Great place to catch brunch with family and has a arcade area to hangout. Definitely will be visiting again for the next trip!

Worth a stop, especially if you're looking for something "homemade" for a picnic or to-go! This is such a cute place & perfect to grab a couple sandwiches, beverages and something sweet for the trails on Mt. Hood. The ladies that work there are awesome and even when busy, crank out amazing sandwiches. Their ingredients are fresh & baked goods are always a treat. In the winter it's a nice place to stop for a hot drink after (or before) hitting the slopes & in the summer a relaxing spot if you score a sunny table on their balcony.

Love this cafe on the mountain. Always go here instead of starlight. Friendly staff too

One of our favorite breakfast spots in Govy Camp! Walk in, menu hanging above the chef's area on the right. Place your order at the register and listen for your name to be called. We're purposely up here on weekdays (Monday - Thursday), so we can avoid the chaos of too many weekend tourists. If you can manage to do the same, DO IT. The breakfast bagels here are tasty and their breakfast burrito could easily feed two folks. It's BIG & hearty. Great French toast dusted with powdered sugar too. I highly recommend the Hot Apple Pie adult beverage High Mountain offers. It's sweet and cidery and warms you from the inside with the magic of Tuaca. GLORIOUS. Got some young ones (or some young at heart grown ups) with you that need something to amuse them while you wait for your meals to be prepared? Send them to the back area where there is an extremely impressive arcade room, FULL of games. I didn't count how many they had when I was there last, but certainly at least a dozen. Bonus: They ALL WORK and are in excellent condition!! Dig in that purse for all the quarters you've got! Great staff. Lots of yum yums. Nice atmosphere. Enjoy!

Basic breakfast. Got the veggie bagel. Not super flavorful. Small. And took forever. My friend got the alpine bagel also small and burnt bagel.

    Bomb thrower...really good!

Lousy coffee (sorry). Who doesn't know a cappuccino from a Latte in OR?? This town could use a good coffee shop!

It was seasoned perfectly. The pita bread was perfect and didn't fall apart or crumble and held the juices from the lamb and the Greek tzatziki sauce perfectly. The fries!! OMG the fries!! I've never tasted fries anything like them. They were squiggly not curly. They had a light seasoning and were the best quality and texture perfectly crisped in the frier. My husband ordered the margharita pizza and it lacked seasoning to be honest. The sauce needed garlic and the basil didn't have enough flavor. My husband really liked it but agreed it needed more seasoning. I was a little disappointed not to get a soda refill and our waitress was a little busy as the lunch crowd started filling up the restaurant. To be fair we sat outside so we were unaware that it was getting busy inside. I definitely will rerun for the gyro (I've nicknamed it the crack sandwich) and will highly recommend it. They have a giant pretzel fondue for $20 that looked amazing!

Ironic for a place that serves lots of skiers and mountain bikers (Get it?). Service is slow. Food is mediocre. Tap list is mostly fruity things or CBD whatevers. Very little beer for "public house". Catering to the kids I guess. Not as good as it used to be and certainly not worth the drive if you're in the area.

We were in the midst of our August anniversary trip and had taken a nice drive to visit Mt. Hood…read more As we had already had brunch a few hours earlier, we weren't exactly hungry, but wanted some beers. Mt. Hood Brewing looked promising, so we decided to stop by. It was also in the middle of a heat wave in OR, so we asked to sit outside. After my husband snagged our table, I brought our well-trained and well-behaved Siberian with us to the patio. There was another poorly-behaved dog, but my dog could not have cared any less, and it was far enough away that it didn't bother me too much either. The outdoor seating was minimal and basic, but did the job. Thankfully there was shade from the umbrellas. I put my dog in his "tuck" command under me as he is trained to do at restaurants, and proceeded to look at the menu. To be honest, the food looked pretty good, and also smelled pretty good, as I watched other patrons get their meals. However, we were still pretty stuffed, so we settled with a beer flight. The beers were out to our table pretty quickly, but after trying them, my husband and I came to the consensus that we expected more from the only brewing company in town. As another Yelper put it, the beers fell flat for us too. I was hoping there would be more/different notes to each beer, which is the whole point of sampling multiple, but they all seemed quite monotone. It started getting pretty warm underneath our umbrella, so we quickly wrapped up our beer flight and left. The view was gorgeous, and the location splendid (hence the 4 stars), and perhaps next time I'd be down to try one of their dishes, specifically the elkburger, but I was a little disappointed in the beer. I've been to plenty of breweries to enjoy beers there and also bought craft beers/growlers for home, so I'd like to say I'm decently versed in beer, but this missed the mark.
