A night out at Ron-A-Roll nearby in Vernon prompted a pre-game meal at Hibachi Grill Buffet. Parking was super easy. A line to get seated but not a long wait at all. Super attentive service from our waitress Moon. Buffett selection was massive along with the fresh made hibachi and sushi. Make sure to leave room for desert - so many good options. Lots of seating options for singles or large groups. Great price point for a weekend buffet - under $20 per person is nice.

The go to option is what I usually go for. I believe that the takeout price provides great value. This place is usually busy and has a plethora of items in their buffet. They have a hibachi station that I really enjoy, and it comes with a bunch of different sauces. The inside decor is actually pretty good and has a little bit of fanciness to it. I would definitely recommend this buffet!

A fairly generic chinese buffet, getting hugged hard by the community. I've been keeping an eye on the locations around me, waiting for the new locations to start up so I can give them a try. This one was intriguing, hibachi and sushi along with your standard buffet items? Why not give it a shot. Lots of people think you got to sit and eat at a buffet. In most cases, you can get a to-go container and pay by the pound. It might not be as cost-effective as eating in, but it is quicker and you get a plate or two of all the little things you want to try to bring home. The place since I have known it has been very busy. there's always a line of hungry patrons waiting to get a seat and start eating. The decor inside is fairly pretty, lots of care taken to make it look very clean and exuberant. The food, it's pretty much what I expect from a buffet. Lots of pre-made foods on hotplates. The sushi area was unmanned, which I later learned was because the sushi chef they hired quit due to the massive amounts of pressure. The hibachi had a single guy manning the helm with a swarm of people waiting to give them their plates. The dining room was packed, and there was a ton of people in the waiting pavilion waiting to be seated. Some other key points: They charge extra per pound if you have any seafood in your to-go container. They have a last call at 9 pm. Meaning that if you get there after 9 they will not let you dine-in. Parking is a little bit weird, but PC richards typically has spaces if you need them. They also have a 60 minute dining window. So you get an hour to eat, then you got to go. if you go in expecting chinese buffet, it meets that need. it's cheap, it's plentiful, and it's okay. With the sushi and hibachi fully manned, this might be a nice place to try later. right now, it works for what it is.

They are finally open. They were advertising that they were open months before they really opened. I took out lunch from there. I was the only one taking out from here at that time, everyone else were dining in. From seafood section, I took 3 shrimp items and all were good. One which tasted like honey shrimp was the best. Chicken on my stick was my favorite item here. Spring roll wasn't as good as I expected. From dessert section, I tried sesame ball and crab rangoon (looks like). Both were good. I didn't like the hibachi that much. I went for beef hibachi, and beef wasn't as good, nor were the other ingredients. Icecream was in individual cups rather than scooping from a large tub. I went in at the opening time. Item names were all jumbled up. That is a huge issue if you have dietery restrictions. They have some rules which seems more restrictive than similar buffet places - like 2 hour table limit, no drink sharing even if it is non refillable, you pay for what you waste, $8 for anyone with 2 feet (babies reach 2 feet before 1 year).

You might have to trust me a bit when it comes to buffets. I've visited buffets over the years and all but one are amazing or good. If you've visited the Hibachi Grill Buffet when it was opened in West Hartford pre-pandemic, then you might like it here. It was Friday night...busy, crowded, parking full, a lot of customers dining in, what a typical start of the weekend. That's what you might expect through those nights. I get it! But the point of that buffet is that you might find a decent assortment of everything from Chinese food to American style food to sushi and seafood. There's no selection of Ice Cream unlike its previous life in West Hartford. The atmospheric decor is soundly amazing. The food is good. Decent selection of drinks. Prices are average especially when seated with multiple people as a group. Nice employees. Bathrooms are alright but needs more sanitization. A little long period of waiting time before being seated but that's okay. Just to let you know that that building right near Buckland mall used to be HomeTown Buffet before it closed in late 2010s but and you can still see the old labelscar on one side of the building from its days as HomeTown Buffet. I like this place. We as a family ate a lot of good food last night. I was very thrilled to see the buffet come back to Manchester although the one in Vernon (I live in this town) at Ocean State Job Lot plaza didn't look open and the food was disgusting so I am relieved that this was one close by but not the closest buffet from where I live.

About a month to two months ago, my Brother treated my mom and I to lunch here and had an amazing time. Yesterday my brother took my mom, sister and I out for dinner since my sister is only in town for the next few days and to celebrate me finding gainful employment. Like last time, the restaurant was buzzing with life and activity and is extremely popular with locals, especially on a Friday night when no one wants to cook! Anyways, the food was once again, phenomenal. However, there is a huge difference in what they offer at the buffet during lunch service and dinner service. The main difference between lunch and dinner is that there are more shellfish offered during dinner mainly clams, mussels, crawfish and head-on shrimp. During dinner service, they also offer American style barbecue which includes barbecued ribs, pulled pork and pulled beef, which I did not try this trip. This trip, I tried the crawfish and head on shrimp, both of which were boiled in some sort of Cajun seasoning that had a nice bite and kick to it and were absolutely delicious. I also tried the General Tso's Chicken which was both sweet and spicy and delicious. I also had my usual of potstickers, black pepper chicken, and ate my weight in sushi. Speaking of sushi, I probably ate my weight in sushi. It was very filling and the dinner portion is actually much larger than the lunch portion and they also have different types of rolls for the dinner service as well. Overall, my sister enjoyed her first experience and looks forward to coming back the next time she visits and I will definitely be back for dinner service. Lastly, if you do plan to visit here, come with an empty stomach! And yes, the question of "Are you open on Christmas Day?" Still stands.

My fiancé and I are big Indian fans and love trying new Indian restaurants. We always pass by this…read moreplaza but forgetting that Peppers is here. One Thursday evening we wanted to go out for dinner but didn't have a plan on where. My fiancé was just driving and we saw Peppers and was like, ok, today is the day! The parking lot was decently packed so that was a good sign. Upon entering, we did not realize how large the inside of the restaurant was. Plenty of seating and there was another room on the other side with even more tables. Our waitress asked if we would like to look at their buffet options and after a quick look, we decided to just order off of the dinner menu for our first time. The place was a tad bit warm for my liking, but hopefully that's only because it was 50° outside. I always get the chicken tikka masala when I try new Indian restaurants as a baseline on how I determine if I liked their curry. My fiancé was a bit more adventurous and tried the Karaikudi chicken. We got two orders of naan, the garlic and bullet, and shortly after our food arrived. I went over to wash my hands before feasting and saw there were sinks lined against the wall.. The soap dispenser worked but none of the sinks had running water. So, I headed over to the bathroom, soap in one of my hands. The tikka masala was on the thicker side of what I'm used to, and was not as red compared to other places. I appreciate the light use of red food coloring, but the thickness of the curry kinda threw me off. I also asked for it spicy but this tasted more of a medium level, when I wanted that nose-dripping sweating feeling. I appreciated the amount of chicken that came with it, but it wasn't as fall-apart tender as I would have liked. It also seemed as though this was made in bulk and just scooped out when ordered because it was just warm and not as hot. Not my favorite tikka masala, but I would try another one of their dishes. My fiancé thoroughly enjoyed his Karaikudi chicken. He ordered his as medium spicy but it came out spicier than my dish. His was also a lot hotter in temperature so I enjoyed it more as well. He had a pleasant experience and would return. The naan was the star of the show. I enjoyed the slight crisp and chewiness and it paired well with the curries. I did not appreciate how the hot curries were served in plastic dishes as that is not the best for your health. For something that high in temperature they should consider investing in ceramic dishes. We were also given cheap plastic black dishes to eat on. I was curious about how much the buffet costed so I asked our waitress. I'm not sure if it was her thick accent but I'm pretty sure I heard $49.99 per person. Holy cow. We were there for dinner time but what an incredibly steep price! My fiancé and I ended up spending around $50 with enough food to also take home with us. We cannot justify $50 per person without food to take home. Indian is an incredibly dense and heavy food to consume! I'm really hoping I misheard her, but if that wasn't the case, we wouldn't try their buffet and just order off the normal menu. Overall, we may return to try again. I was pleasantly surprised at the service and ambiance of the place. From our experience, we usually order take out at Indian restaurants because the service is usually lacking, the vibes aren't right, and there's usually a finger in our food as it arrives to our table. The servers had gloves on here and there was an Indian soundtrack playing in the background. Lots of different people were present and service was pretty tentative. Other than the buffet price, I'd say the normal dinner menu's prices were pretty comparable to most others. The service, naan, and my fiancé's dish were a win, and might be enough for us to return on our next Indian night out.

The food was delicious but the service was mediocre at best. We were the only ones eating and…read moreordered lamb vindaloo , tika masala and masala dosa. I'm starting it out with sambar. Sambar is a flavorful, lentil-based stew that's a cornerstone of South Indian cuisine. It's typically made with pigeon pea lentils (toor dal), tamarind, vegetables, and a fragrant spice blend known as sambar powder. The dish is often tempered with mustard seeds, curry leaves, and dried red chilies. Sambar is known for its rich, aromatic flavors and diverse variations across different regions. This is a bit spicy and very salty but I one it! Next up, I'm having a [vegetarian] samosa. A samosa is a crispy, fried pastry that originated in the Middle East and is popular in South Asian and West Asian cuisine. The savory snack is made with a pastry-like crust and can be filled with spiced potatoes, peas, onions, meat, or fish. The filling can be spicy or sweet, and the shape varies by region, sometimes triangular, crescent, or cone-shaped. It is often served with a couple sauces. These are good! The light green one is called a green chutney. Green chutney is the most common sauce served with samosas, which is made with a combination of cilantro and mint. Other options include mango chutney, tamarind chutney, tomato chutney, or raita, which is a yogurt-based sauce. This can be a bit spicy. The brown one is a tamarind sauce. Tamarind sauce, often used in Thai and Indian cuisines, is a condiment made from the pulp of the tamarind fruit, known for its unique tangy, sweet, and slightly sour flavor profile. This is less spicy and very tasty. For my appetizer, I'm having the Baby Corn Pepper Fry. These are battered baby corns that ate stir fried. It is quite good and nicely garnished. For my entree, I'm having the Gongura Chicken Kabab tandoor. Gongura, also known as sorrel or roselle, is a leafy green vegetable with a tangy flavor, commonly used in South Indian cuisine, particularly in Andhra Pradesh, to make chutneys, pickles, and curries. It's boneless, well seasoned and mixed in with purple onions and green bell peppers. Be sure to add the lemon! This is fantastic! Easy to eat and very light. For dessert, I'm the Carrot Halwa. Gajar ka halwa, also known as gajar halwa, is a beloved North Indian dessert of grated carrots cooked down into a pudding-like consistency with milk, sugar, cardamom, and sometimes ghee. The word gajar means "carrot" in Hindi, and halwa refers to the porridge-like texture. This sweet treat is often made during the winter months when red carrots are plentiful, and can be served warm or cold as a snack or dessert. This is a low cholesterol, delicious dessert! They don't have their own restrooms; it is in the building (go down the stairs, then to the left under the stairs). They have AYCE and regular menu items. We came for AYCE, which you can order 3 rounds of, so make sure you order enough (but not too much, because you are charged for excessive leftovers). We only needed to order 2 rounds. They can get pretty busy, so it may take a bit to get your order, but they are good at making sure you get your whole order. The service is friendly as well. We ordered a large variety. The Age Tofu was pretty good as a general consensus, though most of the fried stuff was a bit too oily. The Kani Salad was pretty good (their spicy mayo is tasty). The fish is decent quality and fresh. Most of the sushi didn't have too much rice, which I liked. The rice held together well. Still, I prefered the "tataki" (sashimi with ponzu) over the sushi. I do wish they had a regular scallop sushi, as the spicy scallop sushi is a small piece of scallop with lots of spicy mayo and rice. The special rolls (we got Fancy Tuna, Enter the Dragon, Mango Tango and Spider Roll) are pretty heavy, as most of the flavor is from the sauces. You can order things without the dressing or sauces (see the house salad without dressing....yes, it's just lettuce lol) Make sure to save room for ice cream! They have Vanilla, Green Tea (Matcha), Strawberry, and Fried (Vanilla). The Green Tea is a really strong matcha, which I love! For $28/weekend adult pricing, it's a pretty good deal. Just make sure you leave time to sit and wait.

Two people manning the entire restaurant, deep in the orders and unable to assist the front. Going to the kiosk, put in a bowl and everything is an up charge. Want noodles? Extra. Want veggies? Extra. Want them combined with the protein? Extra. Then there's upsales after each bowl entry and when you go to check out. Even after all that, two junior bowls end up costing 36 bucks. The portion was fine for the price paid, and the quality of the food was good for a chain. None of my problems are the fault of the employees, they literally had no time between making orders to address the inbound customers. The problem is the company, and they are openly hostile towards their customer base. Unless you specifically are looking for a teriyaki bowl, I would highly advise that you look local and support those businesses before choosing this place.
