I dined at Holstein on Saturday March 21st 2026 first time there I was at their Cosmopolitan location many years ago you would figure since it's not in a fancy hotel the prices would be a little more reasonable that's the only drawback of this place they are way overpriced there is no hamburger in the world that is worth $23 and then another $18 for French fries the best deal was the milkshake which they made me which was delicious that was $13 but it's a nice place very comfortable I had an excellent server her name is Sierra she took good care of me I had the gold standard Burger which was good cooked perfectly but ridiculously priced at $23 then I had some truffle fries which were delicious and enormous portion but also $18 the whole check with the tip was $70 a lot of money for a milkshake of burger and fries I think I'll stick to Five Guys I will go back though I like the place and I want to try another one of their burgers all in all it was a good experience one complaint is that when I paid the check I paid by cash my bill was $59.61 the server brought me my change $40 even it should have been $40.39 when I asked her about the change she said that they round out to the lowest or highest figure which I think is nonsense if I had paid by credit card they would have charged me the exact amount that I was supposed to pay now they're taking 39 cents extra of my money especially after paying $23 for a hamburger and $18 for French fries these restaurants think they're wise they're just greedy she gave me my change but I will be back read more

I have previously visited Holsteins many years ago when it was at the Cosmopolitan and was not impressed and never returned. This new incarnation is not like that it is absolutely amazing. The service atmosphere and food were miles above the original. My wife and I arrived for lunch and the service was very good and the waiter could answer all questions and seemed to know the details of every menu item. He also pointed out that the burgers are ground and pressed by hand in house. He also added that they guarantee all burgers will be cooked to the proper temperature requested before I asked. we had the BBQ Green Chili burger which is self explanatory but delicious. we also had the Rising Sun burger which is an asian inspired and seasoned burger which again was delicious. Sweet Potato Fries and Onion Rings completed the meal and they were also very good. Most importantly the burgers were cooked perfectly to medium Rare and medium on the other just as requested. They were truly perfect. we will be returning more than once and once you try it you will as well. read more

We really wanted to try this place and we were looking forward to shakes and burgers. Unfortunately, after the hostess seated us we waited for about ten minutes and never got a server. There were only two other tables with guests and one couple at the bar. The manager and waiter were more interested in watching the end of the football game on tv. I didn't know what to expect but was blown away at the quality and uniqueness of the food. A great atmosphere and good service as well. I had the Gold Standard burger and a peanut butter shake. Both were top notch. The fries and homemade ketchup were superior as well. But this is to be expected given they've made the correct decision to use tallow. Unlike the paid for glowing reviews, this one is real. Given all the decent burgers in Vegas, I don't see this place lasting too long. I had their classic burger (added cheese) and a side of fries. The burger is beautiful but it fell short in every other way. The meat lacked flavor. A little seasoning before cooking probably would have helped. Their "special sauce" is simply house-made ketchup. It is overly sweet and overpowered everything else. I also prefer a toasted bun. This was not. Additionally, the bun had an odd rubbery texture. Rather than complimenting the burger patty, it seemed that the two were distinct parts fighting each other. The biggest disappointment was the fries. They were not fresh and had a hollowed-out dry taste. I'm pretty sure they were frozen fries but if they weren't, they were just as bad. Sorry to be so harsh here but I did have big expectations that simply were not met. read more

The service is excellent. The staff is very friendly. It was our 13 year wedding anniversary and the made us feel very special. The food was delicious and the shakes were 10 out of 10. I was visiting Vegas and was on the Strip and asked for a more local place. I was told I had to try Holsteins, and I was up for it when I heard their menu. It was beyond my expectations! The drinks were amazing but the food was beyond my expectation! The Raider burger (even though I'm a Hawks fan) was so flavorful and delicious! The parm fries were a meal in their own, I stuffed myself like it was thanksgiving just trying to finish them, the service, I can't. Everyone was happy and attentive! They made you feel like a local but also felt cared for. I highly recommend going to the Art District and discovering Holsteins. You can't leave disappointed! read more

We are local it's just too bad that two people that live in Las Vegas can't go to the art district. Have a hamburger, steak sandwich, salad, a beer and a cocktail and spend $130. This place we have been to several times, but we will never patronize it again. The staff is friendly and nice, the atmosphere is great, but just like every other person that starts a business here with good attention, they decide to gouge the locals and cater to tourist that will try at one time pay the exorbitant amount of money one time and keep it moving when they move to the art district. We are one of the first people to eat there and we were happy. It was here instead of in the Cosmo, where you had to pay for parking and it was just a journey to go there. every time we've gone since there's been less people, this last time it was noon and there was only two people besides us in there, the shows they priced themselves out of locals. So congratulations Holsteins. You lost customers that spent a lot of money with you over the years because you don't care about locals at all read more

loved them when they were at the cosmopolitan on the strip. and i actually think getting a smaller spot in the art district is better for them. burgers and fries are a great meal for a night of heavy drinking. they designed the place very well, it def fits into the art district asthetic. read more

I was first introduced to this place when they were still on the strip after my wedding. Already they deserved 5 stars. The billionaire burger is amazing, especially since this burger wouldn't be legal where I'm from. I went again with my family and extended family this past Thursday (July 17, 2025) at their new location, and the meal was as expected. Fantastic. I spoke to the server about the temp of my burger but since I was giving pieces of it to my toddler son, it was no big deal that it was a little farther along than I personally like, and we were a large group so it was reasonable to think that my nephew got my burger instead. For a medium burger, it was *muah*. I food alone, 5 stars. But they earned a hundred stars that night. My niece, who can sometimes be teased for being a picky eater, got a little emotionally overwhelmed by comments about said pickiness. She hid out in the bathroom for a significant amount of time to process and all that. My wife checked in on her and told her it's fine to take all the time she needed. Some time passed and she hadn't come out. When my wife went back to check again, the hostess (we are THE WORST for not getting her name) was in there comforting her and just being a genuine human being. The three of them hugged it out, my wife left them to talk, and a few minutes later my niece rejoined the table. I cannot think of many times, restaurants or otherwise, where the people there just genuinely looked out for their customers like this. I don't know who you are host, but your service has guaranteed that anytime I'm in Las Vegas, I'm getting a burger from Holsteins. My niece means the world to my wife, so she means the world to me.
