "meat" was not real meat, the food was tasty overall. Service was friendly. The food did take a while to come out, but it was hot and fresh.

Everything we tried was fantastic. We got a bunch of apps and dessert. I love their NA options too. The wings and brussel sprouts were my fav apps and the salad bowl we got was so much more filling and flavorful than I expected it to be. They had happy hour specials on the apps that made it a crazy good deal

The pizzas were always good, so we figured why not go eat there and try some other items. There were 12 of us, so we made sure to make a reservation ahead of time. Upon arriving, we had no issues. A couple of tables were ready and waiting for us. First impressions: The restaurant is big. There's a ton of space and seating. The vibes are nice. This location also has a big parking lot, so parking was not an issue at all. Once we were all seated, our waitress offered us drinks and gave us time to look through the menu. I must say, there's some pretty affordable happy hour items on there. However, I was really hungry and opted for a regular menu Toasted Da Vinci sandwich with a side of chips. No drink. The sandwich was delicious. I really liked it. The bread was toasted to perfection and it was quite flavorful. The chips were also excellent. They were perfectly crisp and seasoned. Probably some of the best I've had. The meal was a good portion and very filling (and I'm a big guy!). Overall, I had a good experience. I'd come here again for that sandwich.

I was surprised, I definitely didn't expect them to be so spicy but it was perfect because I love spicy food. I don't think I've ever had hot wings with that much spice. I got the Penne Alla Vodka and as always it was amazing. I'll definitely say it was better this time, it had so much sauce and the perfect amount of veggies. The sauce is so creamy and flavorful, I did add some chili flakes to give it a little kick. The sausage is delicious, it reminds me of the sausage from supreme pizzas. Everything together is the perfect bite, there's so many different flavors. The portion size is perfect. The food is definitely made with love. Our service was amazing, our waitress was friendly and catered to our needs. She made sure we had water and soda the entire time we were there. There was a little mess up with our order and she was very understanding about it. Like I've said before, I love the interior design. I think it's beautiful and looks very modern. The restaurant is spacious and has so many different seating options. I recommend checking it out!

First, the restaurant layout is very confusing and awkward. When you walk in, there is a menu stand by the door, which naturally makes you think you wait to be seated. The "Order Here" sign is placed high up near the ceiling, so it's easy to miss. To make matters worse, the ordering line, condiment station, and bathroom paths all cross over each other, causing a lot of unnecessary bottlenecking and walking through people waiting in line. As for the food: * The Fries: They were served in a large bowl, but the portion was mostly salty scraps and crumbs. It looked lost in the bowl and was disappointing for the price. * The Burgers: We ordered double bacon cheeseburgers and specifically asked for them to be well done. What we got were dense, hockey-puck-like patties that were somehow both undercooked and extremely greasy. The grease made the buns completely soggy and ruined the meal--I now understand why there are paper towels at the tables. * Quality & Price: Paying $45 for food that gave me a stomach ache through the next morning is just unacceptable. There seems to be a lot of hype around this place, but between the poor floor design, high prices, and lack of quality control in the kitchen, it fell completely short. Hopefully, management can look at the flow of the dining room and kitchen execution, but unfortunately, we won't be returning.

Everything is for sure dated... but what was the most disappointing, this is one of those places where everything is frozen. So no, fresh treats to enjoy now. I get it, gf doesn't sell fast, this is a great way to keep things "fresh" while having a large stock of options. So I grabbed a few things. It wasn't until after I checked out, I noticed those words. "VEGAN" I know I might be a minority here, but I get so tired of gf being grouped together with vegan. Sorry, not sorry.... vegan just isn't as good. I know a few products might work here and there, but majority, just isn't good. I would not of bought anything if I knew that ahead of time, and clearly yes, my fault for not reading the labels, but sometimes you get excited everything being gluten free, you don't bother with labels. I will say the scones were pretty ok. I would probably eat them again. They do a decent vegan frosting, but the items just tasted like happiness was sucked out of them. This is great for those kids with severe allergies! And I am happy they exist. It can be very hard to find these items, and a large variety at that. But this is not a place for non-gf people. This is not a place for celiac who enjoy foods that are enjoyable to eat.
