What is that that came out of my chicken?

We have not eaten at Happy Teriyaki since last June 2023 when my son found something odd looking in his chicken. Also the foam packing containers were getting a bit scary to me, looking as if the food was absorbing (melting?) into it, even discoloring. Petroleum products are just not safe. I told Happy Teriyaki about the to-go containers and my concerns.

Spicy chicken teriyaki $11.29! Way too expensive for what you get!

It's not like it wasn't okay, it was okay. $11:29 for what should be $7.99 lunch special! I asked for spicy teriyaki and fried rice 3times because he kept asking if I wanted vegetables. Nope just spicy chicken teriyaki and fried rice! Still didn't get what I ordered and for the amount I received for $11.29???? It wasn't bad, it was okay. No real complaints, but will I go back? Nope! I won't be back! Way too pricey for what you get.

Fat from the "chicken "and uncooked onions out of my meal. Leftovers unworthy of take home.

Ordered the Cashew chicken and it was some other meat that definitely wasn't chicken. I suspect it was pork. This is not a place I'd recommend. I gave it 2 stars cuz giving 1 star would mean I'd been served dog food. But I wouldn't feed these leftovers to my dog.

Get water and avoid the $2.95 cost of a soda...bullsh$& for a fountain drink with no refills.

Food was mediocre, but that is what I expected. What I was most irritated about was I paid $2.95 plus tax for a Diet Pepsi with no refills...this is price gouging and extortion to the public.

They are the epitome of slow fast food, but their food is great with grilled or charbroiled like meats, delicious! I feel their portion sizes are generous, their tempura batter a little thick (un authentic) but very tasty. We will continue to order from and eat here regularly.

We had an excellent lunch of both the chicken and beef terriyaki and will definitely return.

They were very slow, the server was rude, and I paid for two drinks that they never brought to us. I'm sorry that I gave a tip!

Decent noodles, lots of food, but bombarded with obnoxious "Christian Rock" throughout. Ugh.

Very good. Vietnamese leaning teriyaki, pho, wok, boba tea spot in west Hoquiam. We'd never been…read morebefore and my sister, who is a local Hoquiamese, had not mentioned this place. We'd been to another teriyaki joint in town and were split on that one, so we decided to give this one a try on the way back from Forks area. We're glad we did because we found our new favorite spot in Hoquiam. The food, service, and restaurant were are really good. The variety of delicious items on the menu is a bit overwhelming, but in a good way. Like, if I were to grub out while living in Hoquiam, I'd be going to Speed Bowl all the time. Their teriyaki is true to Seattle-style - very tasty. My daughter really enjoyed the Philadelphia roll, which is a win any time it's on the menu. Next time I'll try the Thai or Boba tea (no boba, don't bully) options for sure - they looked amazing. The place was clean, there's a fair amount of parking, and service was nice. The girl who was working the register and lobby was very kind and served well. Seemed like a younger crowd inside than most other restaurants in town that aren't bar and grills. We all enjoyed our meals here and will return again next time in town, even if it's a little far from where we usually stay. Only gripe is it's a slightly higher priced joint but I'd say it was worth it!

This is our favorite. The service is over the top. We call an order to go and it's ready in 10-15…read moreminutes. Hot fresh and tasty Priced reasonable and very consistent
