A very unfortunate skydiving spider took a dip in my friend's dipping sauce and she, along with another male worker whose name I didn't get, got us a replacement quickly. Cadence was chatty and friendly, very likable and comfortable to be around. Legit I'd come back just for her! Ask her about her cats & you're fast friends. I particularly appreciated how she handled giving out food & making sure we didn't get our fingers burnt by hot plates! I was hugely impressed by the gluten free burger bun, it tasted very good and as a texture junkie I approve of the texture. It was so nice to have a real, not lettuce wrapped burger for once! The only real negative was the seating arrangement on the patio had us with our backs literally against a rowdy group that were talking in a pretty vulgar manner, as is expected with a bar environment. For that reason I wouldn't recommend it for families with younger children. They were balanced out by a very friendly neighboring table, however, that took a picture for us! We chose this place for the vibe and food options. It was very busy and seating would take a little bit, but they offered us bar seating if we wanted to sit right away. We weren't really in a hurry, but we chose the bar. The bartender greeted us as we sat. Brought us water and menus. After a few minutes we ordered a couple beers on draft. After a bit of a wait we ordered a Cobb salad and a double smash burger with fries. While waiting for our food, we enjoyed our beers. It was a local beer that, Valhalla IPA. This was my first taste of alcohol in a year to the day. It was delicious! My goal was a year. This beer went down so well. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary, so why not. When our food came out we were pleasantly surprised. The Cobb salad was top tier! It had A LOT of everything and it was awesome! My burger and fries were outstanding! We were just having a great time. After walking around for a few hours this moment just hit right. The restaurant vibe, our conversation, food, beer, and our general happiness made this moment such a great time for us. We genuinely enjoyed this restaurant. They offered tables, booths, bar seating, and outdoor seating inside a small wall, and sidewalk seating as well. I didn't read any other reviews of this place. We were looking for a place to have dinner and this place looked great. The people dining looked happy, it was busy, and the food other diners were eating looked good. We really enjoyed Grill Marks. Beautiful day in Greenville so we decided to stop at Grill Marks Main Street. There are three seating areas available. Inside, outside covered and outside patio on the street. We opted for the outside covered. We decided on the Three for $10 fry and onions selection to go with our burgers. Hangover Burger and Impossible burger. Both burgers were good. There wasn't much BBQ sauce on the Hangover burger so asked for more ( we were charged 50 cents for it Waitress didn't mention that either! Lemonade is good and sharp! Bathroom was clean and tidy. Smelt like a bleach block. I was going to pay by scan on receipt but server insisted she did it on her machine. Minimum tip is 20% so I can see why . Super fun vibe, great place to stop for a drink and food after strolling downtown all day! Our waitress was friendly, and as attentive as one can be on a Saturday night! The food was phenomenal though! We ended up getting the 3 for $10 fries, which was quite the steal! The sweet potato fries are to die for, especially with that little sweet orange sauce they give you for dipping. I also got the sliders which were all delicious, any my husband also really enjoyed his burger which I believe was the Beer Essentials burger. I used to love Grill Marks. I would go often and took everyone that came to town to visit to eat here. Today, I was disappointed in the big changes to the menu. I came a month ago and got the hot honey chicken plate, but today, the waiter informed me that they no longer serve that unless I wanted to order it as a chicken sandwich. It also no longer includes fries in the $15 price, when it did just a month ago. My husband and I also love to order the "three way" for an appetizer and found that it recently was removed as a menu option as well. We loved getting the 3 fries option as an appetizer when out with friends since burgers didn't come with fries. If you want fries, the only option is a $10 appetizer or add fries onto your $15-20 sandwich for 5 extra dollars. The service has also gone down in quality over the past year as well, unfortunately. I'm unsure if the restaurant is under new management or just decided to start limiting menu options. This was our go-to spot downtown and super sad about the recent changes. read more

me and my friend went here a few months ago and the food was ok but the next day when I woke up with intense pain and went to urgent care and they told me I had gotten food poisoning and when asked what I ate the day before it was the burger and I called the restaurant to talk to the manager and they said they would get back to me and when they did they offered me a refund which I said was ok but I had paid in cash and they said they would return my call but they never called back never apologized and they said that they don't know how my food gave me food poisoning if they use fresh ingredients WOULD NOT RECOMMEND read more

These are on the much higher side and do not come with any fries or chips, you're just getting your burger. There is no note about this that we recall and our waiter definitely did not ask if we wanted to add any. This was disappointing especially for the price. Unfortunately our waiter came back out because they ran out of the homemade veggie burgers. Then we had ordered the K-pop burger for our daughter with the toppings on the side, the waiter dropped it off and didn't mention the fact they were out of the Asian crunchy slaw. This is my first time in South Carolina, and I randomly stumbled into this restaurant because I was starving. The moment I walked through the door, I was greeted and seated immediately by Jesse (the tall man) ; he was amazing! Truly a breath of fresh air. He recommended some great options, and I ended up getting the three-way fries. He was fantastic with refills and I never even had to ask. I could see he treated every table with the same level of care. The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, not expensive, and the portions were huge. They have a few different types of fries and we got the truffle Parmesan fries which were excellent. The kids meal comes on a cute little frisbee that was a nice added touch. First, the bison burger, double patty, ow wow!!! Second, the Chicken Corn Chowder isn't on the menu, but it has to be 1 of the top 3 foods I've ever eaten. Just try it, you'll go crazy over it.
