This place has gotten better with age. We chose this spot as we wanted a no-nonsense restaurant so the kids in our party could play at the playground and so we didn't need reservations. After taking the Sea Pines Trolley (definitely recommend if you don't want to drive around and around looking for parking), we walked up and found two open tables which we pushed together. After a short wait, our server came over and took our drink orders. The drinks arrived shortly after that and then we ordered our meals. While this place doesn't much more than burgers, chicken, and hot dogs, they do them well. I chose a grilled chicken sandwich with cheddar, bacon, and BBQ sauce. It was juicy and satisfying. Extremely poor service. Can't even review the food because we left before ordering! It was somewhat busy when we arrived but there were still quite a few empty tables. We weren't sure if we were supposed to seat ourselves and so we stood at the entrance for five minutes while several members of the waitstaff walked past us without even a nod. Eventually we approached one of them and she confirmed we could sit wherever we liked. After sitting down, we were again ignored for a full ten minutes. We watched two staff members slooooooowly clear a two-seater table together (there were three other empty, clean tables nearby). Four other servers walked past our table and pointedly avoided eye contact. Once the ten minutes had passed and we hadn't even been offered a menu, I went up to the bar to inform the servers that we were leaving because we had been ignored. Instead of a sincere apology and an attempt to make it right, I got a halfhearted, "Sorry about that, ma'am". We had been planning to make this our first stop before visiting the shops and other businesses in the area, but the experience left such a bad taste in our mouths that we left entirely and visited another part of town. Sat at the table for 15-20 min and got absolutely zero service! Unacceptable. One of the other waitresses noticed we were unserved and approached our server I heard him say, "I'll get to them in a minute." And he continued to talk and joke with his coworker. Ended up at this place because the tourist trap next door had a wait and were rude about it. Couldn't have been happier with how it played out. Meh. Ordered a caesar salad with grilled chicken. While the chicken was good, the salad looked and tasted like it came from a refrigerator at a fast food restaurant. It was clearly prepared WELL in advance and served in the plastic container with a salad dressing packet. The pulled pork platter was nothing special. The burger and fries were the best thing ordered at our table. The location is great just be sure to lower your expectations when eating here. read more

Food was fast and hot, which beat out every other Hilton Head restaurant I've been to. 4 starts simply because they didn't stock their stuff well enough. Very disappointing for a place with a prime location in Harbour Town. The "Grilled to Order" burgers could only be delivered well done. Very suspiciously looked they were pre-cooked. The Pretzel Bun was quite stale. And they had only one draft beer on tap! read more

This really was one of the worst experiences we've had on HHI. we arrived at 7, sat down at 7:20 (which was fine) and didn't get served until almost 9pm, causing our kids to miss almost the entire concert. The orders were all wrong, the waters/drinks never came or came late, and they were out of key ingredients like turkey and mushrooms. The manager gave us 40% off the bill but it is still 2 hours of our vacation/life we'll never get back. Avoid. read more

Should've checked the reviews - this was a pretty bad experience. The beer was good, but pricey for the small plastic cup we got. The burgers were okay, but not they way we ordered them, the french fries were cold and hard. To top it off, we were overcharged for what we ordered and the waitress didn't even offer to correct her mistake. I guess that makes it our mistake for trying this place out. Never again read more

The service was great! Staff was friendly and the food was fast. The food was mostly burgers but who can complain.

Luckily this place is in a fantastic location. Burgers were charred, chicken sandwich was dry. Kids got side salads instead of fries and they were served on paper in a wire basket with the burger. Definitely not the quality we expected for the price. read more

Our table was ignored until finally I got my 2 boys' drinks from the bar and asked the waitress for menus reminding them of our table.
