Lunch time with hubby, thanks to American Express Gold!
    Thuy W.

Omg! I love the vibe here, the music was on point. AC was blasting on this hot day! I got the cake cakes meal with Mac n cheese. Crab cake was everything I could ask for, the sauce and veggies pair well with it. Love how they offer a lemon also to squeeze on the crab cake. I was in a need for a delicious salad and the house salad did not disappoint either. Came with eggs, cucumber and real bacon pieces not the fake hard ones in the bag. Hubby got him braised boneless beef short rib with collard green. He was also very pleased. We both finish everything on our plate no left over which is a good sign. Definitely check them out guys. I can see why they been in business for over 3 decades. Lots of parking right up front also. Bathroom was clean and bar area was super cool. FYI if you are a American Express Gold or platinum card member you get 500l.00 dine in credit also!!!

The ribs were tender and the portion was large, the BBQ sauce could have been better. The fish and chips were great, We had a a nice server and the restaurant vibe was laid back. The glasses are small, like highball glasses and so it was difficult for the server. We ordered iced tea and they did not have a pitcher for refills so he had to make a trip to bring us a new glass which meant there was nothing to drink several times throughout our meal. I like Harper's - just need some taller glasses and a new sweet smoky bbq sauce.

Bar area is comfortable and a typical bar vibe. Service was quick. Our waitress never let drinks go empty and was very attentive. The Rueben was awesome. Full of corned beef and perfectly grilled. The only downfall was the fact that the sandwich was so full, the bread got a little soggy. It was still very good. The fries were crispy and hot. Overall a very good experience!

Harper's is a classic bar/restaurant and Grill. It's a very large restaurant with lots of seating. It is in an area with a lot of shopping so there is ample parking. Overall, the service was OK. It wasn't anything outstanding. Our server forgot a few things and mixed up orders a few times however outside of that, he was very pleasant The food overall was OK, nothing special. It was fine for a post work dinner, but I would not necessarily want to go back.

The restaurant was very clean and comfortable. The service was good. The food was very good, and the calamari was excellent. My daughter's mediterranean grilled chicken salad had 2 small pieces of chicken in it, but other than that, it was a good experience.

Ok so the only reason I went with 4 stars is because we went here as a group and wanted items from the bars bite menu and unfortunately you cant do the happy hour bar bites prices if you dont go to the actual bar and with a group as large as ours we could only split the bills by 4 separate checks which is super inconvenient if you have a lot of seniors who dont use cash app or zelle or that type of technology. Now as far as the service, the staff was great and I ordered a kids chicken strip meal and an old fashion that was like a banana chocolate flavored one....it was weird but I drank it because im not wasting it lol but the chicken strips OMG I've eaten a gazillion chicken strips in my life and these were phenomenal. The batter was light and reminded me of tempura and the seasoning was so on point I would totally go back just to order this

I totally forgot to take pictures, but I had the Tuscan ribeye with pesto sauce and grilled asparagus. Also ordered a house salad with blue cheese dressing. My husband had the same and I'm gonna have to tell you. This was one of the best meals I've eaten in a long time out, the steak was delicious that pesto sauce they have on there is so good. The service was amazing as always in the ambience was nice. It's a nice place to go. this was our Valentine's Day dinner and it was delicious and I really enjoyed it and I hate I forgot to take the pictures but we were enjoying going out. I did get a shot of the salad before I devoured it.

Harper's at Friendly Center in Greensboro is one of our go to's.. We usually eat in the bar area. The food is always good and the establishment has a "nice restaurant" vibe. Today I got the Salmon wrap and pasta salad. My wife got Chicken noodle soup and the Wedge salad. Not an elite food experience, but reliable upper scale chain in my opinion..

My youngest son took me out for dinner this evening, and he made reservations to this restaurant. We ordered calamari as our appetizer, and it was delicious. He ordered the ribeye w steak fries and a coke. He wanted his steak cooked medium rare, and thought steak was slightly over cooked to his desired texture. I had the trout w garlic mashed potatoes, and a glass of Chardonnay to pair my meal w. Zack/ server was very cordial and attentive, which made our experience even better. We were both stuffed but couldn't resist to have dessert. Overall, I think Harper never disappoints again the service made a great impact to having a phenomenal dinner with my family. The restaurant is always clean. There's also a bar section that I may give it a shot one of these days.

I visited Harper's as part of a holiday luncheon with my colleagues. We were seated in a designated section of the restaurant and assured by multiple employees. The service was great. Everyone was friendly and helpful when answering any questions that we had. Due to this being a booked luncheon, we were given preselected menu items to choose from. I ordered the salmon with asparagus. I'm not a fan of asparagus, so I ordered a side of the mashed potatoes, which were so good. The salmon was lacking seasoning, in my opinion. While waiting for our lunch, a few of us walked over to the bar to order a drink. I ordered a Strawberry Lemon Drop. The bartender did her thing when making my drink. I wish that I remembered her name because she deserves all of the credit. I'd go back to Harper's just because of her bartending skills. The food was lacking for me. Perhaps I would've enjoyed it more if I was able to pick from other menu options.

We stopped in recently for dinner and we were not disappointed! I ordered the trout, sweet potato fries, and a side of seasonal veggies - all delicious. HIGHLY recommend the sweet potato fries with their honey mustard - it's basically drinkable. Hubby loved his wings and our toddler had zero complaints!

This place is GOOD and I'm mad that it took me so long to discover it! I went with coworkers on a weekday during lunchtime and it wasn't too busy. We were seated immediately. I ordered the salmon wrap. The wrap comes with your choice of side from three options (fries, sweet potato fries, or pesto pasta salad). I chose the pesto pasta salad. The whole meal was delicious! Service was quick and friendly. There were many other things I wanted from the menu, so I'll need to go again. Parking is plentiful since this is located in the Friendly Center.

We went for a Sunday lunch with our baby around 2pm and there was at least 5 table waiting in the line. We waited for around 25 minutes and they called us to show our table. I look around and they were at least 5 tables empty around us. What it looked like a full restaurant actually it was a disorganized staff that did not work properly to receive their customers. After that we stay for more 20 minutes to the waitress ask us about drinks and more 15 minutes to return to order the food. When the food came we were so hungry and tired of waiting, but I thought the waiting would worth it. Unfortunately, it doesn't. My steak was ok, the size was less than I expected, my husband order the tuna that at least was more tasty than mine. Probably won't came back for the long waiting but it sad to see such a nice, well located and beautiful restaurant with some disorganized service.

    Salmon wrap...it was just ok.

My husband and I were in downtown Greensboro on a Saturday afternoon and decided to hit this place up for lunch. When they called the place The Bodega, they really mean it's a bodega. It's decked out like a small convenience store from the second you walk in. We ordered our food at the cash register to eat at one of their tables outside. The cashier brought our sandwiches out about 10 minutes after ordering. I ordered the Turkey Caesar. It had turkey, shaved parmesan, marinated cherry tomato, house-made Caesar dressing, onion, and romaine lettuce in an 8" sandwich roll. It was a little pricey at $15, but it was worth the splurge. The dressing and parmesan cheese were unbelievable! Since this is in downtown Greensboro, there is no dedicated parking lot but we easily found street parking nearby. The place has a few tables outside for customers to enjoy their food. If you're looking for a good sandwich, I highly recommend checking The Bodega out.

Upon walking in the place appeared clean, the customer service, not the best. But maybe someone was having a bad day, I get it. I'm so glad I did check my bag before I left because they did not give me ranch or plasticware, man I would have missed out on some amazing ranch. The young man gave me three ranches which I'm so disappointed I only grabbed one. Unfortunately I didn't get the best pictures but the food tasted great. The fries were thick cut (probably frozen) and let me tell you, I would just come back for the ranch! They have my favorite restaurant ranch. The slaw was really tasty - good ole southern sweet mayonnaise slaw, not too vinegary. The sandwich, not bad, good combo of toppings, they paired well together. I' ll be back. Not a huge deal because I was putting my food on the plates, but it's the little things. No complaints on food for round 2. Got more mousse and was able to get lettuce this time. An employee had been working on stocking the salad bar while I ate my first plate and continued during my second. While I ate my second serving someone I assume may have been a manager of sorts came out and was giving the employee stocking feedback. I then watched the manager start filling containers by ADDING THE REFILL ON TOP - no rotating, no changing containers, just adding on top. Not acceptable. Seating is and always has been cramped in here. I had to weave around tables to get to my seat. We also saw someone have their sunglasses knocked off their head by someone exiting to the patio because their table was that close to the door. The gentleman picking up trays and plates was smiling and quick. It was nice to see!
