But when you owe you pay they deserve that hands down. But I take away from Jessica was her lack of human feeling. Banner Air installed an excellent heat pump. The technicians installed the unit in 100+ temperatures on the south side of the house--a multi day job, never complaining of the miserable heat. All the Banner Air technicians are professional, kind, respectful, knowledgeable, and caring. We had what we thought were a few problems, but Banner Air had technicians find the cause of the hum, which was solved by turning the fan to "auto" and a thermostat light which glowed too brightly at night. We didn't know how to turn it off but we were quickly instructed how to turn it off--problem solved. I honestly do not know if this company is still in business because nobody answers the phones even during normal business hours. I had an emergency the other night where we smelled gas in the house. After turning off the main and shutting off heaters and venting the house i call Banner Air, or tried to FOR HOURS . I left several messages and was always reverted back to what appeared to be chat with a AI Bot not a human after hours dispatch. The Bot seemed to even have concern that that gas leak is serious and that the emergency services are $210.00 and to call the Emergency Dispatch for immediate assistance at 661-312-5858 Which i have been calling 8 times leaving messages and looping back into chat with a Bot. So frustrating because ever since Ray Hubbell retired in 2022 i have used Banner Air with no issues. Jessica in the office was great and the last two guys that came out to service my A/C units Jeremy and Emanuel were very friendly knowledgeable and professional. What the hell happened? Im so frustrated with having an emergency and following their after hours instructions including chatting about my Delima with a Bot and just ghosted. Not a call back or anything despite them having a record of the chat and all my voicemail messages. I wanted a second opinion on a diag of my 18 year old a/c unit that quit blowing cold air this past weekend. They showed up immediately & actually tested (with meters) various components of my air conditioner. Their diagnosis was the same, a failing blower motor. Only problem was that no blower motor was available until one could be found, as all the warehouses had none for a unit that old. The first company I had come out wanted $16,000 for a replacement new unit. Greer's Banner Air did the entire job the very next day for $9,500. That alone saved me $6,500 !!! I would recommend them to anyone who wants honesty, integrity, courtesy & professionalism in a company. Called on Friday for service on our A/C, they were able to schedule us on Tuesday which is extremely quick given it is July and temps have been up to 115. Joseph was our service technician and he was extremely polite and thorough he went over our A/C cleaned and tightened up a couple things checked out thermostat and was going to check our air filter, it we change ours every 90 days so it was not necessary since we had just changed it July 1. This company offered us a great deal on spring and winter service. We will definitely be using them for all our A/C needs. I had my annual AC check-up to get ready for the Bakersfield summer. They found that my air compressor motor was going bad and should be replaced. Service tech came out on a Friday afternoon, they tried to fix our AC without success. I was advised to replace the unit. I tried contacting the office via email, phone, and left a message with their answering service. I realize they are closed on weekends but i never received any communication back from them. I called Monday at 8:15 and stated that we wanted to proceed with getting a new unit (at this point we were without a working AC for 4 days). I was told they had to work us into the schedule and they would call me back. It is currently 30 hours later and they have never called me back. I contacted another company and they are currently here installing a new AC unit. read more

So the other night our AC unit started leaking water in the house UGH! Called Banner yesterday ( Monday ) and they are so busy they couldn't get to us till Tuesday. Technician showed up when they said they would. I'm very disappointed in the service I received with the girls in the office. I've been told several different things concerning the warranty on my new VERY EXPENSIVE unit. I've done checking around, and Greer's is the most expensive for annual maintenance. I was first told, I could use ANY company for maintenance, then told I had too use THERE company. So which is it? This company seemed Very professional from the initial call to the quote and set up of the schedule. I was super happy until the day of installation . I got a phone call 2 hours after they were to be there. The owner or engineer who called told me that he had been out on vacation and was only now looking at the job (little late) and that my original installation was poor and he didn't think he could leave his technician's unsupervised to engineer it them selves. He would need to be there . and as there was a heat wave there were to many easy jobs he could do and make more money on so he was cancelling the installation, I asked can you just reschedule ? and he said no he had to much other work and I should find some one ells. This was no small job it was a complete system Ducts and all This is one of the most honest and unprofessional calls I have ever gotten. This was also done through go green using a REEL loan. Now I have to start all over again. and the reason this was canceled was out of pure profit and greed. Poor poor character. My guess is on a good day you may get good service but when busy you wont the question is how would they handle warrantee work ? based on my experience it must go to the very back of the list . read more

I called banner air to schedule an appointment to check on my air conditioning system. I already knew what the problem was since we had just had someone else come a few weeks ago since the original company we used to repair our ac unit was all slotted and didn't have any open appointments. We wanted to get the problem fixed asap and banner air was the only one with an open schedule. The tech came on time and was polite however he did not really open the unit to look at what the problem was he just glanced at the unit and suggested right away that we needed to buy a new unit and told us what we already knew. He was probably only there for 5-10 min. We were sent quotes on the cost of new units (with very little detail on the units themselves) which were overpriced so we ended up just paying the service fee and opting to look elsewhere. read more

I am so glad I found this wonderful company. They give it their all to get the job done. From technicians to office staff, they are kind and have always had a smile on their face. We had our gas fireplace stop working. Within a short time they had the problem figured out. I got a call with price and how soon they could get part and finish. The second tech spread out a tarp so he wouldn't get any dirt on our carpet. Our gas logs and embers were not in the correct order and he brought a paper with the correct layout and put it all back the right way, he replaced the broken part and the fireplace looked so beautiful with everything in order and the embers glowing with the flames.
