Reasonably priced for breakfast as it is a pretty small portion. the service is a little slow but it's a Vietnamese place so we don't expect service. Outdoor seating is a smoking den - second hand smoke is dangerously here. they do reservations for tables but don't seem to take a deposit as no one shows up while others are waiting and completing their meals.

Hủ tiếu Nam Vang

Quick and easy to order. Customer service is on fleek. It's my go to for hủ tiếu when I have my crazing. It's in the back of a shopping center where all the old ex Vietnam vets hang out and gossip. The food is fresh and full of toppings. It's not a full blown restaurant but it has just enough of the traditional viet breakfast with tasty flavors. Highly recommended if you want low key Vietnamese breakfast.

Good food , nice service Just smell smoke from outside a little bother during enjoying the food. Still coming back for their noodles & coffee

My parents have been telling me about this place for awhile. They are big fan of Hu Tieu Nam Vang and other hu tieu dishes. Finally took them here and I was not disappointed. The vibes are very old school cafe shop where Vietnamese men come to play chess, drink their coffee, and discuss Vietnam War or other life problems lol. The place is airy and open. The staff are professional. There's indoor and outdoor seating. One only draw back is that they allow smoking outside and since windows and doors are open, the smell of cigarettes are pervasive. The food is hands down very tasty and affordable.

I just got ripped off at this place!!! The prices are way higher than other places in the area. They also up the price from what the had on the menu. (See pictures.) The food is old. The meats are stale. Tasted like cardbard. The fries seem like they microwaved it. All soggy and darken. The service is bad. Never coming back here. Avoid it!

Another specialty dish.. Hủ Tiếu Nam Vang!!

I have been to this restaurant before and didn't care much but recently I came again and the service and the food was so different. I asked and no wonder it's has change their owner. The service was excellent and the foods were yummy and the tastes were so different. Talking about the service, they were busy but always come and checked to see if everything was ok and clean your table during your meal. Last week I came again and luckily this time I met the new owners and talked with them a little and knowing that they put their hearts and souls into this restaurant, no wonder the foods were so different and yummy this time. I would highly recommend to everyone to try out this restaurant under the new management!! You won't be disappointed!!

Authentic and very tasty! Cute corner cafe with indoor outdoor seating. I ordered yellow noodle soup and tea. Flavorful and cane to $10!

Gypsy cafe is my go-to getaway from reality. I usually get the ice lemon soda or cafe sua. It has a casual yet sophisticated vibe.

The chicken was crispy and the dipping sauce gave it that extra yummy goodness. The dish also came with a side of broth that had chicken bits in it, was nice to help digest your dish. I also loved that they gave you pickled veggies & fresh veggies. We also ordered the Loi's Fusion Saltado, upgraded the rice to garlic egg fried rice. The beef was soft and tender, the fries were nice and crispy and the fried rice was fresh. You 100% need to get the Thai Tea. A lot of place add too much cream/half and half diluting the tea flavor, they do not skimp on the actual tea in their drink. The color speaks for itself on the dark orange hue!

It also came with their dipping sauce, red rice and a fried egg. They also give you a side of broth. I was not a fan of their rice. Not sure if it was just that night or if it's how their rice is always cooked, but the rice was on the drier side so I had pour soup on my rice or else it was too dry. Service was okay. I would give them another try. Maybe for their noodle soup dishes.

The sweetness of the grilled pork, the crispiness of the eggrolls wrapper bits, and the freshness of the vegetables pairs with the special sauce never fails to satisfy the craving. This time we tried their cheeseburger spring Roasted Duck spring rolls. I am not a duck fan so this was okay to me. The meat was well seasoned with the spices and the hoisin sauce was a nice balance. The crispy Vietnamese eggrolls were also a first and it was great! The meaty and crispiness of the eggrolls eaten like a lettuce wrap with the nuoc Cham sauce was delicious. This place always seems to be busy and rushed and can get a bit loud but the service is always great. They have a bar where you can grab some drinks while you wait. Their lychee martini is good. There is also a dessert display in the front where you check in which we haven't tried yet.

When you see a parking spot open, you gotta jump in it fast like double Dutch with the jump rope. There is not a lot of seating so I would recommend to take your food to go. The ladies at the front were extremely nice in taking care of me! I needed 100 garlic chicken wings for my daughter's sixth birthday party and boy did they come in clutch. I also ordered a plate of the garlic noodles, and that almost went as fast as the chicken. I WILL be stopping by here at least once a month. Arguably one of the best pho places in my opinion. I think this place is older than I am, because…read moreI've been coming here since I was a baby! Over all those years, they have never disappointed me and continue to serve really good food. I usually get the beef brisket pho and it's really good. The noodles are just the right texture, the broth is clean and flavorful, and the meat tastes fresh and tender. Their dui bo is also very good, but usually runs out after 1:00 or 2:00 pm, since they only have a limited amount of this item every day. The meat is fall off the bone tender and has a more fatty flavor to it. It usually sits in some broth that absorbs that beefy and fatty flavor from the bone. A great addition to any bowl of pho. Alternatively, I sometimes also get the bun thit nuong and it's very good. The eggrolls it comes with is wrapped with rice paper, so when it's fried up, it has such a satisfying crunch and texture to it. The thit nuong is has a nice smokey, grilled flavor to it. The shrimps are okay as well. This is a very satisfying and filling dish, so if you're looking for a high volume dish, this may be the one to get. Expect long lines during peak hours. I can confirm though that the wait is worth it! Service is always very good. The ambiance on the inside is fine, very plain and unassuming in my opinion. It's really the pho that shines through at this restaurant. Parking can be a little tricky during peak hours.

Put your name on the list hanging outside the door and they will call you when ready! We were sat almost immediately though. Inside is a large scale mom and pop shop that is FILLED with people and workers. We ordered a medium and large #23 pho and 2 waters, we got everything not even 5 minutes later. When I tell you this is the BEST broth I've ever had, it blew me away. I'm not one to usually order extra noodles but for this place I would order as many noodles until I ran out of broth, it is that good. Noodles were on the soggier side, I'm not picky about noodles but if you are then this is something to consider. Portions were huge for the price, very happy with that. CASH ONLY. I didn't see an ATM there but I'm sure they had one. Will always recommend and they have a new customer for whenever I'm in OC.
