After writing my first review someone from the company or a worker relied and not only had no customer service but told me that I will not give them a 1 star review, I understand if you stop selling an item but either explain that to the customer or don't advertise it anymore, when I tried to order the crepes the response I received was "we do not sell crepes here" all in all the customer service from this place is far less than acceptable. It was such a hot day and this was the boba place that was closer and open. I like the pictures I saw on yelp and decided to go here. Once I arrived in the plaza, I was a little skeptical because the plaza was quite empty. Stopped in and there were several people sitting inside on their laptops or chatting with friends. The owner is a nice and friendly Vietnamese man. He was super patient with our indecisiveness. The drinks were perfect for a hot day. They also had an outdoor seating area with shade so the slight breeze felt great. When I'm in the area, I'm definitely coming back for their drinks. My lychee milk tea was 100% sugar and it wasn't too sweet. The taro smoothie was 50% and I was say it was a little plain. So depending on your preference, you may or may not have to change the sweetness level. read more

Been there today, around 2pm. They are still doing soft opening, so all orders are 10% off. Drinks come with 3 sizes small, med and large. They have scale for sugar. Menu is limited for right now but soon it will be expanded. I saw they have small island cart for drink toppings but it is empty for now. They have TV mounted on the wall, free wifi, parking lot is spacious and huge. Tables and chairs are new! There a handpainted black wings on the white wall, i think they want people to take picture as #ootd. They put some flowers/plants pot along the windows so it looks very nice. Furthermore, they have kinda huge yard, i think in the future they wilk set up the patio and or outdoor seating The lady welcome customers with a friendly smile and looks like she is the trainer. The guy is a bit slow, maybe he is still on training. And he doesn't smile or anything, he just take order, tap on computer and tell you how much, not even thank you after you finish your order. I feel a bit odd because they are new business so the workers should be friendly and look happy. I order iced boba with milk green tea. The tea they used is more like jasmine tea. There is no extra fee for togo cups. I order 3/4 sugar and it still a bit sweet, plus they put iced kinda 1/3 of small cup so it makes the drink taste watery very fast after. And the milk is not rich and buttery. I will come back to check them out again. Meanwhile, I'll just stick with my go to place. read more

I try and stop here for some tea whenever I'm in this outlet mall shopping at grocery outlet. They offer different types of specialty drinks like teas, smoothies, slushees and crepes. What I love about this place is that they have a rewards club where you earn a point for every dollar you spend and you can get free things like a free drink or crepe once you reach a certain amount. I always see the same girl at the register with glasses who is just always so so sweet! It's always just her working the restaurant and sometimes it be busy as hell up in there and she still seems to be slangin them drinks in a timely and efficient manner. Go you! I also like the fact that you can adjust your sugar preference here because I hate sugary drinks and think 1/4 of sugar is good enough if not more. Every time I come here I get the iced mango green tea which has a slightly strong tea taste which I like! It's sooo refreshing! Quite disappointed in this place. I've been soooo excited to try Happytime Tea. I got a chance to drop by one late morning. I ordered a Rose Milk Tea and one Taro blended, both with regular (100%) sweetness. The total came out to about $9, so not a bad price. The Rose MT was soooooo sickly sweet and didn't taste like milk tea at all. It just tasted like super sweet rose-flavored syrup with a splash of milk and some ice. Order less sweetness for the Rose Milk Tea! This completely turned me away from liking this place so far. The Taro blended was nice; average and can be found at other boba shops where you can purchase other pleasant drinks. I'll give this place another chance and update this review next time I'm in the area and if I REALLY wanted a boba drink. Also, the atmosphere was surprising. Upon first walking up to the shop, the outdoor patio area was packed with groups of people (older asian uncles and aunties) clustered at different round tables. I thought there was a private event going on. No one was really wearing masks. It was a bit loud because they had live karaoke and a booming sound system outside. My family and I are regulars customer at this store. Today I went in and the barista girl wasn't wearing a mask. With covid being so high, I thought they would take this thing more serious, but I guess I was wrong. We came by yesterday for a bubble tea fix and I was extremely disappointed. When we arrived we couldn't even tell if they were open or not, it looked completely dark in the restaurant and they had curtains that were drawn by the front doors/entrance. Once we walked in all of the tables were cleared and it looked like they were about to host an event? No idea. Ignoring the darkness, we went to order our drinks and I couldn't help but notice there were ants ALL OVER the counter. Durian avocado shake freakin good! They use a whole avacado and good chunk of durian - no powder ! Silky smooth ! I am glad to finally see another business open in this plaza. I hope this place does well and I really wanted to like it but it is expensive. I can go to Nhu Y down the street and get an avocado smoothie for $1-2 less than here. They charge about $5 for a small and $6 for a large if I remember correctly. That is tea station prices which is a lot for sugar, flavored powder and milk. The flavors are good but for that price I don't think I will be coming back even though it is close by and I want to support whatever businesses that want to make this plaza come back to life. read more

I would consider this as a pretty good cafe that has a variety of drinks and some dessert options. The shaved snow here is pretty good and a great alternative if you don't want to make the drive to Iceskimo; however, they are limited in shaved snow flavors and toppings. I am hopeful that as this place receives more popularity, there will more options because this place really does have the potential to wow customers everywhere. As for the crepe, I would not recommend it mainly because I felt like it was a bit undercooked and pretty doughy. Typically when I order crepes from places like Mitsuwa, they are usually crispy and thinner. The ambiance of the cafe is pretty chill, however, they are still undergoing some construction so it may tough trying to get your school work done in here (unless you don't mind the noises). read more
