Absolutely delicious tacos! My beer - the Jerry Garcia tribute brew - was the perfect compliment. The staff was really fun and the indoor atmosphere is great while the outdoor seating is comfortable and scenic.

Food was awful. My nachos came out very cold. My pretzel was hard and not as soft. You have to scan the menu and order your food and beer. Then someone will finally bring your items. We waited over 30 minutes for our food to come and it was cold. Never saw a server at all. There was a party going on at the restaurant next to us and they were ordering beer here. The beer is good here. But, the service for people who are dining here. My experience here was not good at all. Don't know if I'll come back.

New favorite pre-concert/pre-game spot. Very good empanadas, great small bites like giant pretzels, very generous pours, and great views. Even a TV they roll outside for other games.

Coming to Thrive City before a concert, we found the shortest line here to get a bite. Though the dining room tables were full, the line to order food and drinks was relatively short. There were only four people ahead of us with two order stations open. We quickly learned that the soft tacos were sold out so we pivoted. After ordering, we went to the outdoor seating area and found a high top table next to a window. My companion saw a high top open up inside so we moved there after a five minute wait. The cashier gave a pager unit, told us the expediting station location, and that the food would take about 15 minutes. The customer flow was steady but not overwhelming. About 20 minutes later, our pager lit up so I called to the expediting station. A gentleman in a ski hat placed our food on a tray and pointed to a table with utensils and napkins. I tried the ham and cheese empanada (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=IAd9tOYiG-w-hkGpwpEXEQ) which was warm and cake with dipping aioli; the filling (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=IC7hO0VeY_LeFl1iQR3UNQ) was clean and simple yet tasty. I dipped it into the aioli but preferred it without it. We shared the nachos with pork (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=d4MdZ-KHa-6FxfLgqcxz-A) which was a generous portion of tortilla chips topped with shredded pork, cheese sauce, diced tomatoes, sour cream, and pickled jalapenos. It was an interesting mix of textures and flavors. My friend feared the spiciness of the jalapenos which I found more pickle-y than spicy. The kind cashier pointed us to the water station in the far right corner (https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?userid=saJuyv784apZzH--psHZ3Q&start=24&select=bRARP7KgvtNIWnMbMpX2eA) since we both aren't beer drinkers. This was a nice munchy meal since we didn't want to be too full before dancing to Girls Just Wanna Have Fun. If you're a beer drinker or prefer Mexican cuisine, this is a good option and the wait was not long.

Solid place to grab a craft beer before an event. Lots of seating inside and outside. I have had both their IPAs and am a fan. They also have guest taps such as Barebottle available. There are food options as well. I had an empanada which wasn't bad.

3.5 stars. This place was POPPIN' right before the Chase Center concert I went to! Came here with friends and got lucky snatching up a table outside as others were leaving. I tried some guest brew Double IPA I didn't really care for. Lively vibes overall and a great option if you want to be outside along the water. Meh about the beer itself, though.

What a cool spot! We were headed to the Chase Center for a concert and decided to grab a drink here beforehand. It was packed! We were there on a Friday night and couldn't get a table for a while, so stood and enjoyed the outdoor area. They have a good selection of drinks to choose from. I chose the sour and it was SO good! Several people were eating a meal here, so they do have food too. You order at a counter and then take a seat. The staff working were really friendly and the location is awesome- it definitely got chilly hanging outside here at night. My niece was able to order a mocktail that she enjoyed too.

The beer selection was great, and the ambience of the place was also great. The balcony views of the bay were incredible and I would definitely have a beer here again.

Harmonic got great beer and they have food and snacks as well. We came here on a non-game night for a quiet evening. The space is beautiful and they have board games, views and did I say great beer?! Of course there's a completely different vibe and energy during games and events too. Either way, the bay view is always there - beckoning us. Food wise - both the tacos and empanadas were tasty and a bit small for our appetite. Prices are much more reasonable than inside the arena and average for SF prices. Will be back :)

Can you bring in food from surrounding spots? If there's an event on a Monday, will they open?

Yes if you make a purchase at Harmonic you're welcome to bring outside food. We always open for Monday Chase Center events. Hours are being updated now. Thanks!

Is there still trivia on Tuesday?

Hi! Trivia is resuming 10/1 and will be held on non Chase event Tuesdays. Our weekly schedule post on Instagram will always let you know the status for the week. @harmonicbrewing

Do we need reservations for Super Bowl Sunday?

With the Chase Center playing the game on their giant screen on the plaza, we are expecting a very large walk up crowd, and won't be taking reservations for the super bowl. We do have a lot of seating available, and are encouraging guests to arrive…

Being a native Bay Area person, I always heard about the burrito wars in San Francisco's Mission…read moreDistrict. Over the years I've found myself drawn to the other contender in the Mission way more than El Farolito, so I decided it was time to head back to try this legendary burrito shop. Getting to this location is super simple as we took BART and got off at the 24th Street Mission BART station and from there it's a very short walk of less than a block to get to El Farolito. Walking into the shop one is just slapped in the face with the beautiful smells of the carne asada cooking on the grill right by the door-it's wonderful. It's a modest place that you can definitely tell was built many years ago,so no overly modern amenities-this place cares about the food, not the ambiance. We ended up going with a couple of super burritos of Carne Asada ($11.25) & a regular burrito of Al Pastor($10.25) & also added two tacos one with Al Pastor and one with Carne Asada($4.75) They had beers at $4.75-so we grabbed a couple of Modelos. First the tacos-they were just ok,the tacos were crunchy and I don't know kind of gave Taco Bell vibes. Burritos though-that's a whole different animal. The burrito was so well made from the chew of the tortilla to the seasoning of the carne asada to the perfect balance and mix of all the other ingredients.I judge a burrito harshly if the mix isn't right and you don't get every ingredient in every bite and the mix at El Farolito was flawless. The price point was pretty impressive as well. In closing, El Farolito has always been in the mix as one of the top burrito spots in the Mission, and I can say with confidence that it's in my Top 2 in San Francisco currently. It's an incredible burrito and a true "must-visit" spot when visiting San Francisco. P.S. Just a slight heads up when visiting , it's not the safest neighborhood in the world, so just keep your head up when visiting-this is a place one visits for the food experience not the ambiance.

Even my picky eater, who wouldn't normally choose anything but meat and cheese, ate his as they come. The line here was long, but moved surprisingly fast, and our orders were still good and hot when we got back to our hotel. Street parking is a beast, just like anywhere else in this city. If I was looking to pack on several pounds, I'd eat here every day.

THE BEST food we ate in all of San Francisco!!!…read more This place is very popular and when we pulled up, the line went to the end of the block. Thankfully it moved quickly -- don't be deterred!!! The flow is very interesting-- you wait in line outside until you reach a small kiosk at the doorway. A hostess writes your order in hieroglyphics on server paper and you're given the stub with our order number. You're directed inside to the cashier, who double checks the order and you pay. You remain in the same line, but now you're in front of the assembly line of cooks (shout out Miguel!). The line leads to a hostess, who seats each guest in order. Once seated, you wait for your order to be called, grab you food, and eat. It's very orderly and extremely low stress. It would be utter chaos if guests had to find their own seating -- likely ruining everyone's experience. Instead, you can relax, hang out with others in line, and watch the chef's assembling burritos. The restaurant should be commended for such an efficient process! Onto the food... The carne asado burrito (dorado) is incredible! The meat is tender and salted perfectly. The beans are gooey and delicious. The guacamole is a bright and beautiful green and the taste is exceptional. There was sour cream too, but portioned perfectly to blend in with all the other flavors. The green salsa (the only salsa at the table) was perfectly balanced. I ordered a small horchata and it was overpriced (just shy of $5) and I wouldn't order it on my next visit. The whole experience was incredible and even with a huge line, we were in and out in less than an hour. Not bad at all for the best burritos we've ever had!!!

The hype is nonsense, waiting in line for a mediocre burrito is insane. It's just a basic burrito without rice, call it that. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent burrito but it's not the best and just average at most due to SF not having much competition in the Mexican food space compared to other parts of the Bay Area. The staff are incredible folks, limited seating. If you are a tourist and visiting, this ARE is the reason what outsiders think of SF - it smells, its dirty and grimey all the way. best of luck finding parking and props to you for standing in line while beggars harass you. If you are a tourist, you are better off finding better burritos in San Jose (if you don't mind the drive and safer) or Oakland (the best taquerias are in the more dangerous areas).
