    mango pomelo sago drink

LOVE WHEN PLACES OFFER FREE SAMPLES! Especially if treats like these do not turn out as appetizing as they look. I was blown away with the flavor of crust by these tarts. I was expecting flaky but the texture of the tart pairs well with the filling. I was upset they didn't have the Hojicha flavor though. However they were all yummy, my bf enjoyed the original and I liked the matcha. My friend also ordered the pomelo mango drink ~$8, she said it was fresh but could have been better blended. I got half a dozen of tarts for ~$23. Would definitely recommend if you want to try or bring to a gathering. Definitely eat within a few days - doesn't taste the same after heated up.

Pretty good cheese tarts! I believe they recently opened, located in the second floor of queens center mall. They kinda taste like a richer Portuguese egg tart but with a shell crust rather than a flaky crust. I've tried the original, ube, matcha, and mango flavor. They bake them in batches throughout the day so we just browsed some stores for ~15 minutes while they were restocking on their original tart. That one might have been my favorite since it was fresh out of the oven. The crust can get a little firm so I definitely recommend warming them up and pairing them nicely with a cup of tea or coffee.

Hokkaido Cheese tart provides great pastries that gives a light and flavorful taste. The texture of the cheese tarts and the variety of flavors they offer, allows for a welcome option in a mall where everything else is overly sweet. The caramel is a top choice. The matcha and blueberry are great as well. However, one should definitely try the original at least once, it is unforgettable. Even though the cheese tarts taste great on their own, one cannot go wrong with pairing it with a beverage. A tart slightly warmed in one hand, hot tea in the other, you cannot go wrong with this combination.

I first noticed this brand at Atlas Park but never got to try it. I'm glad to see they opened one at Queens Center Mall so it is easily accessible. The baker told me that the original and blue berry cheese tart are customer favorites. I chose the original because I wanted to taste what the "basic" cheese tart before I venture on to the other flavors. The crust had a rich buttery tasty, crunchy and easily breaks off (lots of crumbs involved!). The cheese was... sadly, nothing special to write about. It was soft, melty cheese (think softened cream cheese) with a very faint cheese taste. I was prepared to be wowed but was sadly disappointed. The crust was the good thing about it. Maybe I got a bad batch? Or the flavored ones might be better?

Pretty good cheese tart. The outer crust is baked perfectly with a light crunch. The flavors I tried were: original, mango and matcha. I need to make another visit when they release ube flavor at the store. It's a bit on the pricier end, $4.25 for one and $13 for 3 but delicious.

Tried the original baked cheese tart and it's so so yummyyy. The cheese filling is light and delicious and pairs really well with the crust

Hokkaido is a bakery and a kiosk on level 2 of Queens Center Mall. The cheese tarts are nice. Awkward location. It's not near any tables, bathrooms, or garbage cans.

There's usually a line of some length during peak hours and especially around the holidays. You can tell by the sheer volume of baked goods and cakes available in their window displays that they sell a lot daily. This location is on the main drag of the little downtown section of Forest Hills, the baked goods in the front window display connect to a tall and long glass counter along the left side of the store that extends almost to the back. At the back middle and along the right side of the wall there's seating for about two dozen people at small cafe tables. They carry an assortment of traditional cakes (full and sliced), pies, cookies, pastries, cheesecakes, cupcakes, ice cream and coffee/tea drinks. A wide variety of flavors in each, so you're bound to find something sweet to satisfy most here. They are a classic bakery so from what I can tell, they don't carry items that are gluten, dairy or nut free. I've purchased their apple pie, fruit tart, berry napoleon, red velvet and chocolate fudge cakes from this or other locations in the past and they're all solid choices for desserts to share with a larger group, though I find a lot of their cake options to be on the richer side. My most recent encounter with their cakes came in the form of a slice of their seven layer cake $9.95 which is thin layers of yellow cake alternating with chocolate cream mmm pretty tasty, and their caramel cake $9.95 which had a layer of chocolate cake in the middle, sandwiched by caramel cream and white cake on either side. The latter had a pronounced caramel flavor that was enjoyable though a bit too much cream for me. My preference would be for their chocolate cakes over other cake flavors here. Their apple pie is one of my favorite apple pies anywhere tho!

It took us a while to decide on what to buy partly because we were buying also for our friends. Naturally, we were asked relatedly by at least the different staff if we needed help or if we were ready to order. Each time, they seemed genuinely want to help, and made us feel welcome with their smiles and gentle demeanor. For myself, the pistachio muffin was totally satisfying and I confirm they did not slump on the nuts. The crunchy eclair was a BIG hit with our friends, and the rest is kind of a blur but I know we enjoyed everything we tried. We'd go back without hesitation. I hope they keep up the great work.

It comes in cubes so definitely easier to share. CRUNCHY: this is the very must!! It's chocolate mouse inside with layers of other chocolates. Plus with nuts on it. It's like a ferrero but bigger! Price rating: 7/10. It was not expensive a good cake. I always buy cake here for special occasions or even if I am craving cakes. Visit this, its worth it!

I could've gone with a little less frosting and more cake, but it made for a very aesthetically pleasing topping with the vibrant colors, sprinkles, and glitter.
