My family members and I split a few items together for lunch and it came out to ~$30 including tax and tip. The Jackfruit birria was pretty good, although I have no idea how it compares to actual birria because I've never had real birria! This a nice place with good food which offers vegetarian options. The music can be a little loud sometimes but it's generally good. We went there yesterday and noticed they had high chairs for kids which I really appreciated. When I had to change my daughter's diaper however, I had to struggle because they don't have a changing table. They have plenty of room for it in a nice gender neutral restroom (sometimes dads have to do the changing) so I don't think it would be something difficult for them to put yet would make a world of a difference to families with small kids. I love recommending this restaurant to my friends, because Green Tomato Grill makes healthy food that still tastes good and flavorful. While they have a variety of bowls and melts, my go-to order is the chimichurri chicken melt ($9.75). It consists of grilled chicken, arugula, broccoli, caramelized onion, sriracha bacon, and cheddar jack barely fitting into a flatbread. Not to mention, it comes with chimichurri sauce that tastes fresh and lightly tangy. As for beverages, they serve agave lemonade ($3.75) in three flavors: pineapple berry, cucumber ginger mint, and a seasonal flavor. They are a little sweet for me but usually taste good. My favorite is the cucumber ginger mint, because it's refreshing with a kick of a warm, citrusy flavor. Portions are just perfect, the taste is quality, and the prices are fair. I haven't had any trouble with the service so far. In fact, I stayed pretty late once (pre-pandemic), and they gave me a bag of free chili lime popcorn! Can't wait to come back! read more

I've been eating at Green Tomato Grill in Brea for the past 4 years since being diagnosed with Celiacs disease and developing a wheat allergy. I had the best experience at Green Tomato grill. I was very friendly greeted by Brandon when I came in and explained I'd be there for a while and wanted coffee and to order food later. He let me know I had rewards I could use. The coffee was nice and hot and full of flavor. The restaurant was super clean and the music wasn't too loud. I was able to get some work done and relax in a comfortable booth. When I ordered food I told Brandon I wanted to try something different and he was so friendly and helpful. The food as always was delicious. Before I left I used the bathroom which was immaculate (a huge plus!!!) When you first walk in, you stand in line to order your food and you are giving a placard and food to delivered to your table. The Groupon I purchased was for any two entrees and any two drinks. We didn't hear them call our name so we just waited at one of the tables. 20 minutes passed and we didn't hear them call our name. We went out of our way to go up and check on our orders. Our order was just sitting on the countertop by the cash register. There was no designated "pick up order" sign, so how were we supposed to know to pick it up? We eat here on Sunday just as they opened. I had a mediterranean burrito. The size was just right for me and it was serve quickly. The flavor was very good and I enjoyed it. What is wasn't impressed with the cleanse of the tables outside and the over all condition of the patio. It was the 1st thing in the morning. It looked like they hadn't cleaned up from the day before. I checked out the men's bathroom and it was dirty too.
