Person I came with doesn't eat raw fish (I know. ) but they have an asterisk on each item that doesn't have raw fish. They also have a ham roll (we passed but still) and more than one vegetarian roll. If you don't do AYCE more than half the rolls are 50% off. Miso was great. Tempura was great. Gyoza was great. The albacore crunch onion roll was a little disappointing - onions were definitely fried ahead of time, they were cold and not crunchy. Hello yellowtail came with giant stalks of the white part of the lettuce, I ate around it. Still tho. The sushi was super fresh. Gonna order a couple different things next time. Me and my mom decided to try out a new sushi place nearby since we were starving. We found out hello sushi and wanted to try the all you can eat menu so we ordered a few sushi rolls like the crunch roll,baked salmon roll, and some nigiri (ikura,squid,and salmon). The first round came quite quickly and the sushi rolls were good but to our surprise the nigiris were made with a LOT of RICE and only a few of the fish instead. The rice of the ikura nigiri was like a size of a golf ball and the ikura itself was very few in proportion. (So basically this restaurant needs to learn the concept of proportion.) We ordered baked muscles that came very late and a salmon hand roll that NEVER came to our table and the waiter didn't give us back our all you can eat paper and we both ended up using round 1 and never finished the last 2 rounds. I just hope that this restaurant improves their proportion,service, and if you are a fan of eating sushi rolls instead of nigiris this is the place for you, but their is not much of a good selection for nigiris and some entrees. read more

Hello Sushi is an AYCE sushi place in Fullerton, CA. Located in a strip mall with ample parking in a lot (free). Decor is sort of modern/Japanese. Booths have granite (or similar) tabletop. Got seated right-a-way. You can choose AYCE ($31.98 lunch, $38.98 dinner) or A la Carte. For AYCE, you can choose up to 10 items (nigiri, rolls, appetizers, etc) for 3 "rounds". There is a 1.5 hour time limit and a charge for leftovers. I would say the size of the nigiri is medium size (bigger than at Kura Revolving Sushi). They do NOT load up the nigiri with rice to make you full. The nigiri rice ball was actually small/half-size (about the size of half my thumb). Rolls also were NOT overloaded with rice (unlike what a previous reviewer claimed). Sushi was fresh. I ordered 2 rounds of 10 items each. Everything tasted good. Struggled to finish round 2 because was full. Excellent/efficient service. Recommend and would visit again. read more

We got excited for the AYCE because we don't have a lot of it back in Hawaii, especially for a great price. The size of their rolls and nigiri are great too. Flavors were awesome and I wish I ordered LESS so I could savor it better. We ordered a lot at one go and once it all arrived I was overwhelmed that I couldn't eat it all. My suggestion would be to order 1 or 2 nigiri orders and 1 of the 4-8 piece specialities. I don't remember the names for the dishes I ate but everything pictured was yummy. I came in today during dinner time with my gf & daughter. We were seated right away and asked what we wanted to drink. The server came back 5 minutes later with our drinks and then left. I saw him a few minutes later fixing some chairs nearby but didn't come by to ask what we wanted to order. We were hungry and we were ready to order All-You-Can-Eat. We wanted to start marking our options so when they came by they would have our 1st round but there was no pencil available. Another server came and brought us a pencil a few minutes later. Unfortunately, another 10 minutes passed and waiters passed our way a few times. We were fed up at this point and wanted to leave. A different server came by and asked if we were ready to order but I told her we've been waiting too long and just wanted to pay for the drinks so we can leave. Embarrassingly, she just apologized and actually accepted to get our bill so I can pay for the 3 soft drinks LOL I thought they wouldn't charge me for taking so long but they couldn't even do that.
