I mean, he seriously couldn't be more professional, thorough, polite, and super cool. He went above and beyond. Sat down on the back deck with me, had some coffee, walked me through the diagram showing all of the possible entryways, gave me some tips on things that we could do on our own, and then worked out a super affordable price for us because he felt bad about someone who had come to our house previously, who was no longer with their company. I currently have a year long contract with home shield. I cannot state how frustrating of an experience this has been. I have consistently contacted them multiple times the last two months, they don't reply until I express extreme frustration and they have not visited my home in the past two months. This is a bummer and shift in my initial experience with them, as in the first month I had more of a seamless experience (they would actually come the first month). Had several wasps nests--two that were way too high for me to get to myself--that needed attending. Found Homeshield on Yelp and reached out. Within minutes I was on the phone with Logan (?) and he set me up with an appointment for the next day. It was a four hour window but my pest control agent Germayn (pronounced Jermaine) got to me on the earlier side. I got a text from him about 30 minutes before he arrived. Carlos J was amazing! He explained exactly what needed to be done and went through where the problem areas were and how we were going to maintain. I called for both a pest maintenance and a rodent problem. We never had a rodent problem before and Carlos took his time and explained exactly what the plan of action was going to be. I felt so relieved and felt that I was in good hands. They would be returning in a week to check the traps and then maintain the problem to keep it contained. I like their plan of action and also their spraying around my house, it was very thorough and safe, (very pet friendly too) Their customer Service from the beginning was very outstanding and very nice and set me up with direct debit no hassle billing. They did a good job ensuring all indoor and outdoor spaces were sprayed. The first payment was cheaper than other places. It has only been a week since they came but I already see less active roaches, most that I have seen in my yard are dead. Overall, affordable prices and their chemicals seem to be working so far. Initially, HomeShield dropped the ball communication wise, but Edwin from their team reached out and made sure to make things right. I appreciate his customer service and am willing to give them another chance. Seriously, Edwin was very nice and apologetic about what Angel was able to come by another day and perform treatment, with Brian also stopping by to lend a hand. The two were prompt, arriving 30 minutes within their window, did excellent work, and at all times were available for questions. After the treatment was done, Angel left the place spotless, didn't even notice a thing.
