Went here for lunch on an afternoon with a bustling square. Place was pretty empty. Service was nice - even obnoxiously polite - and the kid got crayons and kid cup. Food was meh. They don't seem to season the food. I got a wrap that sounded like it would be fresh and crisp but was warm and bland. Just not remarkable food. Iced tea was great. Actually, I'm stuck between "Meh" and "A-OK". Since it was a first visit I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Early on a Saturday right after opening. Huge event going on in the courtyard, so place was empty. Staff should have been on point for any spending customer. Waitress was.. interesting. Very spacy in a way that was mildly amusing since we weren't in a rush. Had the Beef on Weck, one of their signature sandwiches. Beef was nicely cooked though relatively flavorless, roll was good. Au Jus in a bowl too small to dip the roll in, which is just weird. Nothing on the sandwich but beef. Could have benefitted from horseradish or a more flavorful au jus. Certainly not the "flavor explosion" they tout it to be. Fries were good, crisp, just like I like them. KT had the Southwestern Beef Wrap. I did not select that because they present it as spicy. She says it definitely was not. Again, good food cooked ok but very little flavor. We'll try again sometime, but they'll have to show us much more in the way of service and flavor before we make it a steady. read more

In town for business so I am starting to look at new places to eat. Walked in here after my initial choice, Rosa's was busy. I was greeted immediately by Crystal the bartender. She was patient as I was not quite sure what I wanted. After scouring the menu, in settled on the Black Bean Wrap with Veggies. Overall, not bad, but not superb. The wrap was filling yet I was trying to evaluate everything about the place. The staff is friendly as are the locals. I struck up a conversation with two of them. First time here, good experience. My first experience here was for lunch on August 11, 2015. We wanted to try it out before our daughters rehearsal dinner. There were 5 of us, 2 had chicken caesar wraps, one had a cheeseburger, the last two had soup. We all enjoyed our lunch. Our second experience was the rehearsal dinner itself. We were in the front private room on September 11, 2015. We were about 20 ppl & offered a customized limited menu & a private bar. Everyone seemed to enjoy their food. I had a delicious ribeye & my husband had salmon. The service was great- attentive without hovering. My mother ordered a piña colada, which they couldn't make at the private bar, so they got her one from the main bar. It made her very happy. Ended up in Prescott for the day from Phoenix, walked around and was looking for a place to eat. Right in downtown Prescott, this place is easy to find. The burger I had was delicious, service is quick, and the price is great! Looks like a cute place to drink if I didn't have an hour and half drive back to Phoenix that night! lol read more

We found this restaurant on yelp, and went to check it out. Picked up food to go, and were really disappointed. 1st phone call, we got stuck on terminal hold, and 2nd phone call we were greeted by a snotty voice on the other end. But because we found it on yelp, husband said let's give it a try. Ordered Fish & Chips and a Philly Cheese Steak. Fish was over cooked right up to the edge of being burnt, but was still served to us, potato fries & regular fries were horrible and soggy. Hubbs said that the Philly Cheese Steak was ok, but nothing to write home about. Not to mention we still had to wait even after we called in the order, and still had to pay $34.00 for two entrees that were less than sub par. When we got there, the employees looked miserable and unhappy. It is unfortunate, because I'm pretty sure if the staff was happy it would reflect in their food prep, food service, and all around Customer Service. Until this particular restaurant can improve on their basics, and with a heavy emphasis on Customer Service, as well as their cooking capabilities, do not waste your time or money on this place. read more

We wished we had found this place sooner! We've been back a half dozen times now since eating there the first time. The food is great! Noticible fresh quality ingredients are a big plus! We highly recommend the burgers! Especially either the PBJ Burger or the Chipotle Burger. This place has been great, it can get a little busy towards the weekend. But it really isn't bad when compared to other places in/near Downtown Prescott or Whiskey Row. Service has also been great when we've gone. It's a great place for lunch or dinner. read more

The food is merely ok, the service is generally slow and not the friendliest. Great place to go if you have a group of folks who want to sit and chat, but don't go here expecting a culinary experience. I've had burgers that weren't cooked correctly, tasteless chicken wraps, over-cheesed pasta dishes. Probably the best thing I've had here is the french fries. Third time here and every time it was very good. The Fish n chips are excellent, pulled pork sandwich is to die for and this time I had the chipotle burger. Which is the perfect combo of beef, avacado, bacon and sauce. I recommend this place for either dinner or lunch. read more

We came here a few years ago and remembered that it was good, so we gave it another try. It's more than good, it's excellent. We started with the Caprese Fondue and it was delicious! The blend of flavors was amazing! We both had pasta dishes and were very pleased (toasted ravioli and Cajun chicken). Ultimate Cherry Cokes complimented the meal and were only $5 each. For comfort American food it hit the spot. The burgers were good. The service was terrible. It took 2 hours to eat lunch. Granted we had a party of 19 but we called in advance 2 weeks before. We had 1 server for 19 people??? He was waiting other tables as well, it took 30 minutes just to get the drinks. Once the food came, I couldn't have been happier. 2 in our party actually took the Gurley Challenge and actually finished in the 20 minute time frame. Not sure I like sitting in a booth where my seat is duct taped to cover the holes. Might be time for an update! Husband ordered a burger and fries and I ordered the beef wrap along with a beer and iced tea. Husband said hamburger was good -looked good! The wrap on the other hand - let me say the "spicy cabbage" was spicy but no flavor. The whole wrap lacked flavor. A lot of "steak um" meat though. We did get the complimentary bread steaks and they were the best of the meal. Waitress was seldom seen. As she walked by she asked if my husband wanted another beer (as she was walking by) and I guess when he said no, that meant I didn't get more tea or he had no other drink options. We both finished our meals without drinks! No, let me change that - I didn't finish my meal. Too much steak-ums and not enough flavor! My salad came on a plate no bigger than a cat food dish - I could not add my dressing and mix it around it was so small - I had to dip my salad in the dressing cup! 100% chance that with all the other choices in Prescott our next and future trips will not include eating at this grill again. read more

Came in on a Monday with my fiancée, wasn't too packed. Our server, Garret, did an awesome job - answered all our questions and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Great personality. We ordered the Caprese Fondue for an app, which I highly recommend. I ordered the beef stroganoff, which was pretty good - definitely hit the spot for comfort food. My fiancée had the Philly cheesesteak that came with au jus - sandwich was good, but the au jus could use a little more flavor, tasted a bit watered down. I contemplated on what to star this establishment. We have been a very frequent customer to gurley street grill for the past 10 years. The food has always been average, management used to be on top of things and the chefs used to produce quality good HOT food like their sister companies still do ( murphys and the office) the last year it has been DOWN hill. Management is awful, unprofessional and LAZY, the chefs look like they all have rolled out of bed, food is normally always cold and bland yet we kept saying let's give them up another try and we always are disappointmented. The waiters are not much better, they are very condescending and do not have much patience they rush you to order, only check up on you when they want to get your order and the payment. last week we tried going in on a Thursday night at 9 p m the heavy set manager with curly dark hair quickly rushed to the door and told us they were closed and shut the door on us. but online they said they were open until 11pm... absolutely mind blowing.the owners of this business really need to get rid of their staff and re establish this business. read more

Worst service in Prescott so far! The male bar tender who has helped us a few different times is almost unbearable. If he isn't taking about personal issues with regular customers at the bar he is usually ignoring you or trying to be witty and comes off as a jerk who has no time for you. Was visiting friends in Prescott and came here for dinner on a Monday night last month. Service was horrendous. Server was so-so, but manager did nothing to improve our experience. My order was incorrect, my best friends wife's order didn't arrive at all. We ask again for her order. When we asked to speak to the manager for a third time, he didn't come at all. Food was OK. There were almost no other parties in the restaurant, so this is beyond understandable. Perhaps the kitchen, manager, and servers were more interested in football. Would never recommend this place.
