I just spent $10 on 17 mushrooms and the guy said that's a lot they normally just give 10 a dollar a mushroom is CRAZY!

    Carne Asada Burrito 3.5/5

Got food to go and it was okay. They forgot our fries. Carne Asada Burrito 3.5/5 - The burrito had a good amount of meat, rice, beans, and vegetables. It was flavorful, but also a bit salty.

Thin itty bitty patties. Not even a 1/4 lb double burger.

This place used to be a solid burger joint. But whoever is in charge now needs to hear this. Your food has gone downhill. Meat is overcooked, thin patties, like a 1/16", and the order is rarely right. I order a double cheese avocado bacon....i expect all this things inside of it. Your cook has one job to follow instructions of the customer. Only reason you're getting two stars is cause your fries and rings are still good. But it's not enough to keep me coming back. There is a reason why Nexx and In n Outs drive thru's are packed! Cause they make great burgers! Over priced and horrible burgers. Done with you guys.

I am a chili cheese fries fries enthusiast so I get them often especially if it's a new place never been before. They are good however for the price you pay on this size it's too much. I am ok with the price IF the quality is there in this case the price doesn't fit the quality. Almost $11 for a small. No thanks.

Glob of sticky packets of ketchup that were in our bag went straight into the trash!

I'm sad to say that my Hercules is starting to live up to their 3-Star rating - Big Sigh! It's been a little bit since the last time we were here so we decided to order our favorites for dinner. We usually call-in our order then swing through the drive-thru to pick up. The challenge began with the gal that answered the phone who took our order. She really struggled taking down our order of a Patty Melt with extra grilled onions, fried zucchini, and a sausage breakfast burrito. Unfortunately, I don't think our Patty Melt had ANY onions ‍, the fried zucchini were wimpy, not crispy like they usually are - the containers of green salsa we got were bloated and I think they were spoiled - and the packets of ketchup were a sticky mess - it was a glob of sticky packets - we just threw them away. It was kinda gross! We bought the burrito for our son so we hope they didn't mess that up too. It makes me really sad that quality of our go-to spot for a Patty Melt and zucchini fries has gone downhill! I'm reducing my rating to 3-stars and we'll probably won't be going back for a while.

Gave it another chance. Still pretty mediocre at best. I thought that giving this place another go, would make it better than the last time. But I was wrong lol I ordered something different this time too. But it was pretty basic. I went with a cheese quesadilla meal. The beans and rice were inedible. Those tasted way overcooked or maybe they were stale/ day old. Gross. The cheese fries were a pile of mush. Disappointed in those items big time. The cheese and egg taco was alright. Edible at least. But if "at least it's edible" is my take on the place, that is setting the bar pretty low.

Came in Thursday morning, it was very slow, place was clean and they have TVs on. There is plenty of space if you wanna come w the fam. Food was good had a breakfast burrito that was meaty and full of Flavor. Wife order a breakfast sandwich it was ala so good. Everyone was friendly and polite, first time dining in will come back again.

2 egg breakfast sandwich on French bread. Fresh and really good!

Told us everything is made in-house, even the sauces! That's really good to know and makes me feel better about the food. She even gave me a free delicious cookie for being a first timer! And she comes around from time to time to check on us to make sure we're enjoying our food. Really nice to receive this kind of attention from a fast-casual restaurant. The Santa Maria BBQ Salad looked good but I asked her if they could substitute the chicken with the Chimichurri steak and she said "sure!" And surprisingly they did not charge extra! I love restaurants that are flexible like this. My salad bowl was SO good and filling. Lots of good stuff in it: chopped salad mix, coleslaw mix, Applewood-smoked bacon, crumbled goat cheese, corn & black bean salsa, grape tomatoes. Served with chipotle ranch dressing and blackberry BBQ sauce on the side, and a fresh baked focaccia bread. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the cold meat. I was under the impression that the meat was going to be hot. My BF got the Southwestern Sandwich. It was delicious. All the Southwestern flavors were there but not overwhelming. The sandwich was hot and juicy. For a restaurant that makes everything from scratch, their prices are very affordable. Both our meals were only $27 total. Friendly service, great food and good prices - what not to love?

My son called Culinary Dropout and spoke with Olivia, the hostess, to see if the kitchen was still serving. Olivia responded with genuine warmth and kindness, assuring us that the kitchen was still open and that they would be happy to welcome us. From the moment we arrived, Olivia's hospitality set the tone for an exceptional evening. She greeted us with a warm smile, made us feel genuinely welcome, and promptly seated us. Shortly after, our server, Layla, introduced herself. Despite the late hour, she was energetic, engaging, and had an infectious enthusiasm that elevated the entire dining experience. She expertly recommended several cocktails, along with a glass of wine, and her knowledge of both the bar program and the menu was impressive. Her recommendations for appetizers and entrées were spot on. We decided on the Wagyu Pigs in a Blanket, BBQ Nachos, and the Spicy Rigatoni. Every dish was beautifully prepared, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. Another team member, Emanuel, delivered one of our dishes and was equally personable and engaging. He took the time to share information about the restaurant, further demonstrating the outstanding level of hospitality displayed by the entire team. Manager Dave also stopped by our table to check on our experience. We shared with him that this was, without question, one of the best dining experiences we've had in Orange County in quite some time. Great food certainly matters, but it was the exceptional service, genuine hospitality, and positive energy of the staff that made the evening truly memorable. A sincere thank you to Layla, Olivia, Emanuel, Dave, and the entire Culinary Dropout team for creating such a first-class dining experience. We look forward to returning soon and will gladly recommend your restaurant to family and friends.

We stopped by here on my birthday for a nice evening dinner. Got there a little before sunset. There's just something magical about eating outside during a sunset, especially at the Orange Plaza. The restaurant has such a cool look and vibe! We started off with the Hamachi crudo, salmon ceviche, and a bowl of clam "chowdah". The crudo was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The salmon ceviche was really good but a bit heavy on the sauce for me. The clam chowder had whole clams in the shell throughout. That was fun to pick them out! For entrees we got the lean and mean plate with sea bass. It comes with salad and rice, we substituted the rice for black beans. We also got the skirt steak "bulgogi" which was served on top of mushrooms and bok choy with a sweet soy sauce. They accidentally brought out salmon instead of sea bass, but were very apologetic. They brought out a sea bass on the side and comped the entree to make up for it. Great service right there! The salmon and seabass were both delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and juicy, full of flavor. As a birthday gift they brought out a thai milk tea blondie sundae which was soooo good! Get it if you like sweets. I wish the owners all the best in their future endeavors, they created a great restaurant that many will miss. Thanks to all the servers, hostesses, cooks, and bussers as well for making my birthday dinner so special!
