Sesame Chicken (added broccoli) & Mongolian Beef

Mongolian Beef was INSANELY good. So so good. Sesame Chicken was good but *very* breading-heavy so just be aware. House Fried Rice was lacking in flavor and just felt pointless kinda. Definitely coming back for the beef and to try other dishes. Also a huge plus is that it's reasonably priced with respectable portions (my sesame chicken lasted two meals).

Posting of ingredients so you won't harass them about the veganess of things. lol

Pretty blown away by the food here. There's a huge menu with a large variety from which to choose. I did have some concerns about what was vegan vs vegetarian (because the name is Harmony Vegetarian), but the lady said everything is vegan. I then saw a print out of the ingredients for their desserts, so I'm assuming they get questioned a LOT. After a good 15 minutes or so, I finally narrowed down my order. CURRY POCKETS I was expecting curry puffs, a popular Thai snack that I love. This wasn't that and I believe that's why I was disappointed. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't what I wanted or expected, and it lacked any standout qualities. Would not order again. SCALLION PANCAKES Perfect; crispy and savory FRIED CRUNCHY CHICKEN WITH PEPPER SALT A small appetizer portion was perfect for me. They were tasty little bite sized pieces, peppered with tiny little jalapeño bits. FRIED SHRIMP You get 6 huge pieces of shrimp! They were delicious. I just needed a legit tartar sauce to accompany them. STRING BEAN SZECHUAN STYLE Quite delicious. I froze these for 2 weeks, and when I got back to STL, thawed and cooked them, they were even better than before! The flavors really set in! BASIL FRIED RICE Good but missing something. Maybe garlic? I also froze this dish and it too was better after the seasonings marinated in. I did add some of their chili crisp, and let me tell you: this ain't no American chili crisp. It is authentic and full of spice! Pour with caution and control! STIR-FRY NOODLE SINGAPORE STYLE It's fairly good, but I've had better. (Veggie Village in Phoenix, AZ has the best Singapore Noodles in the USA.) GENERAL TSO CHICKEN A nice portioned entree served with broccoli. Crunchy chicken coated in a tangy-sweet sauce. This is Chef Kenny level vegan Asian cuisine. 10/10 would order again! CHINESE DONUTS Look - This is the kind of treat that makes vegans like me return and ask, "Are you sure these are vegan??" Because these taste EXACTLY like the non vegan ones I used to eat decades ago. Like, were the OG Chinese donuts accidentally vegan? If not, why not? It taste exactly the same!! I'm questioning my existence at this point! No, but seriously, I was so obsessed with these donuts that I ate half of them in one sitting, in disbelief of eat bite. Even though I didn't like some dishes, I absolutely loved everything else. Large portions. Fair prices. Lots of space inside to dine in. Restrooms were clean. Employee was patient and helpful. They're located in a shopping strip mall complex that houses a multitude of other local Asian-owned businesses, so there's plenty of parking. I'm not familiar with the ATL area, but I think this is about 20 minutes or so from central Atlanta. They're open for the holidays (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, NYE, and New Year's Day), so be sure to support them and enjoy some of the best vegan food in the A.

Vegan sushi?!?! So glad we found this place! (Shout out to the Vegan Atlanta Facebook page for the suggestion) My partner and I went for Valentine's Day. Cute little spot on Restaurant Row (Buford Hwy). Very clean, including the bathrooms, which I really appreciate! Now, the food....every single thing we got was delicious! Hot and sour soup, general tso's chicken, orange chicken, and the sushi!! Baby, I've missed sushi!! We got the Godzilla roll and it was !! They were busy, but we got our food pretty quickly. It was worth every minute of the wait!

Food was great service was good. Plenty of options as well. As a vegetarian I was overwhelmed with the annoy of dishes I could choose from it was great

I was actually surprised by how much I enjoyed the food here. I ordered the hunan lamb and my friend got the Szechuan chicken with a side of egg rolls. I personally would recommend the lamb just because they use mushroom as the meat substitute and for some of the dishes they use flour as a the meat substitute. The spices were on point and everything tasted fresh. It is clean in the restaurant, but it supposed to give a quick "in and out" eating situation so everything is served on plastic and paper bowls.

We ordered the food at home, the presentation of the food was good. We got Fried Tofu Skin Seaweed Rolls - it was ok, very oily and tasteless Chicken with curry sauce- where is the chicken? The only thing I see is potatoes and some other veggie. Szechuan beef - this was good in taste but again very less meat. Overall okay taste.

Another update with more dishes! This time we got: General Tso's Chicken, Orange Chicken, fried rice, mu Moo Shu Pork, Mongolian Beef General Tso's Chicken is a new fav, followed by Mongolian beef and orange chicken. There's nothing bad here

Mom and pop. My favorite kind of place. Some people have princess dinners at the fancy steak place, my favorite dinners are here. No frills, it's all about the food. The ambience is solid, it's quiet and has all the basics. We ordered the dumplings, string beans, Hunan lamb, and chicken with mixed Vegetables. The dumplings were nice and warm though small and a bit disappointing. Though can't say I've had any dumplings that have been good in ATL. Let's talk about the main courses: the string beans are classic and can do no wrong, the lamb and chicken had interesting meat substitutes. Regardless of what meat word you use the food is all vegetarian. Then we start talking about value. I think that's where it gets a bit tricky as the prices are like you have meat, though the dishes do not. I appreciate supporting a mom/pop business, though I think there are some areas for improvement, specifically feeling like it's the best value. Though definitely worth it to check out at least once.

Great food! Love that it's all vegetarian and I don't have to pick from a limited menu. They have all Chinese dishes. Their poultry imitation fishes are nice and crispy with great sauces. All entrees come with white or brown rice. Their soups are amazing too. It's inside a strip mall and can't be seen from traffic. It has indoor seating. They offer dine in, take out and delivery through door dash/grub hub and Uber eats. They're closed Sun and Mon. There is ample of free parking in the plaza. Highly recommend for Chinese cuisine lovers and vegetarians. Kudos to staff and chef!

Amazing place the food is so amazing!!! Every time we come to Georgia we come here, and the staff here are very nice, and bring your food, very quick! Overall it's an amazing experience.

This place really missed the mark. So i came here for lunch today and left extremely disappointed. I order the curry pies, fried chicken wings, general tso chicken chicken, and sesame chicken. The curry pies were great (reason for the 2 stars) everything else, no good. The wings came with some sauce that was salty. No favor to the wings. Ive had wings just like that from other places and they were great but i dont know that happen here. The general tso and sesame chicken had no meat inside. Just breading. And not like it was one or two pieces, literally every piece. From big pieces to small pieces. I was soooo disappointed. Smh. It was literally fried breading. Smh. I wont be back. I wanted to like this place but no :(

Ask the Community - Harmony Vegetarian Restaurant

Does anyone knows if theres a grocery store or online grocery where i can buy the scallops harmony makes?

The grocery store next to them in the same shopping center actually has the shrimp they use in their dishes. I can't recall the name but you'll know it's a grocery store when you see it. You have to dig deep into their frozen section but they might…

Are these items for sure vegan as in no fish sauce or anything of that nature flavoring wise?

Yep! No fish sauce or anything! Definitely ask them again if you want some more reassurance.

Everything was DELICIOUS. The scallion bubble pancake came out HOT, like hurt-to-touch HOT. It was crispy and airy. It was served with a side of mild curry sauce. The noodles, lamb, and eggplant came out hot temperature-wise as well, but they were also hot spice-wise, especially the cumin lamb. The spice levels cleared my sinuses, LOL. But though I struggled with the spice, I kept on eating because all of the dishes were delicious and flavorful. The tender lamb was served on little skewers. The dry fried eggplant was super crispy; the pieces were shaped like spicy fries. I liked Grandma's noodles even more. The noodles had that bouncy, chewy, hand-pulled feel and were covered in vinegar & hot chili oil. I appreciated the portions. Despite being an appetizer, Grandma's Noodles came out on a large plate, and for being small plates, the eggplant and lamb were pretty filling. The service was also friendly and attentive. My food came out quick, and the staff constantly kept my glass of water filled. My only annoyance was the $1 charge for the bowl of white rice, but the food and service more than made up for that small, inexpensive annoyance.

Parking: For anyone coming here for any occasion make sure you validate your parking with the restaurant. The ONLY parking lot they validate is the one right beside the restaurant! Drinks: I got the strawberry lemon drop drink. It was good and did come with the vodka flavor with natural strawberry syrup. It was good. The vegetable dumpling was good! On to the main entree was the House Lo Mein. It was just average and not the greatest I've tried. It took a minute before our server came back. To me it needed more flavor, seasoning and it didn't have any spice what's so ever! I wouldn't get it again. The thing I found annoying/unprofessional was the staff taking forever to give me and my friend out checks. We came into the establishment an hour before they closed. At that time a lot of people were still in the place. However, by the time we received our checks we were the last people in their establishment. The other individuals were the workers cleaning up. We tried to get a server to come to our table sooner but wasn't successful. This is my sole opinion but I wasn't over impressed over food.

The whole setup is like a mini food hall with several authentic Chinese spots to choose from--but Chong Qing is where I landed. Everything came out on real dishes--not to-go boxes--which I loved. You order and pay at the counter, grab a seat, and they bring the food out to you. Now let's talk about the food... DELICIOUS. The spice level was just right--flavorful with a nice kick, but not overpowering. If you like it hotter, you can definitely add more heat, but I was perfectly satisfied as is. The lo mein was really good too--veggies were fresh with a nice crisp (those onions and carrots were hitting!), and everything tasted well-balanced. Only small note: I wish there was a little more meat in the dish, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. And let me say this--the portion size is VERY generous. I ate until I was full and still had just as much left to take home, which is always a win in my book. All in all, I'll definitely be back to try more.
