Yummy Thanksgiving dinner! I didn't care much for the cranberry stuff and green beans but everything else, yum!
    Marisa B.

Thanksgiving Dinner at Gurley St Grill turned out pretty decent. My son and I were originally going to go to Junction restaurant but it was an hour wait already(it was a little after 11 when we got there) so I decided to call Gurley St Grill and the lady said they have plenty of of seating, it's not busy at all. So I rushed down over and I'm so glad I did, although it wasn't busy the hostess people and manager had to stop giving seats to walk ins because they had been previously booked by other people. The manager gave me the huge booth by the window and said he can seat me if he thinks I'll be done by 1. It was 11:40 and we were done by 12:30. It worked out perfectly. My son and I got the turkey plate and they were BIG portions. My plate was $29 and my son received a smaller plate for $12, so not bad. The turkey and gravy were pretty good, not dry and the stuffing and mashed potatoes was okay, homemade version is always better but it was still good. The green beans, they could have flavored up those green beans like adding bacon bits or whatever, they were we just plain green beans. Then we each got a slice of pumpkin pie that we took home for later, it was good. I had a nice ipa from the draft and my son got a Shirley temple which he absolutely loved! His eyes lit up when he saw it!! Haha...what kid doesn't like a Shirley temple on Thanksgiving? Our waiter was so nice, friendly and prompt. Overall with the excellent customer service and ambiance of the store, huge Xmas tree, it was an enjoyable Thanksgiving dinner. I'll have to come back for a lunch meal sometime.

We've been waiting almost an hour... Finally got our appetizer. We think our waiter forgot to place our order. He seems new...

They have a large inside eating area but also a beautiful patio and the weather was perfect! I had the prickly pear cider, which was dry but crisp. They let my friend sample multiple wines before picking, which I thought was great choice and the pours were generous. They only have beer and wine from what I saw but a large selection! For dinner my grandpa had the beet salad which he really enjoyed but heavy on the dressing. My grandma had the chicken wrap, also delicious and enough for two meals! My friend and I shared the mahi mahi tacos and a chicken quesadilla. The portion was perfect. The tacos were phenomenal, some of the best I've had. The quesadilla was also huge with good salsa. I recommend their green hot sauce, it was spicy but not too hot and paired well with the tacos and quesadilla! Will definitely be a Prescott favorite!

When we finally get up to the register, we tried to order breakfast at 11:02 and the cashier sharply told us we just stopped serving breakfast at 11:00. She felt rude when she said to us as well, but that's just our opinion. I understand swapping the menu over at a certain time and gearing the kitchen towards a lunch focused menu, but we were in line WELL BEFORE 11 am, and the person in front of the person in front of us, ordered breakfast! I'm usually not someone to write a review on anything, much less a negative one, but I feel like a little understanding would've been appropriate. We ended up getting a wonderful breakfast around the corner at The Cowboy Kitchen. (Wayyyy better vibe anyway.)

I had a terrific patty melt with a porter, but the real standout was the beer-battered onion rings. Special is the word. If you have even the slightest liking for onion rings, you have to try these--they're that good. Crisp, flavorful, and worth ordering even if you weren't planning to. Service was friendly, the food hit the spot, and it felt like one of those places you look forward to returning to. One of these days I'm coming back for one of their adult shakes. Good food, good stop, good eating. Bill's Pizza & More (Bill's Grill/Cafe) is worth a visit.

And the fries were crispy as well as I could tell fresh. My family got other stuff like fish and chips and fish tacos. The coleslaw was delicious as it wasn't too salty or sweet. And the the restaurant itself is a cute little place, but it's nothing special at all. I would recommend trying it to see how it is if you are new to Prescott. But I wouldn't recommend going to it all the time because it could've been better.

First and damn we didn't get servers name -she was great. We ordered chips and salsa which looked to tomato based but it was still delicious. We also ordered the mussels w Parmesan (rich and delicious), the salmon tacos -large, the Beef and garlic, and the shisito peppers. The shishito peppers were unusual, slightly sweet and had other vegetables. The salmon tacos were a generous portion, the beef and garlic contained large pieces of garlic amongst the sauce for the chunked beef. The Parmesan mussels are quite rich and delicious. We will definitely be back.

We had a reservation and were excited to finally try it! I ordered the Chorizo Hash and it came out as a plate of ground chorizo with a very small amount of diced potatoes. I assume what happened was they batched it with other orders and mine was the end of the pan. It happens. No big deal. I asked the waiter for some additional potatoes as it was unbalanced and he started counting potatoes in my dish!!! He got up to 5 and then looked at me like I was the idiot... this is after we sat there for 20 minutes before he even took our order. We wanted to have a drink or two first, but felt compelled to order as service was slow already. We made the right call... food took a while to come. We also had Brisket Tacos, which were decent but not warm. The margarita had soda in it... a travesty. All in all the food was average but the attitude of the waiter ruined the experience. I had high expectations. We will give it a whirl again at some point and if that is pleasant, I will update this review. I just couldn't let this service slide... he was TERRIBLE.
