Haven't been to a Habit in awhile and it was so good. I'm not sure why people are complaining, our food came fresh and everything was cooked perfectly. Prices were great, portions were good. Ordered the tempura green beans, sweet potatoe fries, onion rings, and their BURGERS! I truly missed out all these years. If you're looking for an alternative to the regular drive thru chains (that comes with quality and good menu items besides fries) - try a Habit. 8 out of 10 for me. Enjoy! read more

Keeping it simple and sweet. Really liked this location. Very clean and was able to receive my order pretty quickly. Staff was nice and honestly, I tried the chicken patty for the first time and was really impressed. Like another Yelper mentioned, E.C., the chicken was quite moist and the grilled taste was pretty good all throughout. My default Habit burger location is usually downtown LA, but might have to start coming here. Overall, you really can't go wrong with Habit burger. Quality is always fresh and delicious. More gourmet compared to McDonald's and Burger King, but well worth it for those burger cravings. read more

I like this Habit way better than Glendale. Better parking, more relaxed and better food cooked with more care. Grilled chicken moist and nicely charred, not dry and burnt like Glendale. Nice seating area inside and outdoor patio. We got Harvest Chopped Salad and Santa Barbara Cobb both very good. Loved the Fuji Apple Vinaigrette, tastes like real Fuji Apple. I'm definitely going to replicate this at home! Minus one star for dirty tables. All 3 free tables not wiped down. I wiped myself. Lady came out to empty trash, but half hour later, tables still not wiped down. She walked about again 15 min later to put something in trash, still no wipe down. read more

I use to eat at The Habit 2-3 times a week , then they discontinued Turkey burgers from the menu. That was a bummer. I then started ordering the salads. Eventually they started saving on lettuce and making their salads smaller. I now refer to them as a petite salad. Now they are so petite that they think you only need one salad dressing. Any additional salad dressing will cost extra. Come on Habit, you had a great following. I have now noticed that customers have gotten less and less at the neighborhood Habit locations and the lines at In and Out have gotten longer and longer. Perhaps it's the Petite Salads and single salad dressings. How about bringing back the Turkey Burger and putting more lettuce in the tiny bowls you are now serving. read more

used Habit first time in La Canada. Burgers were fine but small but you need two to be satisfied. Fries for $5 are so small less than a handful which is ridiculous paying $20 for being still hungry. Will never visit again. read more

An absolute disappointment I ordered a char burger with cheese on sourdough and an order of garlic Parmesan fries. I waited a good amount of time for my food to be ready When I grabbed my order, I checked the bag and the fries were SOGGY. So I returned to the counter and asked for a fresh order of fries. I'm almost certain that the manager/expo/lead dumped my original order of fries that I touched back on the tray where the fryer is and asked the staff to repackage the same fries and to mix in a few fresh ones - all while there were fresh orders of crispy fries sitting on the counter waiting to be served to other customers! Fries weren't even soggy because of the "garlic Parmesan" goop, it was served on the side.. Margarine & heaps of garlic salt, yuck When I got home, the burger was a mess which is why I realized the patty is smaller that a single patty on the McDouble! My standard order for years has been to order a single char on sourdough and normally I pull the patty from one side and stack it on the other side to effectively build half of a double char so I've done this plenty and can attest to the fact that the Habit is complicit to shrinkflation. Our visit started off on a good note, as my son wanted a cup of ice before we even ordered and they were kind enough to provide that to us. We ordered at a kiosk, and our order included (among other things) a shake, a fountain drink and a veggie burger with no cucumber, add mushrooms. When we went to the counter to get the cup for the fountain drink, they told us the ice cream machine was broken -- so no shake. They worked it out with us by subbing a fountain drink and refunding the price difference, but too bad they couldn't mark shakes as unavailable in the kiosk system! When we received our order, the mushrooms that we paid for were missing from the burger, and the cucumber I'd asked to leave off was definitely on there. I decided to just let it go because I was hungry and didn't want to wait to have it fixed. So, low points for order accuracy, but the food tasted all right and service was friendly. COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. Some of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor & outdoor seating available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing my food from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is pretty massive. Lots of spots for you to choose from. Take your pick. Food: I ordered a tri tip sandwich. The tri-tip sandwich is marinated in house, char-broiled and topped with either a sweet tangy barbecue sauce or teriyaki. The meat had an excellent smoky flavor and a slight pleasant chewiness. So fricken delicious and juicy! Staff: The staff here are very nice, friendly, and fast. Cobb salads are traditionally romaine and your menu didn't warn that your "recipes" and "methods" had changed. (My review is for corporate decisions, NOT this particular store.) First, they took away the tropical tea. Now, they've taken away the wonderful salads, replacing them with ones I won't eat. Too bad. I tried the Steakhouse Char Melt, which comes with peppercorn sauce, caramelized onions, and plenty of cheese. Mushrooms are usually included, but I requested none due to an allergy. It's all served on buttery toast, and in my opinion, it's even better than a traditional burger--though I'm a fan of both. It was a nice change of pace. I have lived in eagle rock since the habit was nothing but a dirt lot... point being, I've come here once in a blue moon every few months to a year... service was always great! I don't know if today was a hiccup or if the new team of cooks are just horrendous at their job but I got fries that were brown + black... mind you, they don't use the skin of the potato... so what could that possibly mean? That they were fried at the very LEAST, twice... I've worked two fast food jobs and let me just tell ya... I really liked the burgers, they were delicious, but everything was ruined by the service, we were a family of 3 people, so we ordered 3 burgers through the terminal, but at the checkout they gave us 2. We had to argue for a long time and prove that we paid for 3, although the receipt and the amount showed that we were right, after 10 minutes we were given our 3 paid for burger, the mood was ruined, I don't know if we'll get together again to ruin the day off. read more

This location has gone downhill. My wife and I have decided we're never going to this Habit (or maybe any Habit) anymore. The burgers aren't tasty anymore. I'm not sure what they're doing differently but it tastes so bland. One guess is that they don't char the meat enough also it looks like the quality of ingredients have dropped. We actually had asked for well done but it was ignored. But the real reason we are done with this location is that for the last few times that we've ordered take out, they've gotten our orders wrong, every single time. Last night, they didn't put any of the sauces/dips we had requested. And I had asked for Teriyaki sauce on my steak sandwich but there was no sauce on it. And never mind the burger wasn't well done. It's very frustrating to get home and realize they've made so many mistakes. Another minor point that irritated me was when I got there I asked if my order was ready and she said no. Fine, so I sit down and there's only another person waiting. I wait for minutes then ask again. My order had been sitting there the whole time getting cold.
