Took my car here after spending a lot of money at the VW dealership and not getting the problem (air conditioner blowing warm air) fixed. After the problem wasn't fixed after the first expensive trip to the dealership, they tried to tell me I would need a new compressor, which would cost around $2,000. I saw the positive reviews on here for Herb's and thought I'd give them a try. I was very impressed with the whole experience, and the great customer service Ashlin provided, giving me continuous updates after I dropped my car off. They ended up doing a quick filter replacement for a cost a fraction of the cost of what VW said I needed, and wouldn't have solved the issue. They even noticed my oil was a little low and topped it off for me. They are a very friendly and honest family-owned business, and I will definitely be back for future maintenance! read more

On Sunday, October 17 my car broke down because my fuel injector went out. AAA towed it to Herb's garage after hours. I came in the next morning and darron confirmed the problem with my car. He's super nice and I was in and out and even made it to work time! I came back that same day to pick up my car and told me a rat chewed through my wires (CRAZY!!) I went to this place because I found it on yelp and needed a smog check. They definitely charge more than average for the oil change but the service was very friendly and made me feel like I was taken care of. As a surprise at the end the guy completely cleaned my headlight. They have never been that clear!
