This donut shop serves more than donuts. They also serve coffee, sandwiches, American & Chinese food. Good variety of drinks and they sell lottery tickets. Located on the corner of Van Ness and Pacific.

I finally broke down, selected an order via ToGoodToGo $5.99, and I received a bag filled to the brim with 2 Apple Fritters, and a bunch of Fresh Donuts. Again, I lucked into parking on the side street, and service was quick and efficient as the staff person filled a bag with deep fried delights. The bag contained a nice mix of fresh & tasty goodness. My only regret being that I was shy about taking images of their other savory menu options. An order via ToGoodToGo is a great option if you are not picky at the moment over which donut variations you might get.

Okay I'm pleasantly surprised by their lunches. I got a beef salad (photo below) take out. Lots of gravy, was quick to bring it out, and food was good. Total was only a whopping $16.75. Yeah I'm coming for more lunches.

This is a place to pick up donuts. There is lots of variety. They also offer lots of different dishes .

Went here on a Monday near closing. Used the too good to go all and got the box pictured. For $6 that was a good amount of donuts and they are perfectly good. Not the best donuts but also really satisfying. Support local business. The staff here very friendly and helpful. It also looks clean. Looks like they make the food on site.

Small neighborhood places are getting harder to find. While waiting for a friend, I decided to grab lunch on a summer weekday late morning. When I entered, the dining room was about a third full, a mix of tourists from nearby motels and construction crew staff. After studying the pretty abbreviated menu, I selected to order breakfast, Denver omelette with hash browns (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=ZomsAq6T-tm1eRYHb49L-Q&userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q). I picked up an old fashioned donut for the road too. Was it earth shattering (the hash browns were my favorite on my plate)? No, but it hit the spot hunger wise, gave me refuge from hanging out in my car, and mostly, served my need if nature called during my wait. Since I wasn't alone, this obviously meets a wide spectrum of customers who work, live, or are visiting in this part of town.

Be forewarned and remember to double check your receipt and ensure what you ordered matches up with what they charged you. We came by this morning as it was nearby our hotel to grab some donuts for my kids before we started our day. We ended up ordering a medium ice coffee ($3.50), a dozen regular donut holes ($3.50), a dozen chocolate donut holes ($3.95) and a dozen blueberry donut holes ($3.95). Tell me how we were charged over $22 for the above items! My friend already paid and tipped, but I confronted the clerk about the overcharge, he ends up re-ringing up the items and it came to about $16 (which was about the right price after taxes). He ended up giving us back $6.50 in cash for the overcharge. The donut holes were good and my kids enjoyed it. It could have been a mistake done by the clerk and the numbers were somehow transposed since he rang up each item manually, but it is always good to double check to ensure you do get charged for what you order.

Dynamo is known for seasonal flavors! Even though this chocolate one isn't fruity, I think it is a limited flavor too? Anyway, it was delicious and I appreciate the thoughtful flavor and texture combos. You can tell they use great ingredients! I enjoyed every bite of this chocolate donut with coconut. Not overly sweet like a lot of donuts tend to be, and the coconut on top was so good, generous without being overkill. Texture-wise it was a bit dense given it's a cake donut. Parking is super easy around the area, which is a rarity in SF. Shop is bright and airy, with the most adorable pastel color scheme. I ordered two of their milk chocolate donuts ($5 each), a key lime meringue donut ($6), a blueberry & lime donut ($5), and a caramel apple donut ($6). Donuts are on the pricier side, but the presentation and use of high quality ingredients makes up for it. The sourdough donuts themselves aren't nearly as sweet as standard donuts and have a soft, bouncy texture. The milk chocolate donut was absolutely decadent. Upon first bite, you can immediately tell this donut was topped with real melted milk chocolate. This was levels above a typical chocolate glazed donut. The flakey sea salt garnished on top balanced out the sweetness nicely. Although I will say that I found the richness of the chocolate to clash slightly with the tanginess of the sourdough donut. The key lime meringue donut had a super tart key lime filling and was topped with fluffy meringue. Definitely the most eye catching of the donuts I picked up. But the key lime filling was a bit too punchy and sour for my liking. The glaze on the blueberry & lime donut had a potent and fresh blueberry flavor that went well with the lime zest sprinkled on top. The caramel apple donut was my favorite. The caramelized apple filling paired with the cream cheese frosting and graham cracker crumbs was almost like eating an apple pie + cheesecake fusion but as a donut! Overall, a solid donut place that I'd return to if I'm ever in need of a special treat!

Whether you're heading to work…read morebefore sunrise, grabbing breakfast after a long night, or just craving a good pastry and coffee, it's incredibly reliable. Having a place that's open practically around the clock is such a luxury, and it's become one of those businesses that the Sunset is lucky to have. One of my favorite things is that the moment you walk through the door, you're greeted by the smell of freshly baked pastries. It's exactly what you hope for when you walk into a neighborhood café. Even better, they taste every bit as fresh as they smell--flaky, buttery, and consistently delicious. It's the kind of place where it's hard to leave with just one pastry. The coffee is always hot, fresh, and ready to go, making it an easy stop whether you're in a rush or taking your time. And if you're hungry, don't skip the sandwiches. They're hearty, indulgent, and absolutely hit the spot, especially in the early morning when you need something substantial to start the day. Beyond the food, Uncle Benny's has that classic neighborhood café feel that keeps locals coming back. Friendly, dependable, and consistently satisfying--it's everything you'd want from a community staple. If you're in the Sunset and looking for a great breakfast, pastry, or coffee, Uncle Benny's is an easy 5-star recommendation.

I was tempted at first to get a banh mi but opted instead to order their namesake items, and I'm ultimately glad I did because I think they're a more accurate representation of their offerings. I got a loaded veggie bagel without cream cheese, as I wanted to add my own Kite Hill dairy free cream cheese, and a "cinnamon roll". The reason for the quotes around cinnamon roll is vector ended up being a doughnut shaped like a cinnamon roll topped with glaze and crumbles. The bagel was great! I received a toasted sesame bagel, which was a surprise because there was not an option to select type on Uber Eats. I love sesame so was quite satisfied. The bagel was stuffed to the brim with veggies, so it was a fantastic way to smash in some healthy produce to start my day. The cinnamon roll doughnut, however, was too sweet, and I'm really not a doughnut person. Like I would probably never go out of my way for one. It was so big I couldn't finish it and ended up composting the rest. I'm glad I tried it to fairly assess the place but wouldn't get again and honestly only added it to my cart to meet the minimum Uber Eats delivery spend to avoid higher fees.
